hey canta, with rathalos arms and kut kut legs instead of bulldrome you get atk s, weakness exploit and 5 slots so you can gem artillery without the need of a weapon slot or talisman
How come you are able to do the adept dodge before the enemy lands its attack, and also how do you cancel the short dash that usually happens after that adept dodge?
my best time is 10'10 with striker switch axe. I had a Silverwind mixed set with silverwind soul, weakness exploit, evade extender, and crit boost. I used the obama swith axe
Do you recommend any seregios weapons that go down the normal upgrade path instead of the hyper? I was thinking the regular seregios cb would be better than the hyper one for the raw.
Try mashing Back + X during the animations. Also, remember that it's the opposite direction your Hunter is facing, not the camera. For example, if your hunter is facing left, hold right.
about astalos flying and then land running and slamming the ground...i believe you can perfect evade that (if it's possible for me, it'll be possible for you) so you could practice that for a better time instead of absolute evading that

Lol replying 3 weeks late but hey it's still usable because Striker CB is geared more towards axe mode. When in red shield mode, all other styles get a 15% attack boost while Striker gets a 20% boost in axe mode. So it's all about spamming that sweet double swipe and the super burst. The charging guard point is pretty awesome too.

This has been around since the Charge Blade was introduced in MH4, just press A after charging your phials.

its not adept dodge. its the Absolute Evasion/Readiness Hunter Art.
He is using striker style.
So the dodges you see are the hunter arts.
It very clearly says that canta's using striker
THAT'S what it was! I'm so used to my Energy Blade/Over Limit/Healing Phial setup that I completely forgot there are hunter arts that let you evade!
