@@ibraQQ only the g880 that I am aware of. I bought the G850 because I can attach it to the window rather than rap it around the existing mirror. With an additional attachment not included.

Glad to watch this, I ordered the G840S based on your earlier reviews. Being delivered today, can't wait to get it. I have been using a mirror screen with rear camera (no dash cam on mine) to see more of the area behind the car. The original rear view mirror from the factory doesn't allow you to see much at all behind the car because of the small rear window and the headrests in the car.

Great video. But one problem I have with my wolfbox g850 is that the setting option becomes grey or unclickable after 3 seconds of turning on my car. If I don't click the setting icon fast enough, I have to turn the device off and on again in order to navigate through the setting
Thank you Sam! Ah yes that is normal, the reason the settings button is greyed out is that the dash cam has begun recording. Notice how I stop the recording to access the settings menu, you can see that in the beginning of the video right before I go into the settings menu. Cheers!

Am I remembering incorrectly or not? But I had a camera like this before, and I was able to switch the multi cam rear end forward views around. So that my rear view camera was on the left side and the forward was on the right side, while viewing both cameras by swiping a part of the screen, while those dual cameras were up. Is that not the feature on this Webcam?

I'm not familiar with Mac but on a PC, you simply take the memory card from the dash cam and connect it to your PC, so I'm assuming the process is similar if not identical for Mac (and if your computer does not have a memory card reader, there are some affordable USB card readers out there), Cheers!

How do i get the dashcam footage to my iphone? I noticed that the dashcam doesnt have wifi compatibility. So I put the memory card into my iphone adapter and i couldnt find the dashcam footage in the files app?

Thank you Phil! Ah yes good question, I would say that while perfectly centering the rear camera is ideal, it's not crucial. I run dual dash cam setups on my cars (two, 2 channel dash cams for redundancy in case one fails) So the rear cameras as you can imagine are not perfectly centered, but when I show the video it's hard to tell that they are not centered. My guys installed it under the rear bumper on my 98 Chevy Blazer 4 doors. I cannot get use to it, please help me. I put some bottles like cars or parking places' indicator but when I set the reversing line and I can easily can back in up in the middle of the space, it is totally different if from an angle I try to reverse. So do I have to always change the reverse settings? Given the Blazer where would you install the rear camera to have a better view. thanks amigo!!
Hi A! A remember the reverse guidelines and the angle of the camera is set as shown on the video. Once that is set (if parking assist has been enabled) both the guidelines and camera angle will switch on automatically when the vehicle is in reverse. Just got one, will be installing it tomorrow finally. Went with the OBD2 hard wire setup and a direct mount which I really hope fits but that doesn't arrive until next week

This is a great device but I noticed an annoying flaw. You can't view the wide angle view of the rear cam by itself. It's the cropped version. The only way to view the wide angle is when you set it to view both front and back cams. It's been a couple days since I set this up. Either I missed some setting or this is an oversight by them. Might have to return this for this reason alone. Otherwise great piece of tech.
HI Arun! Remember the shape of the mirror is very wide, which means that the aspect ratio for video coming from the cameras cannot fit inside of it without compressing it and distorting the image. This is the reason why mirror dash cams show a "cropped" view of the video, so the video can show without compression or distortion (and allowing you to slide up or down so you can select what part of the video you want to see). When you are in split view, since the screen is showing two videos in their native aspect ratio (close to a square) your are able to see in this view a complete overview of the image being captured. But as you can see since we are forcing a square into a rectangular shape it results in a very small screen. Which if you want to use with the smaller square screen you could probably save some money by using a standard backup camera like this one th-cam.com/video/4bufdIcH8Bk/w-d-xo.html that show the complete image in a section of the mirror only. With the parking assist, what is the best way to figure out how to set up the lines so you have it as accurate as possible? I know I can adjust them, I just don't know what my reference points would be or what I would use to determine the correct placement.

Good question, I actually see people adjust them so they accurately represent how far they are away from things (with no room for error) and I see the other extreme where people set them up with room to spare to account for some margin of error. So I think it's somewhat of a personal preference. I personally would start wth some room to spare then reduce from there so they are close to representing how much space I have irl. I was having issues with my G850 and Wolfbox sent me out a new one to test. Can I ask you if you have shown how to update the bios of the camera? I might try that if this new one still has the same problem of resetting its GPS location. It is odd that the unit can tell your location from the GPS so that should give it all the information it needs for time date daylight savings and even type of speed (kmph/mph). I am still very happy with the image on the LCD and quality of the cameras.

I have not done a video on it since firmware updates for dash cams are not like the App updates we get on our phones (where we are constantly updating it), if something goes wrong during the upgrade, you can potentially turn your dash cam into a brick (it has even happened even to me once LOL) So I only recommend updating the firmware if directed by tech support or if you really don't mind risking associated with the update. Hi Thruth Aseen! Ahh good question, I think you can't go wrong with either one but here are some key differences. The G840H has been out for some time now so we know is reliable. The G850 has recently been released so it's a little early to know how long it will last (hopefully the same as G840H considering they are both Wolfbox) The G840H records at 125kbps while the G850 records at 39kbps (higher bit rate normally means more quality as the compression is not as heavy) The G840H records in MP4 while the G850 uses the TS format (you would want to check your device where you plan to download the videos to see which format it can playback) And finally the G840H has a direct mount kit available for it, the G850 can also be converted but currently there is no kit available, it requires the modification shown here th-cam.com/video/fveZiDofnxg/w-d-xo.html to get it to to be able to mount. Hi J! Nope, dash cams normally do not let you turn off loop recording as this would cause the memory to quickly be filled with videos and the dash cam will stop recording. If you want to manually protect videos, you can use the lock icon or if you want the dash cam to do it automatically based on impact that can be done with the G-Sensor setting. Cheers!

Again keep in mind that the memory will get full and all recording will stop which is why this feature has not been popular but I understand it could be useful if you just want the dash cam to record once. My issue is I had to install the camera upside down to fit my location for the install in the back. I’m aware and have chosen the “upside down of rear image” feature and it fixed it but the issue now and going forward is everything being recorded is upside down. When I go to watch my recorded videos they are viewed and played upside down. Any help on this? Anyone else have this issue?

Are you able to do a review of the VVCAR 12” ? Just purchased it and it seems to be of good quality, other than the rear night vision capabilities. Seems too dark at night. The recessed area for the cables is a nice feature which encouraged me to purchase. Also, all of these mirror dash cams seem to use the same 4 pin camera cables. Wondering if it’s possible to hookup a better quality rear camera for night vision, as most use the same connector? Love your videos! A response from you would be appreciated. Thanks

Ah regarding mixing dash cam components, yes I had viewers done it BUT I usually don't recommend it unless you don't mind voiding the warranty on the dash cam (due to mixing components) and we also don't know the long term aspects (both operational and safety) of mixing components. There is also the issue of which components will actually appear to work (again without knowing the long term effect of swapping) since sometimes small differences between the products (while looking the same from the outside) are important (I had a viewer fry his new rear camera because the old wiring looked same and it connected in the same way) I think it be neat for manufacturers to start standardizing some components like wiring so we can cross mingle them, but It's possible they may also not have plans to do so to avoid making it easy for a customer to jump out of their brand ugh. Hi Ricky! Nope, the orientation adjustments are for the rear camera only, you can see those at around the 2:09 mark. Regarding the cigarettes lighter plug, If your cigaretter lighter port turns off and on when you turn on and off you car, then the dash cam will come on and off with the car (so it will not drain you car battery). I just got a Pelsee 10" mirror cam and the mirror screen image is very desaturated and washed out... going to return it. Is this video screen on the mirror pretty saturated with good colors?

My Man, now my camera was on, it is installed to be permanent and to see if somebody parks into it. My battery brand new is dead. The car was not moving for 1-2 days. Any idea? I mean where I live we have no outlet so I either jumpstart the car and drive it. Or switch the wolfbox off when car is just parked. Then I do not get it how it can provide me a safety for parked car.. thanks!!

What I'm trying to get out of the dash-cam is only using the G-Sensor protection and not have it continuously record, but when I turn off parking mode and turn on the G-Sensor only and go back to the cam it still records nonstop. I'm wanting to use the G-Sensor only because someone keeps on accessing my hood and I'm looking for it to only go off when the hood is accessed (Open and shut). How do I even access the G-Sensor recordings vs the continuous recordings?
Hi Intristic! Sounds like the dash cam is not entering parking mode. When it's correctly hardwired (with the Wolfbox hardwire kit) the screen will turn off and the dash cam will enter park mode (if Park Mode is enabled in the dash cam settings) when the car is off. An impact strong enough would then trigger the dash cam to record. Is it possible adjusting the zoom of the rear camera? Because after see your videos I decide to buy it but for me it’s kind useless because it show everything more closer than it really is.
Hi Daniel! That is strange, normally mirror dash cams have the opposite effect of making things appear farther (due to the wide angle view they provide over normal mirrors). I would have the installer confirm that everything has been installed correctly (and that the correct components where installed, I seen cases where installers have mixed up components by accident). The other possibility but very small, is that there was an extremely rare version of the G850 that supported zoom in and zoom out, here is the video for it th-cam.com/video/-ij02UzQWO0/w-d-xo.html If you happen to be lucky enough to have scored a G850 V1 then you possibly have mirror zoom enabled bringing the image very close. However to this day only two people are confirmed to have a G850 V1 their possession (myself and another viewer). Cheers!
I ordered a G850 from amazon (type C) new version this week. I do not have the current firmware. When I downloaded it, it says .bin and will not open on mac. Do i just need to transfer over the file to the sd card and not uncompress it? Just copy and paste to the sd card then eject from mac?

Awesome, I haven't heard that one before! 😃 ah yes once I upgraded to a mirror dash cam I can't go back to my old mirror. Here is what I recommend to people to help them choose. Start by picking how many cameras does it need to have (2 or 3). Now that you have narrowed your selections, consider how much you want to spend on one, that will narrow your choices even further. Then consider any special features you are looking for such as 360° video, Side Camera, Detached Cameras, Wi-Fi, BSM support, Auto Brightness, Back up to SSD, Parking monitor without hardwire Etc. HI Ajay! GPS enabled dash cams do not let you track the car (the GPS is only used to record the speed and coordinates of where the video was recorded at). Hi! That is strange, the screen should turn off and the dash cam should enter park mode when the car is off. Hi Michael! The camera would have to be installed high enough so it could be aim down to see the bumper of the car. However at this extreme angle you will likely not be able to use the mirror dash cam as an LCD mirror since the camera would only show behind the rear bumper not the view of the road behind you (but you could use the mirror dash cam as a normal mirror if you turn off the LCD panel) Because of this it's not common to install the rear camera like that. Nope mine is still going strong (but will update this comment if something changes) I would double check that you are using the original power adapter that came with it and that is it's firmly connected to the cigarette lighter plug. If the dash cam is hardwired, I would have the installer confirm the correct hardwire kit was installed and the installation to make sure none of the wires have come loose. I have the GPS connected BUT I do not know which UTC time zone to pick. I have tried several and none match the current time. I live in Henderson Nv near Las Vegas and in the Pacific time zone with daylight savings.

Alex just got my g850 in and I saw in the manual its possible to turn off the time display...yet I could not find it anywhere and I didn't see that you had any extra options that I didn't. Do you know how to turn it off? Manual calls it the Time always on setting page 33 of 850s manual
Hi Jay! Yes you can see that option around the 3:35 mark, it's called Screen Saver. Same on the manual (version V02), page 33 also describes using the screen saver feature. However I don't use it, I like to keep my display on all the time. However I'm wondering if you have an older version of the manual, on my old G850 manual on page 30 describes a time display option (used to turn off the time display) if so, I would check your firmware, you may have new firmware and an older manual. @@AlexAutoFun Yes time display is what I was talking about not the screen saver...and yes it def seems like new firmware and old manual...I contacted wolf box and they said the new version of the 850 does not allow that...I told them IMO it would be a good idea to allow the user to turn off everything on screen for a clean look especially time and date. We're in a car I can get that info from about 4 other places lol. Won't hold my breath but maybe a future firmware will add those options back in. Not the worst thing in the world I'm sure Ill get used to it.

Hi IVan! I usually don't recommend using the OBD2 power adapter with mirror dash cams since the OBD adapter can only provide 2A out of the 2.5 - 3A that most mirror dash cams require. Hi Daddy Gee! I usually don't recommend updating the firmware unless directed by tech support to do so or if you are willing to accept the the risks involved with updating it. If something goes wrong during the upgrade, you can potentially turn your dash cam into a brick (it has even happened to me LOL). Firmware updates for dash cams are not like the App updates we get on our phones (where we are constantly updating it). The update instructions are on the Wolfbox website (link to the Wolfbox dash cam in the video description) but again I would be extremely careful if attempting this. Hope this helps, Cheers!
Hi Cliff! Nope so far mirror dash cams do not supporting moving parking lines. There is quite a bit of complexity involved integrating that function into a car after it has being built (but not impossible) I'm sure at some point a system will come out that will support some type of interface between the steering rack and the reverse lines, we just have to wait and see (particularly if there is enough demand for this feature considering the cost of the extra components and labor to install it) And if I do ever see one, I will update this comment for you. Possibly we will see this as some point in the future but I can tell you I have not seen much interest in deveoping this by the Industry (I usually find out about upcoming products way before they come out) so we may be waiting a while. I have been using a mirror screen with rear camera (no dash cam on mine) to see more of the area behind the car. The original rear view mirror from the factory doesn't allow you to see much at all behind the car because of the small rear window and the headrests in the car.

Great video. But one problem I have with my wolfbox g850 is that the setting option becomes grey or unclickable after 3 seconds of turning on my car. If I don't click the setting icon fast enough, I have to turn the device off and on again in order to navigate through the setting
Thank you Sam! Ah yes that is normal, the reason the settings button is greyed out is that the dash cam has begun recording. Notice how I stop the recording to access the settings menu, you can see that in the beginning of the video right before I go into the settings menu. Cheers!

Am I remembering incorrectly or not? But I had a camera like this before, and I was able to switch the multi cam rear end forward views around. So that my rear view camera was on the left side and the forward was on the right side, while viewing both cameras by swiping a part of the screen, while those dual cameras were up. Is that not the feature on this Webcam?

How this Timelapse work .when ever I turn it off it show time lapse turns on but if I try to review it ,it doesn’t show .

Thank you Phil! Ah yes good question, I would say that while perfectly centering the rear camera is ideal, it's not crucial. I run dual dash cam setups on my cars (two, 2 channel dash cams for redundancy in case one fails) So the rear cameras as you can imagine are not perfectly centered, but when I show the video it's hard to tell that they are not centered. My guys installed it under the rear bumper on my 98 Chevy Blazer 4 doors. I cannot get use to it, please help me. I put some bottles like cars or parking places' indicator but when I set the reversing line and I can easily can back in up in the middle of the space, it is totally different if from an angle I try to reverse. So do I have to always change the reverse settings? Given the Blazer where would you install the rear camera to have a better view. thanks amigo!!
Hi A! A remember the reverse guidelines and the angle of the camera is set as shown on the video. Once that is set (if parking assist has been enabled) both the guidelines and camera angle will switch on automatically when the vehicle is in reverse. This is a great device but I noticed an annoying flaw. You can't view the wide angle view of the rear cam by itself. It's the cropped version. The only way to view the wide angle is when you set it to view both front and back cams. It's been a couple days since I set this up. Either I missed some setting or this is an oversight by them. Might have to return this for this reason alone. Otherwise great piece of tech.
HI Arun! Remember the shape of the mirror is very wide, which means that the aspect ratio for video coming from the cameras cannot fit inside of it without compressing it and distorting the image. This is the reason why mirror dash cams show a "cropped" view of the video, so the video can show without compression or distortion (and allowing you to slide up or down so you can select what part of the video you want to see). When you are in split view, since the screen is showing two videos in their native aspect ratio (close to a square) your are able to see in this view a complete overview of the image being captured. But as you can see since we are forcing a square into a rectangular shape it results in a very small screen. Which if you want to use with the smaller square screen you could probably save some money by using a standard backup camera like this one th-cam.com/video/4bufdIcH8Bk/w-d-xo.html that show the complete image in a section of the mirror only. With the parking assist, what is the best way to figure out how to set up the lines so you have it as accurate as possible? I know I can adjust them, I just don't know what my reference points would be or what I would use to determine the correct placement.

Good question, I actually see people adjust them so they accurately represent how far they are away from things (with no room for error) and I see the other extreme where people set them up with room to spare to account for some margin of error. So I think it's somewhat of a personal preference. I personally would start wth some room to spare then reduce from there so they are close to representing how much space I have irl. I was having issues with my G850 and Wolfbox sent me out a new one to test. Can I ask you if you have shown how to update the bios of the camera? I might try that if this new one still has the same problem of resetting its GPS location. It is odd that the unit can tell your location from the GPS so that should give it all the information it needs for time date daylight savings and even type of speed (kmph/mph). I am still very happy with the image on the LCD and quality of the cameras.

I have not done a video on it since firmware updates for dash cams are not like the App updates we get on our phones (where we are constantly updating it), if something goes wrong during the upgrade, you can potentially turn your dash cam into a brick (it has even happened even to me once LOL) So I only recommend updating the firmware if directed by tech support or if you really don't mind risking associated with the update. Hi Thruth Aseen! Ahh good question, I think you can't go wrong with either one but here are some key differences. The G840H has been out for some time now so we know is reliable. The G850 has recently been released so it's a little early to know how long it will last (hopefully the same as G840H considering they are both Wolfbox) The G840H records at 125kbps while the G850 records at 39kbps (higher bit rate normally means more quality as the compression is not as heavy) The G840H records in MP4 while the G850 uses the TS format (you would want to check your device where you plan to download the videos to see which format it can playback) And finally the G840H has a direct mount kit available for it, the G850 can also be converted but currently there is no kit available, it requires the modification shown here th-cam.com/video/fveZiDofnxg/w-d-xo.html to get it to to be able to mount. Hi J! Nope, dash cams normally do not let you turn off loop recording as this would cause the memory to quickly be filled with videos and the dash cam will stop recording. If you want to manually protect videos, you can use the lock icon or if you want the dash cam to do it automatically based on impact that can be done with the G-Sensor setting. Cheers!

Again keep in mind that the memory will get full and all recording will stop which is why this feature has not been popular but I understand it could be useful if you just want the dash cam to record once. My issue is I had to install the camera upside down to fit my location for the install in the back. I’m aware and have chosen the “upside down of rear image” feature and it fixed it but the issue now and going forward is everything being recorded is upside down. When I go to watch my recorded videos they are viewed and played upside down. Any help on this? Anyone else have this issue?

Are you able to do a review of the VVCAR 12” ? Just purchased it and it seems to be of good quality, other than the rear night vision capabilities. Seems too dark at night. The recessed area for the cables is a nice feature which encouraged me to purchase. Also, all of these mirror dash cams seem to use the same 4 pin camera cables. Wondering if it’s possible to hookup a better quality rear camera for night vision, as most use the same connector?

Ah regarding mixing dash cam components, yes I had viewers done it BUT I usually don't recommend it unless you don't mind voiding the warranty on the dash cam (due to mixing components) and we also don't know the long term aspects (both operational and safety) of mixing components. There is also the issue of which components will actually appear to work (again without knowing the long term effect of swapping) since sometimes small differences between the products (while looking the same from the outside) are important (I had a viewer fry his new rear camera because the old wiring looked same and it connected in the same way) I think it be neat for manufacturers to start standardizing some components like wiring so we can cross mingle them, but It's possible they may also not have plans to do so to avoid making it easy for a customer to jump out of their brand ugh. Hi Ricky! Nope, the orientation adjustments are for the rear camera only, you can see those at around the 2:09 mark. Regarding the cigarettes lighter plug, If your cigaretter lighter port turns off and on when you turn on and off you car, then the dash cam will come on and off with the car (so it will not drain you car battery). I just got a Pelsee 10" mirror cam and the mirror screen image is very desaturated and washed out... going to return it. Is this video screen on the mirror pretty saturated with good colors?

My Man, now my camera was on, it is installed to be permanent and to see if somebody parks into it. My battery brand new is dead. The car was not moving for 1-2 days. Any idea? I mean where I live we have no outlet so I either jumpstart the car and drive it. Or switch the wolfbox off when car is just parked. Mine do the samething. I had to use my warranty for new battery. My wires are connected correctly to.
Parking mode does it start recording when it sees movement or when the car is bumped.

What I'm trying to get out of the dash-cam is only using the G-Sensor protection and not have it continuously record, but when I turn off parking mode and turn on the G-Sensor only and go back to the cam it still records nonstop. I'm wanting to use the G-Sensor only because someone keeps on accessing my hood and I'm looking for it to only go off when the hood is accessed (Open and shut). How do I even access the G-Sensor recordings vs the continuous recordings?
Hi Intristic! Sounds like the dash cam is not entering parking mode. When it's correctly hardwired (with the Wolfbox hardwire kit) the screen will turn off and the dash cam will enter park mode (if Park Mode is enabled in the dash cam settings) when the car is off. An impact strong enough would then trigger the dash cam to record. Is it possible adjusting the zoom of the rear camera? Because after see your videos I decide to buy it but for me it’s kind useless because it show everything more closer than it really is.
Hi Daniel! That is strange, normally mirror dash cams have the opposite effect of making things appear farther (due to the wide angle view they provide over normal mirrors). I would have the installer confirm that everything has been installed correctly (and that the correct components where installed, I seen cases where installers have mixed up components by accident). The other possibility but very small, is that there was an extremely rare version of the G850 that supported zoom in and zoom out, here is the video for it th-cam.com/video/-ij02UzQWO0/w-d-xo.html If you happen to be lucky enough to have scored a G850 V1 then you possibly have mirror zoom enabled bringing the image very close. However to this day only two people are confirmed to have a G850 V1 their possession (myself and another viewer). Cheers!
I ordered a G850 from amazon (type C) new version this week. I do not have the current firmware. When I downloaded it, it says .bin and will not open on mac. Do i just need to transfer over the file to the sd card and not uncompress it? Just copy and paste to the sd card then eject from mac?
Hi Breana! I usually don't recommend updating the firmware unless directed by tech support to do so or if you are willing to accept the the risks involved with updating it. If something goes wrong during the upgrade, you can potentially turn your dash cam into a brick (it has even happened even to me LOL). Firmware updates for dash cams are not like the App updates we get on our phones (where we are constantly updating it). This is also the reason I have not made a video showing this process (the instructions are on Wolfbox's website) but again I would be extremely careful if attempting this. Hope this helps, Cheers!

How do you install the reversing camera so that you'd be able to see the read bumper or end of the car?
Hi Michael! The camera would have to be installed high enough so it could be aim down to see the bumper of the car. However at this extreme angle you will likely not be able to use the mirror dash cam as an LCD mirror since the camera would only show behind the rear bumper not the view of the road behind you (but you could use the mirror dash cam as a normal mirror if you turn off the LCD panel) Because of this it's not common to install the rear camera like that. Nope mine is still going strong (but will update this comment if something changes) I would double check that you are using the original power adapter that came with it and that is it's firmly connected to the cigarette lighter plug. If the dash cam is hardwired, I would have the installer confirm the correct hardwire kit was installed and the installation to make sure none of the wires have come loose. And if you are still having trouble you can also contact Wolfbox, they may be able to walk you thru some trouble shooting steps. Hope this helps, Cheers!

I have the GPS connected BUT I do not know which UTC time zone to pick. I have tried several and none match the current time. I live in Henderson Nv near Las Vegas and in the Pacific time zone with daylight savings.

Alex just got my g850 in and I saw in the manual its possible to turn off the time display...yet I could not find it anywhere and I didn't see that you had any extra options that I didn't. Do you know how to turn it off? Manual calls it the Time always on setting page 33 of 850s manual
Hi Jay! Yes you can see that option around the 3:35 mark, it's called Screen Saver. Same on the manual (version V02), page 33 also describes using the screen saver feature. However I don't use it, I like to keep my display on all the time. However I'm wondering if you have an older version of the manual, on my old G850 manual on page 30 describes a time display option (used to turn off the time display) if so, I would check your firmware, you may have new firmware and an older manual. @@AlexAutoFun Yes time display is what I was talking about not the screen saver...and yes it def seems like new firmware and old manual...I contacted wolf box and they said the new version of the 850 does not allow that...I told them IMO it would be a good idea to allow the user to turn off everything on screen for a clean look especially time and date. We're in a car I can get that info from about 4 other places lol. Won't hold my breath but maybe a future firmware will add those options back in. Not the worst thing in the world I'm sure Ill get used to it.

Hi IVan! I usually don't recommend using the OBD2 power adapter with mirror dash cams since the OBD adapter can only provide 2A out of the 2.5 - 3A that most mirror dash cams require. Hi Daddy Gee! I usually don't recommend updating the firmware unless directed by tech support to do so or if you are willing to accept the the risks involved with updating it. If something goes wrong during the upgrade, you can potentially turn your dash cam into a brick (it has even happened to me LOL). Firmware updates for dash cams are not like the App updates we get on our phones (where we are constantly updating it). The update instructions are on the Wolfbox website (link to the Wolfbox dash cam in the video description) but again I would be extremely careful if attempting this. Hope this helps, Cheers!
Do you know if any of the mirror cameras have backup assist lines that are dynamic and curve when the steering wheel turns?
Hi Cliff! Nope so far mirror dash cams do not supporting moving parking lines. There is quite a bit of complexity involved integrating that function into a car after it has being built (but not impossible) I'm sure at some point a system will come out that will support some type of interface between the steering rack and the reverse lines, we just have to wait and see (particularly if there is enough demand for this feature considering the cost of the extra components and labor to install it) And if I do ever see one, I will update this comment for you. Hi! You can take the memory card to a PC to download the videos and then transfer them to the phone. There are also memory card readers you can buy for your phone if you want to bypass the PC all together. Cheers!

Ayuda!!!....saludo nuevamente y con una duda más, espero me puedas ayudar, la grabación con camara trasera es normal, pero al reproducir el vídeo la imagen se invierte, ya probé todos los ajustes y no soluciona ese problema, el detalle es que no hacia hacia eso, es decir, grababa normal (lado derecho se ve en lado derecho) pero al reproducir invierte imagen (lado derecho se ve en lado izquierdo)

Ah ya te capte, te refieres al video grabado cuando lo tocas otra vez esta alrevez "mirrored" la imagen, si ciertas mirror dash cam en adicion a mostrar el video "mirrored" en vivo tambien lo graban "mirrored" La opcion de ajuste de camaras normalmente nada mas cambia como se ve el video en vivo pero no cambia el video grabado. Saludos!

Great videos could you wire a 4k back up camera into this one. Mainly looking at the G900 and the back up camera is only 2.4k and the front camera is 4k. So just wondering if I found a 4K back up camera could I use it with they mirror
Thanks sakocat! Ah yes good question, currently there are no mirror dash cams with a 4K rear camera in the market. Possibly we will see this as some point in the future but I can tell you I have not seen much interest in deveoping this by the Industry (I usually find out about upcoming products way before they come out) so we may be waiting a while.
