Assalamu Halaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Taala Wa Barakatuhu Akhi, May Allah SWT Bless You And Your Close Ones And Put You And Your Close Ones Into The Highest Ranks Of Jannatul Firdous, ameen thuma ameen, btw, As A Sunni Brother, I love you for showing this, and to explain to you the Aliyun Waliullah means "Indeed, Ali RA Is Allah's SWT Friend" , and second of all, there's no Type Of Islam or sects of Islam, because Allah SWT says in his Holy Quran at 6:159 to not devide our religion because it's the truth, and to be honest, from a shia or Sunni perspective, we regard eachother as Disbelievers (not wholestically though in the Sunni side because some shias are ignorant about the truth and Allah SWT will test them inaccordingly to those who Disbelieved), Sunnis totally agree that Rafidha Shias (Disbelieving Shias) are disbelievers (again not all, just those Who Disbelieved in True Islam, i.e Sunnah) and Shia scholars do the same, I actually advise you to watch a channel called SunniDefense , it might seem biased by only reading the name, but it's amazing and provides proofs, and one additional matter, yes you did cite one of the major differences between Shi'iyya and Sunnah , but there are more crucial differences, like Imamah (An Article Of Shia Faith Based Upon Believing That 12 Imams [Leaders] Came Chosen Divinely By Allah SWT To Guide The Ummah [Islamic Community] Btw They Are Godly Because In Shia Ahadith And Scholarly Opinion, It's Clearly Said That The 12 Imams Know The Unseen, Can Control Atoms And Are Higher Than The Prophets AS) And Also The Acceptance Of Ahlul Bayt ( The Shia Interpretation Of This Says That It Means The Family Of Ali RA And His Family [Not The Prophet SAW btw, only The Wife Of Ali RA, Fatima RA and there children Hasan And Husayn RA ) which are majorly deifed with the participational belief that The Major Companions Which Were Muhammed SAW's Best Of Friends are majorly rejected and called Apostates, like Abu Bakr Sidiq, Umar Bin Khatab, Uthman Ibn Afan RA , and many other differences (btw the source are found in shia books like Al-Kafi [Major Hadith Book Of Shism] and Scholars, which you can clearly see at Sunni Defense) btw these are most of the shias, I.e Twelvers . An Importantly Added Matter is that as sunnis, we should consider those who disobeyed and rejected the Message Of Muhammed SAW And The Quran to be Disbelievers, samely is applied for Shias Jews Or Christians, but if someone is ignorant about the message, you obviously shouldn't call them that, because they're ignorant, and remember what Allah SWT said in his Quran : "And We did not send any messenger except [speaking] in the language of his people to state clearly for them, and Allah sends astray [thereby] whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise" (14:4) Stay Safe And Assalamu Halaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Taala Wa Barakatuhu .

Truely Islam has no Shia-Sunni. Those are true muslims, who are following Allah and his messenger. Others are not in the right path. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said Muslims will devide into 73. But all will go to hell except one. And this one is who were followed Allah and his messenger. So don’t be devide from each other. Be only Muslim. Allah says in the Quran, chapter number 3, verse number 103:

وَ اعۡتَصِمُوۡا بِحَبۡلِ اللّٰہِ جَمِیۡعًا وَّ لَا تَفَرَّقُوۡا ۪ وَ اذۡکُرُوۡا نِعۡمَتَ اللّٰہِ عَلَیۡکُمۡ اِذۡ کُنۡتُمۡ اَعۡدَآءً فَاَلَّفَ بَیۡنَ قُلُوۡبِکُمۡ فَاَصۡبَحۡتُمۡ بِنِعۡمَتِہٖۤ اِخۡوَانًا ۚ وَ کُنۡتُمۡ عَلٰی شَفَا حُفۡرَۃٍ مِّنَ النَّارِ فَاَنۡقَذَکُمۡ مِّنۡہَا ؕ کَذٰلِکَ یُبَیِّنُ اللّٰہُ لَکُمۡ اٰیٰتِہٖ لَعَلَّکُمۡ تَہۡتَدُوۡنَ ﴿۱۰۳﴾

And remember the favor of Allah upon you - when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers. And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be guided.❞

The part of ashadu ana aliyun wali allah is not wajib in the adhan but can be said. Without that adhan is still correct but without haya ala khayril amal adhan is not correct.

Hi, sort of unrelated to the call to prayer but the Hagia Sophia is over 1500 years old. It was built by the eastern Roman ( Byzantine) emperor Justinian as the main cathedral and basilica of the Byzantine empire and at one time was the tallest and largest building on earth! It was converted to a Mosque by Mehmed II when he conquered Constantinople( Istanbul) in the 1400s. It was the main Mosque of the Ottoman Empire until the Blue Mosque was built in 1600s. It was a Museum until last year and is now a Mosque again. Fun fact: during the Ottoman Empire, many mosques were built and architects copied the Hagia Sophia design - Hence why so many orthodox churches domes look a lot like the domes of many Mosques in countries that used to be a part of the Ottoman Empire.
Cool to learn about the call to prayer differences - and the traditions of other faiths! Im just only learning more about the differences within Islam itself. Sort of reminds me of how the Catholic and Orthodox Christians also couldn’t decide who was going to the leader lol. It also teaches me that Islam and other religions have diversity yet still can find common ground and respect for another!

@Muscle Man the problem we have is with Abu Bakr becoming Caliph by force with the help of a few Arab elites and taking that right from Imam Ali(as) as was very clearly said in Ghadeer Khumm especially when Abu Bakr himself said "Today you have become the master(Mawla) of all believing men and women". Also by taking Sayyida Fatimah(as)'s land that was her rightful inheritance, the Abu Bakr made up a lie that the Prophet(SAW) said that we Prophets don't give inheritance but we give sadqa, which Imam Ali(as) responded by reciting Qur'an verses about sons of Prophets inheriting from their fathers. We also really don't appreciate when Abu Bakr ordered Umar and Khalid bin Al-Waleed to get Bay'a from Sayyida Fatimah(as) and if she refused to kill her, which then resulted in Umar threatening to burn down the house of Sayyida Fatimah(as) and then kicking the door which fell of her, crushing her ribs and the miscarriage of her unborn child Muhsin bin Ali(as). Also Umar refused to give the Prophet(SAW) a paper and pen to write down his last will saying he isn't thinking properly(Astaghfur'Alla). Now about us praying on a turbah, it is basically something that comes from the earth and the Prophet(SAW) used to pray from something from the earth(specifically a mat made out of palm tree leaves) also he(SAW) told us to pray from something from the earth, our 6th Imam Ja'afr Al-Sadiq(as), who is the teacher of many important Sunni Imams(such as Imam Hanafi) and other important figures(such as Jaber ibn Ha'yan, the founder of modern day chemistry), told us it is very preferred to pray on a turbah/stone that comes from the holy land of Karbala.

Ricky Des Safry if you know Arabic watch ذو الفقار المغربي he proves the killing of Sayyida Fatimah(as), from YOUR books, proves Aisha's hatred to Imam Ali(as) again from your books, Abu Bakr and Umar(along with others)'s attempted assassination from your books and much much more things, oh yeah he was previously a Sunni so he pretty much found out about Shi'aism and knows the lies in Sunnism and their books pretty well. I really can't be bothered to write an essay on how Abu Bakr and Umar betrayed the Prophet(SAW) and the killing of the Sayyida Fatimah(as) and all the crimes they committed and provide all the sources, I don't have time for that. If you want to provide me with evidence that Imam Ali(as) actually accepted the Caliphs without force and from a Shi'a narrator and with a solid narration chain then feel free.

@@blueskyy43 Salaam Alaykum, Shia scholars don’t consider Ashadu An Aliyan Wali Allah as part of the Adhan. It is a true statement that goes in line with the the Quranic verse 5:55
إِنَّما وَلِيُّكُمُ اللَّهُ وَ رَسُولُهُ وَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا الَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ الصَّلاةَ وَ يُؤْتُونَ الزَّكاةَ وَ هُمْ راكِعُونَ
When we say it in the adhan we say it as a continuation of Ashadu Ana Muhammadan RasulAllah, just as we say Salawat upon the Prophet anytime the name of RasulAllah is mentioned.
If someone chose not to say it in the Adhan it doesn’t take away from the reward of the Adhan.
However, the person who is asking should be asked this question.
How is it that Haya Ala Khayr al-Amal was taken out of the Adhan during the time of Umar Ibn Khatab and Alsalatu Khayrun min al Nowm inserted for the fajr prayer even though the Prophet did not do so.
Adding a true statement that is not part of the Adhan is not problematic. The problem is erasing statements that are in fact part of the Adhan.

Beautiful Azan guys can you explain to me when prophet live did the Azan include cali or just they added
Firstly "Hala ala khyril amal" means "Come to the best of deeds" and actually was a part of the original adhan as taught to us by the Prophet Muhammad [sawa] according to both Shia and Sunni sources and it wasn't until the second khalifa, Umar Al Khattab, that this line was removed as he (Umar) personally believed that Jihad was the best of deeds and this was his tactic to encourage Muslims to pick up Jihad in his time. This is a historical fact, please don't take this as an insult, this is from a purely academic point of view. Secondly "Ashhadu aliyun wali Allah" means "I bare witness that Ali is the friend of Allah" and "Ashhadu aliyun hujjat Allah" means "I bare witness that Ali is the proof/sign of Allah"... In Shia narrations after the events of Ghadir Khumm (the event at Ghadir Khumm is found in Shia and Sunni narrations I should mention) when the Prophet Muhammad [sawa] appointed Ali ibn Abi Talib [as] as his successor, as the Amirul Mumineen (commander of the faithful) and Khalifa that he (The Prophet [sawa]) commanded Abu Dhar al Ghafari [ra] to recite "Ashhadu aliyun wali Allah" and "Ashhadu aliyun hujjat Allah" after reciting "Ashhadu muhammadan rasul Allah" in the adhan and qiama the reasons being that we are not to praise the Prophet [sawa] without praising Ali [as] because the Prophet [sawa] on numerous occasions refers to Ali [as] as his "nafs" (his own self), so this is one reason why the Ahlul bayt (the Prophets family) is mentioned in the salawat of our Prophet [sawa], "Allahumma sali ala Muhammad wa ala alee Muhammad", "Allah's peace and blessings be upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad". Why is Ali [as] called the "Friend of Allah"? Many people sort of held contempt against Ali [as] and by saying this essentially you are saying that if you are an enemy of Ali [as] than you are an enemy of Allah. Then why do we call Ali [as] the proof/sign of Allah? Because we as Shia accept that Allah [swt] has established a khalifa on this Earth as He foretold to the angels beginning with Adam [as] on through to Imam Mahdi [as], Ali [as] being the first Khalifa of our Ummah and this is a sign of Allah's supremely divine justice and mercy. Ashhadu an Ali'an waliallah means I bear witness that Ali is friend of Allah, Ashhadu an Ali'an Hojjatoallah means I bear witness that Ali is promoter of Allah’s message, Hayya ala khairel amal means Hurry to the best of all actions. Shias believe that the the two first phrases are not originally part of Azan and they recite them only as a Mustahab and if any Shia considers (intents) these two phrases as a main part of Azan, that Azan would not be correct.
