  • Relaxing and Quiet Neighborhood near Wascana lake in Regina Saskatchewan Regina Real Estate n Homes
    In this video we walk through nice quiet Regina Saskatchewan neighborhood with cozy homes and big tree alleys and many mini libraries. It was very relaxing and calming summer day with birds chirping everywhere. Regina real estate and life.
    Welcome to a virtual tour of one of the most picturesque and tranquil neighborhoods in Regina! In this video, we invite you to unwind and immerse yourself in the beauty of the relaxing landscapes and charming houses that adorn this idyllic community.
    As the camera gently glides through tree-lined streets, you'll immediately notice the sense of calm and serenity that surrounds the area. The neighborhood is nestled in nature's embrace, with well-maintained parks, lush green spaces, and colorful flower gardens dotting the landscape, providing a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
    The houses themselves exude an enchanting charm. Classic architecture blends harmoniously with modern designs, creating a timeless appeal. From cozy cottages with white picket fences to elegant two-story homes with inviting front porches, each residence exudes a unique character and warmth that instantly makes you feel at home.
    Stroll along the quiet sidewalks, and you'll encounter friendly neighbors enjoying peaceful walks with their pets or tending to their well-kept gardens. The strong sense of community is palpable, creating an atmosphere where residents are more than just neighbors; they are a close-knit family.
    As the seasons change, so does the scenery. In the warmer months, blooming flowers paint the neighborhood in vibrant colors, while the fall foliage turns the streets into a breathtaking canvas of reds, yellows, and oranges. Even winter has its charm, as the neighborhood transforms into a winter wonderland with glistening snow-covered rooftops.

    I live in Regina. I want to tell you about my city. It is the provincial capital of the province of Saskatchewan. Saskatchewan is sparsely populated about one million people. Regina has about 200,000 people and is located in the Southern part of the province. We have a University campus here and a Community college. We have 2 hospitals and, like the rest of Canada have universal Medicare. Saskatchewan's source of income is agriculture, mining and oil and gas. There is also some tourism in the north. People come to the north to experience our wilderness areas and for hunting and fishing. There are camps that are so remote that they can only be reached by aircraft. Now for the bad stuff. The weather. The winter weather can be brutal. It is not unusual for temperatures to be -30 to -40 celcius especially in February. We also get a lot of snow. We have equipment to handle it so the weather has to be extremely bad for services such as public transportation and schools to be shut down. Not only that but it is also not unusual for us to have snow by Halloween (October 31) and not have consistently warm weather until May.

    This is where the rich people live, not the usual middle class. Regina is the provincial government city. Lots of government personnel live here.

    • @lvfreeAdventures
      @lvfreeAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks, is this considered to be a rich area in Regina? Are there more area like this?

    • @shirleycampbell1026
      @shirleycampbell1026 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lvfreeAdventures This is the older part of the city across from some government buildings and Legislature building. It was once the high end houses. Some of the new areas might be more expensive..I'm not sure. Now people move onto several acres and build their more expensive homes. These new ones are outside of city limits.

    • @shirleycampbell1026
      @shirleycampbell1026 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Another point is these homes look lovely because of all the trees. In Regina it is flat plains/prairie and almost all the trees have been planted. They take 20-40 years to grow to this. The city as well as owners plant trees. City trees cannot be cut down and the city maintains them.
