      Plastic, water, food, toxic fumes, location near factory waste - one of these is my guess. Kids might be able to handle the carcinogens better. Wonder what is going on with the non-teaching staff.

It's almost as if something has forced it's way into their bodies and given all these young women aggressive cancers...what could it, what could it be?...if only there was one common procedure they all had to have in order to keep their jobs, we might have been able to narrow it down. Mysterious.

    This is way too common in our health care model. Way too many doctors and hospitals will refuse tests and preventative healthcare, or test based on their ego-driven theory instead of doing an exploratory test. I refuse to believe that expensive medication and surgery is the only option to all ills. Anyone who works in healthcare will tell you the same thing (privately) that you have to advocate for your own health and never take a doctor's words as doctrine.

    This is what happens when we have a reactive health system instead of a pro active system.
    Catching a disease such as cancer in its early stages is way cheaper to cure than later stages.
    Test early, catch early and save lives and money.

    • @user-yg1dg6xm2g

      @user-yg1dg6xm2g หลายเดือนก่อน

      The real cure for cancer lies in a proper human diet, which is exactly why doctors receive zero training in nutrition. Instead, they're taught to prescribe drugs, ensuring Big Pharma keeps making money.

      Pro-active healthcare is more cost-efficient, which is what all our for-profit healthcare providers don't want. If a solution doesn't result in an invoice to be paid by OHIP, it's like that solution never existed. Like why doctors won't refer you to a specialist without seeing you first, so they can bill the government for seeing you, even if its about something they know absolutely nothing about.

I don’t know how it ranks as best in health care indexes is beyond me. I will just fly to India any day if I want specialized treatment and surgeries in anything which wouldn’t cost more than 2 grand max for major surgeries excluding transplants and CT scan and MRI the same day for may be 200 bucks and surgery scheduled within 2-3 days with world class surgeons and doctors.

    I think people saying she jumped the line and wait your turn, need to look at the big picture.
    She would be dead if she didn't. So you do you.
    She is at least being honest that she lied, even if it is later on.
    I think the age should be lowered and if you have an issue, the doctor should be able to triage it and expediate your case.
    If you have no systoms, still be screened if you want, but wait time will be longer.
    Unfortunately, people who need to be seen urgently are waiting. (maybe more so for other issues than this one)
    So, those of us who wait and wait, might die.
    But she should ALSO get screened too.
    Solution: The government use our tax dollars and do more for our health care system?
