Had a great time. Sad to see my season end but I'll be counting the days until next season. I started making these videos because I found it difficult to get others to share crabbing locations, so I vowed to share every location I found. I lost count but every video I made this year had a new location and I rarely went to the same place twice. Next year I'll be doing a mix of new and old locations. There's a lot of places I'd like to revisit from this past year. I hope everyone enjoyed watching the videos as much as I enjoyed making them!
Just went to Matt’s landing on 10/22 (trying to find time to work on the video) but there was someone on the dock so we found a dirt road to get you out to the middle (when your coming in on the main road, the dirt road is out to your left) we caught about 25 total with 5 keepers and a couple big ones in about 4 hours with everything being caught in the last hour and a half. Seemed like the tide came in a little later there and sadly we had to leave when we started catching them around 2 o clock. Definitely excited to go there again next year when it’s warmer!
Appreciate your videos! I regularly go to Bay Harbor Beach Park to crab because of your video crabbing there. Until this year, I hadn’t been crabbing since I was a teenager. It has been great.
That was my goal. I want to show everyone where they can go to have a fun day crabbing! Not every spot will get you that bushel limit but the important part is to have a great day trying.
Thanks! If it's at least enjoyable I'll be happy. I'll be learning as I go. Hopefully I can help others learn along with me. It's well outside my comfort zone, so it should be interesting if not borderline comical. Lol
great video as always your out there enjoying the outdoors....cant wait for the fishing adventures too....we really enjoy your sessions & of course the Purple Challenger is awesome !! More More More
It's like I say on every video, Life is too short, enjoy the day! Don't wait til retirement to enjoy what you like doing. by that time it might be too late. I love my car! It might not be the best fit for my lifestyle but screw that nonsense. More power baby!
I remember back in the day just using 2 slices of white bread did the trick in the minno trap but my dad hated me useing the bread that he paid for lol
Matts Landing is also known for bird watching in the spring. Birders come from all over to see the migrating flocks. It's also has to be the capital for Mosquitos and Greenhead flies.
The last time I was there they didn't have the pier and you could drive all the way back past the gate. It is beautiful there. Thanks for going there and bringing back memories. I now live in the mountains of Virginia and miss the crabbing and fishing. I can smell the salty marsh ....lol
Tony, Thanks for another great video. Sorry you didn't catch any crab and just a few Spot fishes. I enjoyed your videos every week and found them very helpful. I know I can't wait until next May when hopefully the crabs will be biting, plus your videos. Will check back to see if you have any ones on fishing. Again, thanks for the great videos and hope to see you next year at one of the locations. Have a great, and healthy off season.
Hey Tony, Dan here. Sad but its over. Thanks for all the great videos. Like you said be counting the days. Hope to Hope to run in to you next season. By the way I understand that Matt's landing is loaded with green heads and mosquito s in the summer. That would keep me away if true. Have a good winter.

I had a great time there. I love that marshy bay smell. Little cold so the smell was barely there.
At Matt’s landing I always crabed to the left side of the inlet pipe.
Better luck next time!!

Have a good winter.
In that area , grass shrimp, blood worms & even earthworms are the ticket for spot& perch
I never tried regular worms. Night crawlers or red wigglers? Blood worms are just too expensive.
@slingshotcrabbing earthworms/ nightcrawlers they dont last long in salt water but do get hit
Looked it up. Those minnows I was catching were Atlantic Silversides. They are pretty thick in there.
You should have used the grass shrimp the fish is called spearing or silver sides
I'm learning all the time. Now I know to save those tiny shrimp.
Their Called silverside spearing great for flounder fishing .its just a little to cold .youll get them next year.great video as always.
Well it wasn't for a lack of trying, see next year!
Yeah 51 degrees is mucho cold. Need a boat to crab at deeper depths
Yea. When I saw that temp I though "well, that ain't good."
Ever crab shellbay ave in cape May court house it’s exit 9 on the park way always good crab in long pier runs along a creek every nice spot
Perch chasin shrimp
Glad I found your channel, I just got in to crabbing this year and only been a couple times but used your spots to help me out, thanks!
