I've watched dozens of videos...dozens!...but NO ONE has gone into the amount of detail, speaking plain english as you have. I ordered a Mars 4 Max this morning and thank you for the time you put into this!
I just came across this video because our son wants a Resin printer for Christmas. After doing research we decided to get him the Mars 4 9k along with the mercury plus bundle. We hope he likes it and will use it. I am also saving this video to send him after he opens it as a starter after reading all the directions. I also am going to try using it as well for D&D miniatures and such. I am much older but got into playing the game again after my son and his friends started playing it. Its much more fun with pieces you can move around on a battle map. All the info in this video is great and it covered some things that i did not think to need or even get but now we might need them. Thanks. And just because of this video i subscribed to the channel
Thanks for this video, have so much information as i need to have pretty clear how my 3D printer will work, a lot of very useful explanations , thanks again.
Hi there! I just got my first 3D printer from Bambu Lab and I'm learning the basics etc. Also, it's very interesting to learn about resin 3D printing. Your content is pleasent to watch and I'm learning a lot with various topics around the 3D printing.
One thing I'm a bit confused about in regards to the new 4K printers is how the actual print resolution is compared to the 2K printers with a smaller print area. I'm betting most people look at 4K and say it's finer definition, but is it really when you consider the print area of a 4K printer is often a lot bigger than the 2K models? I have a Creality Halot One, that can print a layer height of .01 - .0t5, which seems pretty good. The LCD screen resolution on the Halot One is 1620x2560 with a print are of 127x160mm. A 4K printer with a small print area, and small Z steps would result in a much more details print, but I'm not sure about printers with a larger print areas.
You should definitely add an activated carbon filter to that exhaust fan. Blowing all that stuff *you* don't want in your house (which I absolutely understand) unfiltered into the environment isn't very nice to say the least.
Wow, thanks for sharing your knowledge, it is very well explained. I would really like to find a complete course with a project to work on so I can learn on the go, apart from knowing how to play the configurations well. I know that this requires specific software. I see that the one you mention is quite good, however it exceeds the license costs at least for me (daily use for hobby).
