I was in puppy love with Ronnie in 6th grade and thereafter. In the early 90s I met a girl who could be her sister, looked like her, slim figure, long dark hair, a dancer and a singer too. I told her all about why she caught my notice, but we still hit it off great. She's now my wife for many years. Our daughter is named after Ronnie.

@@hotgritz4sho According to Ronnie, Estelle and Nedra of the original Ronnettes did not want to sing or perform anymore as the Ronnettes. Nedra had found god and would only sing for the Lord and Estelle was in no condition to come back, physically or mentally...all this said in Ronnie's book.
I love the way Ronniei is always so happy up on stage singing and the same with all her interviews. She loved to perform and enjoyed any chance she had to do so. A kind woman and a woman with talent. She surely is missed.
Sure Ronnie loved to perform, but like many women do when love comes their way, they give up everything they have accomplished to be with the man they love even if it means the loss of their career. As Ronnie states in her book. Phil Spector gave her choice, its either show business or him....and of course she chose to stay locked up in his mansion as his wife.
