Thanks for the video. I’m a larger person, and I would find it hard to sleep on the business class bed

Being 6ft its pretty terrible and not enough room around the shoulders! For a nap, sure. For a full sleep, look elsewhere!

Im going to have to agree with you, nothing worse than the flight that arrives back in Mustralia early from Singapore. I know opt to arrive later in the day, and feel much better for it

I certainly wont be making that mistake again where it can be avoided!

The reward space seats will almost always put you on the early arrival flight tho 😭

In my view mate, no need to put the disclaimer at the start. I’m looking for reviews of business class services, I want all the things you like and don’t like. From that I’ll make my own view as to whether I want to fly them or not. From my personal experience I’ve found SQ business flights to be very good but not the great I was expecting it to be and I found the lounge at Changi to be so busy and loud that after I got my fill of food or drink I look for a quieter place in the airport. All be it with a bag full of snacks and some cheeky travellers that I can drink on the sly.

Did you use krisflyer points or velocity?

Yeah, getting woken up with hot seafood for to early breakfast sounds yuck! Maybe a crossoint with fruit and coffee would of been way better. 😊

Hey come on it’s not all that bad. Flew with Turkish airlines flasgship business class (same as the SQ regional) and it’s heaps better than most other J class products

He did mention several times he was incredibly grateful for flying in the pointy end. His job is to critique the airlines, which he did. Without sounding entitled, I thought :)

Compared to a lot of seats it is quite good for a nap, but definitely not for a full sleep! Especially compared to their 777 and Long Haul A350 seats!

I had lie side ways. Annoyingly Brisbane flights get this seat, which my fiance n I weren't annoyed by.

Adelaide used to get these. You would think they would do better for Sydney and Melbourne.

For a day-time flight it gets the job done far better than economy, but its a far-cry from their best!

You were just incredibly unlucky on this trip. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences on SIA in biz class. I have to say, I don't think I have ever seen or heard of goodie bags being given out to apologise for a late flight. That right there shows you what kind of airline this is. Have another trip in biz with them this Dec and cant wait!

Definitely, thats why i thought it was well worth reporting on! Ive only ever had A++ trips with SQ and this wouldnt make me want to stop flying them. Their bad day is what someone like Jetstar dreams of being!

    • @pointyend-secrets

You are a lot of food !!!😂😅.
I am in my 40s now so when I travel, I am very careful about what time I eat especially on board as sometimes they serve food in very odd time like 4:00 am brekky which I avoid now days to rest my stomach.

Sometimes I cant say no, but I always regret these weird, midnight meals! If I didnt eat, I wouldnt have a lot of information to document though!

Hard to take anything of this seriously when the bloke has a spider web tattoo on his knee. I've travelled 45 countries before anyone woke bites.
