I got my first premium bible this week. its a schuyler csb psq black pearl calf skin. blue under silver. i love it. i just wish they offered nasb psq 2020
It doesn’t hurt anyone. But I think it would hurt the feelings of those believers in developing nations who are struggling to afford internal plumbing and AC in their churches. I guess you can’t argue with goat skin and impeccable stitching. Even harder to argue with a whole bookshelves of it.
Do you send all your extra money to those nations?
honestly you right. I live in a house rn I don't need but there's people in other countries dying of starvation. Ima sell my house to the poor and life in a tent in the wilderness for the rest of my life. Thank you for your inspiring and thought provoking words.

Nothing wrong with owning premium bibles, I've found they make you read more. My favorite is the the 2002 Lockman in touch.

They’re all “perfect.” When I read, I know the Lord is there,speaking to me, teaching me, transforming me, dividing soul from spirit in me, giving me wisdom and taking me deeper into His heart. I forget whether I’m reading a hardback or one with a nice leather binding. The material “disappears” in the wonder of His Word.

I think the company’s of the Bible’s sponsorship them. Or is given to them for free. So they probably didn’t pay $3000 for it bc I agree that’s a bit much for just bibles that aren’t study bibles.
