Unveiling SCDF's 6th Gen Red Rhino | Workplan Seminar 2022

Our Operationally Ready National Serviceman (NSman), CPL Julian Fan, is back with another video to introduce our newest, 6th generation Light Fire Attack Vehicle (LFAV)!
Also known as the Red Rhino, the latest LFAV features new equipment and capabilities to maintain SCDF's operational edge in saving lives amidst an increasingly challenging operational landscape and tighter manpower constraints.

I'm still kind of surprised that the Red Rhino is unique to Singapore in concept; given the increasing urbanisation around the world, the Red Rhino would be home not only here in Singapore but in many other densely populated cities around the world. Many other countries have small-sized fire engines, often based or mounted on small-sized lorries, vans, or pick-ups, but the Red Rhino is definitely unique in combining small-size, all-terrain capability, and fast response and fire-fighting capability in what is basically a car-sized ATV.

Technically there is,in the rhino there’s a thing called a combi-tool its both a spreader n cutter

I guess the fire bikers are still using backpacks as there is no place for a trolley on the bike and if there's a trolley it will make the bike heavier
