  • Aerial drone flying over this part of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada shows the beautiful Saskatchewan Legislative Building, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Gardens and the Wascana Lake with a surprise toward the end :)
I hope you enjoy and subscribe to this TH-cam drone channel while seeing my travels from an aerial view above nature, towns and cities in the UK, Ireland, Europe, Australia, US, Canada, and several islands @ / jamesbebop . Or please visit my photo website with photos of 49 countries/islands, all 50 states and all but one province in Canada that I could not drive through at www.JGlowacki.com . I love to drive throughout the world whether on the right or left with either left-hand steering or right-hand steering and of course I have become accustomed to using a stick-shift with both hands :) I truly enjoy the great food and discussions with locals where I have been blessed to travel. Included on this channel are some driving and snorkeling videos and even a couple bike rides I recorded.
You can also see my beginning drone videos looking at 2016 dates when I filmed in safe nature areas. I practiced how to crash safely, how to fly with three propellers and how to ground the drone and drive to it. I practiced in snow, rain and extreme cold to make sure I understood the drones limitations before I went to the big cities. I handle a drone like I do a gun and I truly hope others do the same.
Please share your thoughts with me; even if they are not easy to read, I need to know how I am meeting your expectations 😊
    Thank you,
    James

      Are you still in Regina?

No, I live in South Texas. I would have drove up that way this winter to enjoy more of the Rockies, but I am not permitted to, because of COVID-19 border restrictions so I only made it to North Dakota, Montana and Idaho as seen in recent videos posted. Maybe I will make it next winter 😎

Can you give me some tips related to drone?

Practice away from people and animals. If you look at my 2016 drone videos you will see all were in nature or areas with no people. Also, I practiced little things like flying between trees, low level and control. Mostly I was learning response and what was real with my eyes and what was seen in the camera. Mostly get to know your drone and then fly safe 😎 Look at my most resent work where I fly a few feet over trees, buildings and land. This took years to learn and for me to trust my drone/skills. Buy a good drone that does not move unless you move it. It should hold up to at least 20 MPH winds and stay still. Have fun with all the new views you will see 😎

Hi, did you had to get permission to shoot this footage?

I did not because it was not in a NFZ list...I stayed low and close with it being a public area and the importance of the property I started filming. A lot is changing everywhere so you should check before you go and again before you fly. The good news is my drone will not start if I am in a NFZ that is published as such. A lot of people want to claim more space as no drones, but they are not being added properly so sometimes the area is not recognized. It takes a lot of time to review and follow all CAA rules, then look up providence and then city rules so I just stick to what they have registered and follow federal rules as a film hobbyist. In Europe I followed what the EU wrote which all nations agreed to and then I stayed away from sensitive properties on my own.
