I’ve been in love with Joe Cocker since I wa s13…and I’m 65. Played Ray Charles at my mother’s funeral…what a duo….fills my heart.
Susan!! Me too!!!! And I’m 66! 😂😂😂. I had a 6foot poster of Joe on my wall!! He 😮is absolutely one of a very precious kind of human being. May he rest peace . I hope and pray we get to see him in heaven!!! In Jesus name, amen. 🙏😊

I sang this to my ex-husband at our wedding in 1986. I chose the song as I was nervous and thought if I chose any other song, I'd forget the words. Not this one. "You are so beautiful to me." And that's about it. Still, it is a total classic.

The interesting thing is Joe grew up trying to be like Ray. There's an interview with Billy Joel on tube where he talks about how everyone wanted to sound like Ray, and Joe was the one that came the closest. I'm glad they got to perform together and it's on tube for us to enjoy.
