    I'm seriously worried that TH-cam is reading my mind....only yesterday i was driving through the Lakes and there was a very clean looking Fourtrack parked at the side of the road, same blue as yours, then today this appears in my recommendations ......glad it did, great video, all the best with the project.

    ..... and that kids is how Johnny got the nickname "Mad Johnny!"
    Kudos for pushing on with the project, it is certainly light years ahead of my skill set. 👍

      Thanks Pete, I think I’ll have earned a nickname like that when this is all done and dusted 😂

    Great going Johnny! Really impressed by how patiently you're handling this rust job. It's definitely going to pay off at the end. Really excited for this project.

      Baby steps at the moment but when a project is so massive I find that’s the only way to stay motivated and keep moving!

    well done johnny keep going. the only shame is know one seems to make any repair panels. unless you could point me in the right direction

      Hi Simon, thanks very much! There is a guy on eBay selling repair panels but they are incredibly expensive so be warned! If you search for ‘Daihatsu Fourtrak repair panels’ you will see the range that he has. Hope that helps!

    Wow that’s a big ol rusty job there! How come you don’t use repair panels? Are they just not about for this old girl?

    • @JohnnyGetsCash
      @JohnnyGetsCash  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Kip, there are some panels available but only from one private manufacturer and therefore prices are astronomical for comparably simply panels. With that being the case and the fact that much of the rot that needs repairing here will be hidden from view when finished, I’m more than happy to fabricate the pieces needed. This also gives me the opportunity to amend the design a little and try to reduce the inherent ’mud traps’ that lead to these trucks rusting out so frequently!

      It’s on the way, but given the sheer amount of work being done and also filming / editing several other videos, it’s taking a while to get it out , but it is coming!

    You're giving me nightmares.....
    I dare' t look under my plastic arches 💩💩💩

    • @JohnnyGetsCash
      @JohnnyGetsCash  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry! Take my advice...if you don't need to remove your arches - don't! Nothing good awaits you there! But in all seriousness, if you have concerns and you love the truck enough (or are mad enough), anything can be fixed - as i will hopefully go on to prove in this series!
