I love it. Ideal for cruising down through France, under their troublesome low bridges, but room enough for two couples to have a great time together. This does it for me more than the superyachts.
Agreed - for that I'd go for the 12 Sedan with twin 110hp, and only add a few centimetres to the airdraft. The twins might be handy for some of the swifter rivers too.
I quite like this very layout. Enclosed to accommodate both hot and cold or rainy weather. I say always go for the 2nd cabin, even if you don't think you'll use it. Plenty of extra storage and flexibility.
As an Aquaholic fan since 2019, I have to say that I've started binge-watching Nick's superyatchs videos and now I think I enjoy smaller ones the most... what a lovely one this is!
This is exactly why we all love you to bits Nick. What others would edit out you leave in. Informative friendly, awe inspiring and bloody funny sometimes. More please Nick and please don`t change a thing. Thanks
I like that. Looks very good quality. The main bed is nice and rectangular when often they taper in the bow. Looks like the table in the lounge drops to make additional sleeping so potentially sleeps 6. Would be ideal as a holiday getaway on someplace like Windermere
Lovely little boat. Definitely like the enclosed lounge. Two cabins albeit then being small. It's cosier and use less energy to heat or cool. Thank you for the show Nick 👍👍
Sometimes you see a boat that has it all, and its for a damn good price. Actually, sometimes it's more fascinating to see how much boat you can buy for a reasonable amount of money. When you see all the superyachts, money seems to be absolutely no object. Everything is possible. But even at a more affordable price, there appears to be plenty of choice and you won't lack much. The Delphia is a good example of this.
Very nice! Great boat for someone who wants to go on rivers and canals and see the sights, instead of going 45 knots in the Mediterranean with their hair on fire! And you don't need to rob a bank to afford it (although it's still reserved for the advantaged). Thanks for the tour!
What a beautiful and almost perfect boat. Would love an ocean going version of this larger engines. If they pull that off it will be a definite competitor to Sargo, Nimbus and the likes thereof! The only thing I would add is a convertible seat in the lounge so that guests can sit forward along with the captain. Otherwise, well done!
Hi Nick, And thank you for this nice show of this Delphia 10 Sedan and its looks very nice with a combined salon galley this one with 2 cabines and one head looks great and under the floor the engine bay and when I am right also can be fitted with a electric engine Thanks Nick thats a great start for 2024 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
A decent little boat I would be happy with, especially given the price. But I some times wonder about the designers ability to give a more roomy accommodation for a given size. And it has a small cockpit. We hired a Haines 10 meter on the River Shannon a few years back and I was surprised by the space on board. Admittedly it was the aft cabin version with dual steering position; just incase the sun appeared; but it had two good sized double ensuite cabins. With four adults on board we weren't knocking elbows and a very relaxing week was had.
That is an " Awesome" ship. I like the 'rub-strip' that surrounds the hull.(It was on the entryway door but not highlighted). The entire ship is a great weekender for a family, or for fishing buds. I love the enclosed cabin area as sudden squall won't soak the sofa, and the removable enclosure for the aft area. I can't show you a design for a swinging door instead of the Godaweful zippers. Best wishes for a safe, and fun New Year for You Nick, and all the fans.
Like a lower-end motorhome this small yacht seems to do the job but doesn't look like it's made to last. Also at 0:32 did they really put their logo off-centered and tilted? Quality build 😁
For mindful cruisers who like to keep it coastal or voyage inland, this package represents a utopia of compromises - that is not to damn the vessel with faint praise, but rather to underscore its emphasis on the practical needs of the middle-class boater.
It is smallish but has proper indoor dining section and galley and sort of manages two double bed cabins. Forward one even has quite good window situation. Nice bathroom too. I wouldn't quite call it a yacht but it has actual yacht aspects. Place it in nice scenic locations, some good restaurants, not entirely disagreeable guests, starting to seem like a yacht vacation :)
Nick, the Sedan is going to be a popular UK inland and estuary boat, my own POV of course. The price tag is about right(?) and wont break the bank to run it. I like the fully enclosed cabin for uncertain UK weather usage 😎 Cheers DougT
@@JJ-vy2rh Exactly! The safety benefit of better design, if only to round off some corners, would massively outweigh the minimal extra cost involved. But I get the feeling the approach to cost cutting is all too often ‘all or nothing’ to widen the price gap as much as possible from other boats.
Range confuses me. Fuel tank holds 285L, boat gets maybe 250-300 miles (guess). Seapiper 37 holds 757L, boat gets 1000 miles. Speeds about the same. Why so much more range with the seapiper?
Happy New Year Nick, please tell Marianne I said hello. So the best thing on that boat is those yellow socks with blue fish. Absolute necessity if you're going boating. Thanks as always for a stellar review. Cheers!
I was on a San Diego harbor brunch cruise last month when a warship gave 6 long blasts. I asked the steward what it meant and he said basically I am bigger than you get the F out of my way.
@Navy1977 Duration was 3-5 seconds per blast with 3-5 seconds between them and she was underway heading out of the harbor. There were lots of pleasure boats and jet skis around too.
Whatever you do don't edit out the bloopers, everyone makes mistakes at times and it makes the tours more user friendly. I have ventured into some of the other content makers stuff but at times it is too clean and sterile. Yours has the correct balance to make it enjoyable and informative. Nice boat, must say small engine but as it is river fodder I guess that's not an issue.

3:11 - 3 seconds.. the fastest you have ever reviewed a cockpit so far. I feel your deep love for this boat :)

Not sure I'd be comfortable puttering across the channel in it to get to France with that single small engine

A great start to the new year, many thanks Nick. 🍺

Nick, I adore you, you are so real, so genuine. You are a British national treasure.

It's a nice little package 😀 Thanks😊
Looks good for rivers or inland lakes. I wonder if there’s an option for a high/low table in the cabin, it looks like it could make another bed.
It’s really fun watching you struggle with hand operations, keep them in all your vlogs 😂😂
Happy new year

Nice boat for the Broads and Thames, price is favourable.

A good price, but cost savings can be seen with the potentially dangerous sharp squared-off corners on the galley side at both waist and head levels.
Not sure how that saves that much

Someone must have read my mind, they went with a modest engine for the size of the boat. How much fuel does the tank hold?
Nice river boat nick for a sow jaunt up river lol
Nick, have you considered a sock sponsor?

It had been a long day! 😄
This boat had very much the feel of a cramped budget caravan - not sure I'd want to spend much time in there on a rainy week!
Obviously a lot of money for the average Joe but that is a great option for a weekend away,
Nice one. Thanks.
No problem 👍
This boat deserved a much better review, I get the feeling he didn't much care for this boat and was almost doing it under sufferance.

Up in Scottish waters, sedan is required :)
Or - should I just say - I require sedan :)

Is there a London boat show this year?
Nope, not since 2018 sadly. But there is one at the NEC now in February called Boatlife
