Me personally Jhope is my favorite rapper from BTS. Like his delivery is always solid and like you Cypher 3 was lit. His track 'Baseline', 'Arson', 'Hangsang', '1Verse', Jhope is straight heat to not come from a rap background.

Dope was the song that really took me down the rabbit hole of BTS (of course I've seen other MV's, but every time I saw them singing Dope I went crazy and couldn't resist). I love it when people enjoy their music because of how lyrically appealing it is and the beats they come up with are literally what lock you in, but what is really the cherry on top is their choreo. They are talented in many different aspects and have worked hard to be where they are today. I love that you guys dig deep into their music and performances because it gives you a good insight into how they have evolved since then. I think you guys would like Black Swan, it is a bit different from what you have been seeing but I promise you will not be disappointed. Also I suggest watching the MV first and then the dance practice right after because in the dance practices you get their full performances that are replicated on stage. There are plenty of other songs I want to suggest but I bet you guys have already gotten a ton. 😂

this really is a Dope song!! i would recommend checking out ‘Dionysus’, you will NOT be disappointed. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend the live performance it’s incredible. but, maybe watch the live performance after listening to the studio version first to really get the full experience!!

What you guys got yourselves into is just one rabbit hole (the rapping aspects) of many rabbit holes that is BTS. You could also go into the BTS universe, the themes and storylines and their overall message and the lyricism in their songs. You could explore their various choreos and single dances. You could just concentrate on the concerts and performanes which are phenomenal by themselves. You could explore the many solo works by each of the members etc.

Last week Jin released his farewell song The Astronaut written by Coldplay and produced by Kygo. Army has a saying regarding the 3 rappers: RM analyzes the world. Suga criticizes the world and Jhope visualizes the world. If you pay attention to their lyrics, while all of them are full social commentaries, RMs lyrics are more philosophical, Suga’ are more biting and sugarcoats less, and Jhope’s are more optimistic.

3:50 in my personal opinion, it's not like they dressed them up for halloween. those suits represent something, the outfits are people who work day and night like doctors (jin) plane pilots (suga), etc. So, they go according to the lyrics of the song "I worked day and night while you were in clubs, so don't be surprised, that's why we have fire". That is what i think.

I've heard this before and like it...Joon (RM) raps with his brain. Yoongi raps with his soul and Hobi with his heart. I gravitated towards RMs rap first. Then Yoongi. Then JHope. Now I love and appreciate all in different ways for different reasons and what each can make me feel.

Hey again Monika.. I don't think they are underestimating J hope. Some people just tend to like a particular artist in general. I was never a rap fine myself. I hated rap once. So I have no idea abt Rap. For me BTS rap is the standard. Maybe RM's style of rapping is what they like the most which is fine. Even Jhope said he loves Namjoon's rapping style personally. So everyone can have a bias n it's okay . Atleast they are respectful unlike some other.
Hope you guys can get into watching solo stuff from each of them (like the vocal line too) and listen to more songs where they stand out. For a head start I recommend, baepsae (group song), singularity (V solo), My time (jungkook solo), and disease (group song; fire 🔥) Also you guys just NEED to watch the dope, baepsae, fire, run concert medley video. The guys go absolutely crazy, rocking out to the songs, and the live band just makes it sound 10 ten times more crisp (plus its only like 11 mins)

If you haven’t I recommend: -Not Today (one of my favorites live too) -Danger -21 Century Girl -2nd Grade -Like It -Ma City -Paldgangsan (+dkdktv explanation video) Personally I think Jhope and Suga are underrated for you guys lol. However we shall see. Don’t me wrong RM is amazing and top notch rapper. However I think Suga and Jhope are just as good lyricists as RM they just have totally different way of writing. For example: for one of Suga’s solo songs (seesaw) RM on a Vlive talked about how he would have done worldplay with see and saw but Suga did world play by visual description (like showing a picture / Pictionary)… As for Jhope he tends to use quite a bit of Korean wordplay and analogies but also hiding the deep messages through just an upbeat song or upbeat rhythme to his rapping (granted Jhope has had to learn to write because he didn’t rap before BTS)…. I mean no offense to you at all. You can have you own opinions and thoughts and so will I, respectfully. Lol 💜

When I learnt about it, it made an already great verse that much more impressive.

Me personally Jhope is my favorite rapper from BTS. Like his delivery is always solid and like you Cypher 3 was lit. His track 'Baseline', 'Arson', 'Hangsang', '1Verse', Jhope is straight heat to not come from a rap background.

Dope was the song that really took me down the rabbit hole of BTS (of course I've seen other MV's, but every time I saw them singing Dope I went crazy and couldn't resist). So yeah, Dope was the song that made me really meet the boys and be ARMY. This year it's been a year since I've been ARMY... I wish I could have been sooner, but everything comes at the right time. And that not even Suga ever said: "It doesn't matter how long you will meet us or the date, you matter ARMY'S". And I love them sooooooo much and I fucking admire them. 💜

I love it when people enjoy their music because of how lyrically appealing it is and the beats they come up with are literally what lock you in, but what is really the cherry on top is their choreo. They are talented in many different aspects and have worked hard to be where they are today. I love that you guys dig deep into their music and performances because it gives you a good insight into how they have evolved since then.
I think you guys would like Black Swan, it is a bit different from what you have been seeing but I promise you will not be disappointed. Also I suggest watching the MV first and then the dance practice right after because in the dance practices you get their full performances that are replicated on stage.

What you guys got yourselves into is just one rabbit hole (the rapping aspects) of many rabbit holes that is BTS. You could also go into the BTS universe, the themes and storylines and their overall message and the lyricism in their songs. You could explore their various choreos and single dances. You could just concentrate on the concerts and performanes which are phenomenal by themselves. You could explore the many solo works by each of the members etc.

It's a heartfelt ballad so not sure if it's your thing but last Friday he debuted the song live during Coldplay's concert in Argentina, and I'm telling you the love between Jin and Chris Martin (extending to Coldplay & BTS) - there was not a dry eye in the house 🥺

Army has a saying regarding the 3 rappers: RM analyzes the world. Suga criticizes the world and Jhope visualizes the world. If you pay attention to their lyrics, while all of them are full social commentaries, RMs lyrics are more philosophical, Suga’ are more biting and sugarcoats less, and Jhope’s are more optimistic.

3:50 in my personal opinion, it's not like they dressed them up for halloween. those suits represent something, the outfits are people who work day and night like doctors (jin) plane pilots (suga), etc. So, they go according to the lyrics of the song "I worked day and night while you were in clubs, so don't be surprised, that's why we have fire". That is what i think.

I've heard this before and like it...Joon (RM) raps with his brain. Yoongi raps with his soul and Hobi with his heart. I gravitated towards RMs rap first. Then Yoongi. Then JHope. Now I love and appreciate all in different ways for different reasons and what each can make me feel.
Don't sleep on the man j-hope. He is INSANE rapper. Like he has hiw own rap style ... He can be any style of rap as he please cuz he major talented.
It really hurts when people underestimate jhope's ray and style i love rap line specially jhope his verses in every songs are dope i wish them to listen his solo work and other BTS songs where they can truly appreciate him

Hey again Monika.. I don't think they are underestimating J hope. Some people just tend to like a particular artist in general. I was never a rap fine myself. I hated rap once. So I have no idea abt Rap. For me BTS rap is the standard. Maybe RM's style of rapping is what they like the most which is fine. Even Jhope said he loves Namjoon's rapping style personally. So everyone can have a bias n it's okay . Atleast they are respectful unlike some other.
It was my first BTS song and they got me. It is old and yet is feels so fresh.
Hope you guys can get into watching solo stuff from each of them (like the vocal line too) and listen to more songs where they stand out. For a head start I recommend, baepsae (group song), singularity (V solo), My time (jungkook solo), and disease (group song; fire 🔥)
Also you guys just NEED to watch the dope, baepsae, fire, run concert medley video. The guys go absolutely crazy, rocking out to the songs, and the live band just makes it sound 10 ten times more crisp (plus its only like 11 mins)

Personally I think Jhope and Suga are underrated for you guys lol. However we shall see. Don’t me wrong RM is amazing and top notch rapper. However I think Suga and Jhope are just as good lyricists as RM they just have totally different way of writing. For example: for one of Suga’s solo songs (seesaw) RM on a Vlive talked about how he would have done worldplay with see and saw but Suga did world play by visual description (like showing a picture / Pictionary)…
As for Jhope he tends to use quite a bit of Korean wordplay and analogies but also hiding the deep messages through just an upbeat song or upbeat rhythme to his rapping (granted Jhope has had to learn to write because he didn’t rap before BTS)….
I mean no offense to you at all. You can have you own opinions and thoughts and so will I, respectfully. Lol 💜
