For sure. I´m a 49 year old who saw every boy band out there, not only in the English speaking countries but in the Spanish speaking music too (there were many good bands out there). BTS is something of their own. They have it all.
We have a top +350 🤣 soon to be more. If Kid Laroi and Hobi is legit I'm done. No ill be done with RM Jk and Pharrell too... wait ✋ and twt army punching me in the face with D3 😶🤪 how do we survive their "break?"
#56 year old ARMY here. A lot of those 30 plus year old women are now BTS fans. BTS are on another level than NSync or Backstreet boys. I'm not hating on them, just telling the truth. These guys have amazing work ethic, talent, and they are Hip Hop at their core. So not a regular boy band, but amazing performance artists. They are know in the KPop community for their choreography, and they have so many skills that US/Western boy bands have never had. And their swag is on another level.
I second the opinion, and im 34 yo. Not hating on BSB or NSync cause Im still sometimes vibes to those old songs, but BTS is just on another level. The amount of talents those guys have is out of the worlddd and they are so damn humble too! 🥰
Yeah, a 49 year old ARMY here. I have seen Metallica, Pink Floyd, Rush, and Nirvana Live. I have gone to 2 BTS concerts and they are in a league of their own. I never thought anyone could beat Pink Floyd but BTS performance is on a different level. I never thought I would ever like a "boy band" but I don't put them in that category. They are their own situation.
56 year old ARMY - I've seen Van Halen, Aerosmith, Queen, Depeche Mode, Evenescense, Phil Collins, Journey, REO Speedwagon. Def Leppard. BTS I've seen twice and they are the best performers I've ever seen. On another level. So Talented. And ARMY's are on another level for fanbases. The Purple Ocean is Real, and once you have experienced it, you want to experience again and again.
Hello there! I’m a 49 year old with a heavy metal soul. Despised boy bands. Until bts that is. I’ve gone to see them 6 times because their concerts are simply the best.
The sad reality is that BTS might never be considered among these legends because they're not from the west. I truly hope that the future ahead is friendlier for our guys but even right now, it looks unfriendly. The kind of ignorant hatred and discrimination they're experiencing to this day is sad!
I'm 59 years old and was never into many Boy Bands but I'd say none of them can compare to the versatility and talent of BTS. Excited to see who you've chosen as your first solo reaction.
Oh man, my dudes. MIC Drop was one of my first BTS songs, and I was definitely hooked ever since. Whenever I need of pick-me up, it's MIC Drop and Not Today to get my spirits up. I do hope enjoy more entire-group songs/MVs. While they are all amazing on their own, nothing can compare to when they're all together.
I am a 61 year old (young at heart) ARMY. I was doing a google search for a show call Drop the Mic where different celebrities would battle rap. I wanted to rewatch an episode. I saw Mic Drop and clicked on it to see what it was. This was the first BTS song I ever heard and absolutely love it. These guys crushed it and down the Rabbit Hole I went. That was back in 2017. I wanted to know who they were and why had I not heard of them before. I binged for days I went all the way back to the beginning. I am current with the music but there is still so much other content out there besides their music. That other content is what made me realize these guys are really special. They are true entertainers (Singers, rappers, dancers, actors, comedians, writers, composers, producers, intelligent, have charisma, all good looking) and the most humble group of guys I have never had a chance to meet or see in person. They have started with nothing but dreams and have reach the top with a lot of hard work, constant struggles and a loyal fan base ARMY that love them dearly. Borahae 💜
36 year old here. I argued with my niece and sister for years on how BSB and Nsync would never be beat. Came across BTS' Cypher Medley one day on TH-cam and saw firsthand how completely wrong I was. BTS is on a whole other level of artistry. They don't miss. Love yalls BTS reactions :))
Been a Backstreet Boys fan since I was 5! Saw them live 3 times. I would literally give up all those concerts to see BTS just once 🤣 BTS would murder the BSB track for track
I'm now in my late 30s and one of those 12-year fangirl over BSB. Two decades later, my cousin begged me to check out BTS but dismissed her saying I'm too old for boy bands. It would take another 7 years before I accidentally watched one of their performances on TH-cam. Imagine how surprised I was. I stayed up until 5 am watching their music videos and live performances. Yes, BTS is a boy group but they are far from the ones we're used to in the west.
47 year old ARMY here. I was never any boy band stan except Backstreet Boys even when I was a teenager not until I’ve known BTS. I so love these 7 amazing young men. Each time I hear people praising them because of their talents. I am like a proud mom.
I'm 26, and I've listened to many music genres including rock, pop and latin since I'm from South America, of course I know boy bands like Backstreet boys but BTS is on another level. They have a fantastic variety of songs, if you're surprised to watch them dance and kill it you'll also be surprised to listen to their ballads and another discography. They're really talented
This reaction is exactly the reason I watch Bts reaction videos. They are a dream team. Any one of them could be a successful artist on their own, but as a group they all bring something different so the diversity of their music is impressive. The rap line writes a lot of their music, not just the rap songs. They are credited in many of the more vocally focused songs. 💜💜💜
There are 4 versions to this song. If you count their animated MV (like Pixar but BTS- then 5 versions). 1. this version in English with Steve Aoki 2. All Korean 3. Japanese version (has it's own MV) 4. One with Desiigner My guess on the singer is Jimin for his Bday. I haven't been "following per se"- but I know ARMY and what we demand, lol.
Enjoying your reactions guys. I'm a 65 year old woman, Beatles fan from way back but BTS are just on another level. Never liked Hip Hop, Rap, would not have even dreamt about listening to a "foreign" group but these beautiful souls have turned me inside out and upside down!!! Love every single genre that they do, solo or group. My everyday playlist is currently sitting at 153 tracks and growing. Can't wait to see where you go next on your BTS journey.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Dope!!! That’s one of their songs too!! Lol. You should listen to it, along with No More Dream, We Are Bulletproof part 2, NO, Boy in Love and War of Hormone. These are a lot of their earlier songs. Hope the solo you are planning to listen to is Jimin since it’s Jimintober 🥰💜
58 year old mom here… BTS IS IN A WHLOE OTHER STRATOSPHERE THAN Backstreet Boys or *NSYNC. You have only scratched the surface… I can’t wait to see how you feel after another 50 reactions including some of their variety shows like Run BTS and Bon Voyage! ARMY mom for life! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 I look forward to watching your journey!
You definitely need to hear Hip Hop Phile (or sometimes credited as Hip Hop Lover), a song in which they pay homage to hip hop culture and mention the rap artists that have influenced them the most throughout their lives. An incredible song!
I'm a 39yo ARMY for many years now... My favorite songs are their B-sides. What got me into BTS is their song We are Bulletproof Pt.2 but what made me an ARMY are the songs Blood, Sweat and Tears & Fire. Thank you for reacting to them. Even though your cup of tea is a different genre, it's refreshing to see people checking them out and not just outright being rude and xenophobic.
mic drop was THE song that made me an ARMY. I remember listening to several other title songs and I was like ''yes these guys are extremely talented but maybe it's not for me'' and then I heard this song and well....the rest is history I've been an ARMY since 2017, a bit after mic drop was released!
Finally - MIC drop! I mean, the live and behind the scenes of the video are amazing too. They hardly use green screens. So those explosions? They’re real. I also recommend ON - KINETIC MANIFESTO MV too. Excited to watch you react to Jimin! Hmmm… hope it’s LIE. Or SERENDIPITY. Or FILTER. F it…. whichever. Hope we don’t have to wait a few more days. It’s like sharing your favorite movie with a friend - and waiting for them to react … and waiting… and waiting…. 😂
People usually find funny the "ratatouille" line but it really makes sense since they use many "food" references in the song Starting with JHope's verse, mentioning "undercooked steaks" (immature/ arrogant jerks) In his verse Suga says "In our concerts there isn't a empty seat", a direct translation will be “in our concerts there never is a grape.” Grapes is a slang for empty seats since remaining seats are colored purple when you purchase tickets online Also in the last verse they say "we taste sharp like cola" also meaning “we diss sharply like cola.” Why the food lines? I guess is because JHope starts the song and in his first line he mentions the "spoon class theory" ( individuals classified into different socioeconomic classes/ spoon classes) the term might be based on the English idiom "born with a silver spoon in one's mouth" meaning one's success in life depends entirely on being born into a wealthy family. Jhope says he doesn't care if he is a "Dirty Spoon" (lowest class) bc he beats up many "Gold Spoons" just with holding a mic BTS have a song called "Baepsae" also known as "Silver spoon" that is about the spoon classes and the socioeconomic problems that today's youth faces, is an old song but you should check it out!
Well all 30+ ladies are now purple blooded i bet!!! Great reaction u got a new sub… also is the solo guy JIMIN??? Can’t wait to watch it …. Bts’s vocal line is just as dope as rap line …. Hope u enjoy these gems 💜
Im 40 & I grew up listening to Backstreet Boys & NSync and i like them but I totally agree that BTS would est them alive in all dance & music category… 😂💜
I'm 44 yr old mom. I once love the boy band era of backstreet boys and i still love them. And id never thought I'll dive into BTS until this pandemic. I knew them already (2017) because of my nieces. So i thought they are just for kids. Once you fell on their rabbit hole you'll love them deeply in all ways. Their music, lyrics, dance, talent, personality, visuals etc. Plus their company did a good job on taking care of them.
Haha I love your guys' sense of humor. I gotchu on more BTS songs that aren't as rap heavy, let me know if you want them or chat will just give them to you. Thank you for being you and the reactions! Also 6:06 8th member of BTS maybe? ahha
"Why didn't y'all tell us about this one?" Welllll, they do have over 230 songs including individual solo projects. Lemme just say this... listen to all their songs! OH and watch all their mv's and dance practice vids too 😌
I also mentioned most likely ARMY did mentioned it. They were just focused on the solo rap line and/or rap line. I say this because this songs is always mentioned when giving recommendations, especially to rap fans (it is like the top three songs to recommend lol). 🤷♀️
Small correction. Total is 337 songs as of 7th Oct 2022. (I haven't included solo album- Jack In the Box in this list) ☆- this symbol indicates all tracks or instrumentals am not going to count into grand total KOREAN: •15 albums- 7+10+10+14+9+9+11+15+18+9+11+9+7+20+7=166 songs. • Extras in Special Addition Album- 2 songs •Bts World Ost, tracklist-6 (☆- instrumentals list-8) •Anthology Album releases- 3 (new)+Born singer+13 (Demo/Acapella)= 17 SINGLES: •My Universe+ My Universe Suga remix= 2 (☆- total versions-6) •Dynamite •Butter •PTD COLLABS (ads, osts, Co production/written/composed ie. Thus, Grand Total- 166+6+2+17+2+3+43+9+6+25+13+45=337
Umm...how are you counting that? I mean...group, solo, collabs, OST's, covers, unit songs, and even their commercials? (Because, you know, BTS can't just record a 15-30 second sound bite when they do a commercial, they have to do an *almost* full-length song for them! LOL Well, other than McD's, anyway.) Oh, and I mean not just the group and solo ones from albums, but their solo SoundCloud releases they did as well. They have around 1,000 songs total. Wait...do Jungkook's "mini concerts" when he goes Live count, too? If so...we're in trouble! LOL (Seriously, I have NO idea how many songs he's actually sang over the years. I actually tried counting once...it didn't end well. My fault. Didn't think there were that many. Tried doing them all in one day.) Ohhhhh....what about Run eps.? When they break out the karaoke machine? At least there aren't NEARLY as many as of those as there are of Kook's Lives, but they are often full songs in the episodes. That might take them a while if they listen to ALL of them. Even JUST sticking to group, solo, OST's, and collabs. (Though I'd love to see them watching/listening to some of the covers and units, too.)
Loved the reaction. You guys are slowly becoming one of my favorite reactors. There's still a lot you need to check out and you'll see that BTS as a group is so amazing. Their discography is so diverse and I'm sure it's gonna get even more difficult to pick your favorite as you go. Now you know how armys feel lol. My guess for next solo is Jimin definitely!
You’re right, they can do it all! 😜 glad you’re enjoying your BTS dive with an OT7 song 🥰 remember your Outro Tear live performance you guys watched? The one where hobi looked fiiiiinne in his Dior fit. what’s crazy to think about is that the rap line immediately transitioned from that Outro Tear performance directly into a Mic Drop performance with the rest of the members. And they killed it. I know you guys prefer lyric videos so you can focus on the lyrics, so thank you for watching the music video to make us happy 💜 if you guys have any interest in their dance practice videos, their dance practice for mic drop is amazing. You know, with all your extra spare time you have posting daily reactions and life in general 🤣 Looking forward to your next reaction 💜
TBH, I feel like something magical happens when all 7 members are together. I'm glad you're starting to delve into the tracks that feature the whole group.
Jungkook! Our sweet golden maknae(youngest), Jin the eldest, most beautiful and one who lowers the stress of the whole group, and V our unique little angle/tiger/alien who doesnt care what you think, he is amazing. Each member is amazing. I know our biases catch our attention but the more I know the more I appreciate that bts is 7.
Fun reaction! I’m 39 huge boy band junkie since the 80s! New Edition Boys 2 Men Back Street Boys One Direction so many to name and when I discovered BTS after watching Butter I was blown away, I thought I had seen it all when it came to boy bands but woah! As I dove deeper into BTS I became also a fan of there message of positivity and them as humans, and there work ethic is insane! They are in a league All There own! I can’t wait to keep watching your BTS journey!
I remember watching all MIC DROP live performances cause the choreography is freaking amazing and they sounds even better when live. I love how J-Hope started the song with that kind of choreography. Another banger song of them with an MV is "NOT TODAY"
I am a 30+ woman who just kinda vibed along with BSB, never really was a fan of boy bands at the height of boy band era, but BTS always eat it all and leave absolutely no crumbs. You only speak the truth on that! Also there is only one bad song of BTS and it's probably not even their fault, their entire discography absolutely kills!
I'm a Happy 58 yr old Aussie lady who LOVES BTS!!!! My gateway into BTS was MIC Drop (Steve Aoki) REMIX back in 2017, which my daughter now almost 29 years old showed me the MV as she knows I love hip hop and rap music from the 80s/90s such as Bel Bev Devoe, Heavy D & the boys, C & C, Naughty by Nature, NWA, Public Enemy, Jodeci, Easy E and so many more. With BTS I was totally blown away by their talent straight away. They are so different to any boyband I knew and I am so glad I ventured down their AMAZING very LARGE Rabbit hole!! Like many other ARMY we are dedicated and protective. I have been watching your journey so far quietly. I will gladly subscribe just to watch you discover for yourself why BTS are BULLET PROOF BOYSCOUTS! Great reaction!!
Age 50+ here, and a HUGE BTS fan!!! Thanks to my daughter, I have fallen deep into the rabbit hole. Mic Drop is a fav of mine, but I don't know if I could pick a top 10 list, let alone a top song by these guys. They are 1000% my favorite group! Their concerts are incredible! Sitting in a stadium with 70,000 BTS fans (some with walkers, some with canes, some on motorized wheelchairs), seeing all age groups, all races, men/women, all together to enjoy the message of BTS - it's a magical moment. Everybody should see these guys live in concert at least once in their lives...enjoyed your reaction! Please react to more BTS...try Dope, Baepsae dance practice, Blood Sweat & Tears, Black Swan, Butter, and DNA for starters. There is a LOT of BTS to choose from...
Same here. So hard to pick the best song because everytime you hear another song by BTS, it’s a new favourite. I’ve resolved that I’m gonna stop trying-it’s all the best 😊
I can't wait for you guys to watch live performances. They are SO GOOD. You can feel the energy even just from the videos. Also RUN BTS episodes... It's nice to go on this BTS World journey with you guys...Keep exploring...💜
As a 30 year old woman, I can honestly say I loved Backstreet Boys back in the day. BTS is on a whole other level. The talent is unreal. No competition!! 🔥
Grew up with bsb and nsync but a proud army in my late 30’s coz they not even close to BTS!!!! Great reaction btw and we totally get it when u can’t choose a fav bts song 💜
I am 51 and before I discovered Kpop i was a rock/metal fan now I have to say I listen to Kpop only (though its Kpop it does cover many genres of music, even rock). V from BTS is the sole reason I began listening to Kpop and I think idols are so much better than western musicians, but that is because they put their whole lives into it, many from young ages, and they train long hours everyday on top of school, or other schedules so they can be this good. because you cannot say they're not good at what they do. BTS worked super hard to be where they are and it definitely shows.
Bts is like no other group. No comparison possible. They can sing, they can dance, they connect with the audience, they love what they do because they come across as genuinely wanting to entertain you and to put you in a great mood. The lyrics are meaningful, are a work of art. There is no group like BTS…and we the ARMY recognize all of that. They do it all with passion and they are hardworking, just look at their perfect dance routines. That is the reason we love them back.
Finally! I was waiting for a OT7 song reaction! 💜 I love Mic Drop too but I have to agree that Outro: Tear is just one of their best songs!! It's literally one of my favorites. Actually Mic Drop is one of their best songs too lmao . It's honestly really hard to pick favorites or rank them since they have so many songs, all bops and so different. I have a feeling that you guys will love their oldest songs a lot and the ones that have similar vibes to this one (like really hype) Can't wait for your reactions to more OT7 songs, the vocal line songs and their solo songs. You will notice what each member bring to the table and how versatile they can be!
Absolutely love y’all reaction and BTS journey! I am a Backstreet Boys fan but I 10000% agree with y’all lmao I would highly suggest BTS Room FESTA 2021 live performance. It’s a medley of some of their older and newer tracks
... tasteless ratatouille will never get old ... one of the most iconic Sua´s line . Yes, it is ok to state BTS are not a typical boy band. They are men and they are 7, thats where similarity ends. I was never into band boy genre but those guys stole my heart and I can´t imagine a single day without them... so much music, so much content, so much fun, so much things that pull you in, make you think... for me they are not just a musical act either, they incorporated philosophy, psychology, various areas of arts and so many other things into their sphere of action and influence. They are trend setting, boundaries breaking but always kind, humble and inspiring. Before I fell in love with BTS, I didn´t care about pop and boy bands. Before I fell in love with Suga, I didn´t care about hip hop and rapping ( I grew up with heavy metal and rock), before I fell in love with Jungkook´s voice and talent, the only vocalist I could feel genuine admiration for was Dimash.... those guys are beyond special and if you are open minded they will most definitely change your life for better.
I'm a 50+ year old women and also loved my boy bands back in the day and my metal groups too but BTS is in a category all by themselves. They were first k pop group to really peak my interest in k pop and it's all I listen to on the daily now.
I am 30+ woman and Backstreet boys were my fav boyband growing up.. never had a fav boy band after that...until I discovered bts back in 2016...so i totally get what you mean !! :) Kudos on discovering them.. they have hit basically every genre so there would definitely be some music in their discography that you will surely resonate with if not all :)
I'm 41. 3 yrs ago, this song pulled me to BTS. In my cardio playlist since then. Been a fan of plenty of artists, but BTS is different. I've decided to "adopt" them as my sons because they're far more special.
66 year old Army born and raised in Los Angeles listening to all genres of music. I haven’t seen many artists, no matter where they’re from, better than these guys. The DJ was Steve Aoki, famous in his own right. Since you think they’re dope, listen to one of their earlier songs-Dope. 👍🏿💜💜🔮!
You still have to hear Baepsae, Idol, On-Kenetic Manifesto, Ugh, House of Cards, The Truth Untold, Airplane part 2, Anpanman, Trivia: Her, Love, Blood Sweet and Tears... They have 400 songs in their catalogue. The ones above are a decent start, and you're just getting started.
This is my fave of your reactions so far. I enjoy reactors just vibin to the music. It multiplies the enjoyment for everyone methinks. In the same vein as Mic Drop (hype song), i'd like to recommend Not Today. Have a great day, guys!
This song was my first intro to BTS - and I think you get why I was instantly hooked even though I never listened to hip-hop or rap prior (alt-rock only, for me!) Just like you said - they are doing it all: singing, rapping, dancing... and doing it at a level no one else can reach. Even though I was too old to ever get into NSync and others when they were big, I still was aware of them and knew BTS was way beyond them in talent so it also bugs me when ppl limit BTS' talent to 'just another boyband' so THANK YOU for admitting that's a mistake.
52 y.o. metalhead here, never in pop nor a devoted fan of any, but these dudes won me over since the first mv I randomly watched. I'm a proud army since 2015.
you guys crack me up! this is the second reaction vid of yours ive seen. the first was the 3racha reaction! (big stray kids fan here (STAY))...i am also in my 30's and was a huge bsb and nsync fan and i agree bts can chew and spit them out! Im a new bts fan since i got into kpop a bit later but everything ive heard ive thoroughly enjoyed. I just subscribed, your reaction videos are entertaining!
30+ yo ARMY here…I listened to mostly hip hop/rap but when BTS found me, I was hooked. BTS is the complete package, they sing, rap, dance, they produce and write their own music. They are humble and they love ARMY. You can’t compare them. Looking forward to your OT7 journey 💜
Finallyyyyy. I have been waiting for this one. If I was forced to rank my favourites I would say Outro: Tear for the rap line, The Truth Untold for the vocal line, and Mic Drop for the group. Obviously, the first vocal line solo is going to be Jimin. Now the only question is which song?? If I had to guess I would say Serendipity, though I have a slight preference for Filter (live stage of that is amazing, soo much swag). Can't wait either way. Thanks for another great reaction.
Mic Drop is my 4th fave BTS song... but if I'm to say my 1st to 3rd, I still cant figure out which. ( solo s, rap line n vocal line not included yet) Their song are just so relatable, inspiring, genderless n ageless n mostly my 14 year old daughter n I can both listen to BTS. I like you reaction videos, they are fun to watch. Thank you for reacting to BTS.
I hope you will consider watching Taylor's Introduction to BTS. It's the most up-to-date intro & then Xceleste Introduction is also a great one. It might give you a better understanding of who the members are, who the group is, & why ARMY holds them so close to the chest.
Another great reaction! I loved all the Boy bands and you're right, they just don't compare. This group has so much diversity! Just when you think you've got them figured out they surprise you with something completely different. Mic Drop was the song that really hooked me with BTS. The live performance of this song with all the dance breaks is on a whole other level. Worth a watch for sure. 🙂
teeny tiny baby steps into the rest of their discography 🤣I can see from the videos ahead you basically went through every single rapline song in existence. That's awesome, but then you don't get any savory rapline to discover further down the line. Loving the progression though! If I remember right this is your first time seeing them dance! what animals.
I'm 32 and grew up with BSB, nsync and b2k...BTS outperforms all of them. I'm hoping it's Jimin because it's his birthday month! Yea it's hard to pick your favourite BTS song.
I am 35 and grew up in the golden age of boy bands like BSB, NSYNC, 98 Degrees, Westlife, etc etc etc. I thought they were just so amazing and innovative. We all wanted to know the Bye Bye Bye dance. And oh boy. I didn't know what to think when I searched BTS for the first time, but they blew my naive mind. They are just the FULL package. You couldn't put a single other "boy band" against them and them not embarrass those poor guys so bad. Without even trying. Yeah. They are just IT.
Awww, so so happie to see full ot7 song reaction from you ... And I am also happie that u liked it !!! The guy in the start is Steve Aoki :) well keep on reacting to the other BTS songs ... You guys will like them !!! And react to Baepsae stage mix too ! Fighting
They taught me to love my life. Learned to talk with confidence. I'm beautiful no matter what I look like. I'm not perfect but very pretty. No one is perfect, you have to be perfect at work. You have to dream and realize your dreams. Losing is not the end. I have learned thousands of such positive messages from their songs and their speeches.💜💜💜
The younger me would have said that the Backstreet Boys are the best and the current 2022 me who started following BTS in 2017 would say that they are the best but i think that's just the beauty of time and music evolving. Even now, when I come across a Backstreet or N'Sync song it just brings back happy memories for THAT particular time of my life which is why I will always appreciate them. BTS are definitely doing what needs to be done present day!!! Anyways great reaction fellas!!!!!!
If you listen to all of their song you won’t be able to pick a fav one cuz all of their songs are really good specially to their dark&wild album and 2 cool for skool album
I am a 30+ year old woman and someone who loved Backstreet Boys, and I agree that BTS would chew them up. Facts are facts.
Facts!!!
I will also take a moment to appreciate THE KIM NAMJOON in your profile pic. Hot damn.
For sure. I´m a 49 year old who saw every boy band out there, not only in the English speaking countries but in the Spanish speaking music too (there were many good bands out there). BTS is something of their own. They have it all.
@@AbyssEnthusiast Couldn't agree more.
@@AbyssEnthusiast That is the loml.
Every ARMY's biggest problem, we can't pick a favorite song either. Most of us can't even pick a top 10. Lol
We have a top +350 🤣 soon to be more. If Kid Laroi and Hobi is legit I'm done. No ill be done with RM Jk and Pharrell too... wait ✋ and twt army punching me in the face with D3 😶🤪 how do we survive their "break?"

I agree. Also they have great acting skills which is why so many of their videos make visual sense. They couldn’t do that without great lyrics.
Totally agree, I'm a 39 year old woman and I don't think anyone is on their level... They put in the work and clawed their way to the top!
I am 49 year old army these kids are my happiness ❤❤❤♥️♥️♥️ they are soooo talented I love them😍😍
I'm 34yo ang bangtanies are my babies ❤️
Yeah, a 49 year old ARMY here. I have seen Metallica, Pink Floyd, Rush, and Nirvana Live. I have gone to 2 BTS concerts and they are in a league of their own. I never thought anyone could beat Pink Floyd but BTS performance is on a different level. I never thought I would ever like a "boy band" but I don't put them in that category. They are their own situation.
61 yo (now purple blooded) rocker grandma here as well. 💯 agree with your statement! Rush 2112 is one of my all time favorites, btw.
At 56 the biggest artist I've seen live was David Bowie (Glass Spider tour) and BTS has it beat hands down! 💜
Rapline and vocal line are great at what they do. Its amazing that they all blend together so well.
All the members in bts are incredible it's not the rap line or the vocal line they all bring something to the table we love them all so much
Oh man, my dudes.
Not today😍😍
So true! 😁💜
Agree❤️❤️👍
Borahae 💜
It was meant to be 💜😉
36 year old here.
75 year old Army here! I have loved all types of music since the day I was born. BTS is definitely in a league of their own! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
1. this version in English with Steve Aoki
2. All Korean
3. Japanese version (has it's own MV)
4. One with Desiigner
My guess on the singer is Jimin for his Bday. I haven't been "following per se"- but I know ARMY and what we demand, lol.
Mic Drop featuring Desiigner is straight fire!!!!
And version with Steve Aoki has two versions: full with two dance breaks and short (MV's one)
Raised on metal, hip hop and classic rock. I’m 35 and a mother of two. BTS holds a special place in my music heart for a damn good reason.
Oooh there’s also their early songs such as No more dream, we are bulletproof pt2, danger, and dope
You definitely need to hear Hip Hop Phile (or sometimes credited as Hip Hop Lover), a song in which they pay homage to hip hop culture and mention the rap artists that have influenced them the most throughout their lives. An incredible song!
As a 40+ year old ARMY, who was all over NKOTB and Nsync back in my younger years. I agree BTS by far is the greatest group ever hands down. 💜
People usually find funny the "ratatouille" line but it really makes sense since they use many "food" references in the song
Starting with JHope's verse, mentioning "undercooked steaks" (immature/ arrogant jerks)
In his verse Suga says "In our concerts there isn't a empty seat", a direct translation will be “in our concerts there never is a grape.” Grapes is a slang for empty seats since remaining seats are colored purple when you purchase tickets online
Also in the last verse they say "we taste sharp like cola" also meaning “we diss sharply like cola.”
Why the food lines? I guess is because JHope starts the song and in his first line he mentions the "spoon class theory" ( individuals classified into different socioeconomic classes/ spoon classes) the term might be based on the English idiom "born with a silver spoon in one's mouth" meaning one's success in life depends entirely on being born into a wealthy family. Jhope says he doesn't care if he is a "Dirty Spoon" (lowest class) bc he beats up many "Gold Spoons" just with holding a mic
BTS have a song called "Baepsae" also known as "Silver spoon" that is about the spoon classes and the socioeconomic problems that today's youth faces, is an old song but you should check it out!
Well all 30+ ladies are now purple blooded i bet!!! Great reaction u got a new sub… also is the solo guy JIMIN??? Can’t wait to watch it …. Bts’s vocal line is just as dope as rap line …. Hope u enjoy these gems 💜
Hey! They'll be having a concert on Oct 15 with live streaming to see what they can do on a live performance. 😉
He is not rm he is Steve aoki I can't 😭

Umm...how are you counting that?
I mean...group, solo, collabs, OST's, covers, unit songs, and even their commercials? (Because, you know, BTS can't just record a 15-30 second sound bite when they do a commercial, they have to do an *almost* full-length song for them! LOL Well, other than McD's, anyway.)
Oh, and I mean not just the group and solo ones from albums, but their solo SoundCloud releases they did as well.
Tried doing them all in one day.)
Ohhhhh....what about Run eps.?
You know, with all your extra spare time you have posting daily reactions and life in general 🤣
Looking forward to your next reaction 💜
The gentleman you see first is Steve Aoki, the producer of this mix version. He also known as a DJ.
Yow. Thanks for reacting. Hmmm how about Cypher 4, Ugh, and BTS festa 2021 next
Oh Hangsang by Jhope too!
Same here. So hard to pick the best song because everytime you hear another song by BTS, it’s a new favourite. I’ve resolved that I’m gonna stop trying-it’s all the best 😊
Hates gonna hate and players gonna play 💜
I have a feeling that you guys will love their oldest songs a lot and the ones that have similar vibes to this one (like really hype)
Can't wait for your reactions to more OT7 songs, the vocal line songs and their solo songs. You will notice what each member bring to the table and how versatile they can be!
These boys broke MJ and the Beatles records, Mic drop lol!
Absolutely love y’all reaction and BTS journey! I am a Backstreet Boys fan but I 10000% agree with y’all lmao I would highly suggest BTS Room FESTA 2021 live performance. It’s a medley of some of their older and newer tracks
52 yr old ARMY here. This is your first reaction I ran across and I am happy you gave Mic Drop a listen. It's powerful!
... tasteless ratatouille will never get old ... one of the most iconic Sua´s line .
👏👏👏 Another good reaction. Love seeing you guys vibin' to our guys! Mic Drop is one of my favorites. ON: Kinetic Manifesto is another 🔥🔥🔥
I'm a 50+ year old women and also loved my boy bands back in the day and my metal groups too but BTS is in a category all by themselves.
Don't compare them to any other boy groups, they are in a higher level!
yeah!!!! I'm a BSB fan since middle school ( 2007) n I love them but BTS is on another level.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Can not wait for the next video guys! I really enjoy your BTS reactions, keep up the great work!
You guys are killin it! Keep up the great discography, you won't be disappointed 💜
This song was my first intro to BTS - and I think you get why I was instantly hooked even though I never listened to hip-hop or rap prior (alt-rock only, for me!)
Just like you said - they are doing it all: singing, rapping, dancing... and doing it at a level no one else can reach. Even though I was too old to ever get into NSync and others when they were big, I still was aware of them and knew BTS was way beyond them in talent so it also bugs me when ppl limit BTS' talent to 'just another boyband' so THANK YOU for admitting that's a mistake.
Loving your journey down BTS rabbit hole. Suggestions for group mvs; Idol, Dope, Fire, Not Today or Fake Love.
If you would probably like no more dreams, bulletproof pt2, NO, not today, danger, and boy in love! Loved the reaction!
52 y.o. metalhead here, never in pop nor a devoted fan of any, but these dudes won me over since the first mv I randomly watched. I'm a proud army since 2015.
Mic Drop was the song that got me into them 2 years ago. Its dear to my heart and it slaps
Glad that y’all are starting to do the tracks with all the members ! Please do Dionysus one day
U should definitely watch the live performance of Mic drop.....its a must! Nd the dance practice is the cherry on the top of whole mic drop’
you guys crack me up! this is the second reaction vid of yours ive seen. the first was the 3racha reaction!
Welcome aboard!
They're a complete package of everything 💜
FINALLY!!!!!
i‘ve been waiting for this one ever since you guys started your bts journey😩🔥🔥🔥
40+ woman here and BTS is leagues above those other groups.
38 y.o here and this is one of the songs that cemented me in this rabbit hole 💜
So fun! Thank you! I can’t wait to see the solo coming up 😆 this and Not Today are songs for my idgaf days heh
Yes I've been waiting for this one! Thank you for the reaction, love u!
Also I hope the solo is V's singularity but I wouldn't bet on it hahahaha.
Mic Drop Live with the dance break is really worth watching too! Like their SNL performance :) React to Not Today MV and Live too :)
I have learned thousands of such positive messages from their songs and their speeches.💜💜💜
you have to see the live performance of mic drop with the dance break ( mama 2017) its FIRE
42 year old Army and loving it 💜
If you listen to all of their song you won’t be able to pick a fav one cuz all of their songs are really good specially to their dark&wild album and 2 cool for skool album
Great song choice!! Enjoying watching you through the journey. Welcome aboard, it's a fun ride!
I'm 28 and my mom 54 and we obsesses about them since 2016
