@@74osho Hi Dawg! ! The G840H uses the GC4653 sensor. There are currently no mirror dash cams with Starvis 2 sensors (the adoption of this sensor has been slow on traditional dash cams so it is likely we won't see a Starvis 2 mirror dash cam for a while. Cheers!
Perfect! This video covers it all, it's fast paced, with no procrastination. It is not overly verbose. It displays solid production standards - picture and sound. It's easily comprehensible and has better than good English. This is a lot of work and it's a densely packed 16 mins. Thanks!
Another excellent video from Auto fun! I have a different model wolf box that you had reviewed and 6 months later nothing but love❤ Could not be happier with my wolf box works like it should
Hi Mike! Ah remember Wi-Fi has limited range (same as the WIFI router on your house) If you need a dash cam accessible remotely, for that you would want a Cloud enabled dash cam like this one th-cam.com/video/EBLvq2X2SwQ/w-d-xo.html (live video, tracking, notifications to your phone etc.) And I have more dash cam reviews on my channel in the playlist "Dash Cams Reviews" if you like to compare them. Cheers! @@mikecutts3169
Great video! I really like how you explain things Alex. Nicely done. I do find myself very confused though when ascertaining the Wolfbox product lineup. For me, their website and product guide really do not break down their model "specs" very well. It's confusing. In other words, why would I go with the G840H when there is the G850? (Not to mention all the "T" models.) I think perhaps you may think about doing a video on the best "budget". "Mid-range", and "High-End" models. I would venture to say - Many viewers just want the best model based upon the specs and price. Perhaps you could shed some light on why a certain model is a better value etc. Thanks again! 👍
Thank you John! Yeah i agree, the done some good updates to the website to clean it up and show the difference between the models but I think it can still be improved. The G850 has higher video quality than the G840H. Here is the full review for it th-cam.com/video/7UbJk32_k5Y/w-d-xo.html And the G840H is for those that want WiFi over picture quality but I really like your idea of a video explaining each one, will work on one for sure, stay tuned, Cheers!
Hello Sir, Great video ..In India 70mai S500 and WOLFBOX G840H rearview dashcams are available in same price range. Could you please recommend which one you think is the best ? I am planning to purchase a dashcam. Thank you in advance.
Thank you R! Ah unfortunately I have not tested the S500 so I can't comment on it's performance or how it compares to the G840H. I will see if we can add it to the list of to review (list is getting longer by the day! LOL) Cheers!
Have been using mine and wanted to ask about the following: 1. When you take a picture. Does the picture you take from both cameras or just of the view you have in the mirror at the time? 2. When driving the mirror image has sort of a grayish tone over it. Have done some moving of the mirror but grayish tone still there? 3. You mention about the REC mode. After your vehicle is parked and turned off. Does both cameras continue recording and when you restart your vehicle do you once again have to restart REC mode? Thanks for the clarification and keep up the great videos!
Thank you Robert! Ah yes when you take a picture, it captures both the front and rear camera at the same time. Regarding grey tone, as shown on the video mine does not have this. However you may be seeing the infamous mirror dash cam glare (which affects what we perceive as brightness), unfortunately all mirror dash cams are plagued by this to an extent (is just part of the nature of a screen also being used as a mirror when the LCD panel is off). However here is what I found works good to reduce it and increase visibility of the mirror dash cam screen. 1st is window tint (sides windows only not on the rear if camera is mounted inside the car). 2nd I aim my mirror dash cam down towards the rear seats so I don't get the reflection of the bright outside (this assumes your are using the dash cam with the screen on). Cheers!
Thank you Attila! Ah good question, I think it depends on what feature is most important to you. So I would say go for the G850 if you want higher picture quality, here is the full review for the G850 th-cam.com/video/7UbJk32_k5Y/w-d-xo.html or go for the G840H if you want the Wifi function. You're welcome S! Ah I have tested a couple ones that do have Android Auto. However so far my opinion on this is that I found it uncomfortable to look up to my mirror to see a map vs looking at my mounted phone or the screen on my vehicle if your car has a stereo that supports navigation. The other issue is that Android Auto on a mirror takes up half the mirror screen so now the portion used for the mirror function is now small which maybe ok for backing up but difficult to use for a full time rear view mirror. If you want to experience a small screen rear view mirror before buying an Auto Android mirror here is an affordable choice th-cam.com/video/4bufdIcH8Bk/w-d-xo.html And here is a larger unit that does have Android Auto th-cam.com/video/a8-stj3H2Mk/w-d-xo.html Cheers!
Great information. I have 2 questions: When it is turned on, can I set it so my view is always going to be the rear view without having to change it every time? Also, is there a way to not use GPS and remove the watermark on the left? My main use for this dashcam is to replace my rearview mirror. How has that been in your experience?
You're welcome Sharwan! Ah the G900 does not support Wi-Fi. If you need Wifi & App support to connect it to your phone then you will want to go for the G840H or the T10 Plus, here is my review for the T10 Plus th-cam.com/video/2XQFw-C8f88/w-d-xo.html and G900 th-cam.com/video/eNK6ujrWWkA/w-d-xo.html Cheers!
Great video as usual, I have the later G840H model, on the previous model the time zone was programmable, is that possible on this later model? I gather it takes time from the GPS if I like my cell the time is corrected, but I have to do that every time after powering up. I have the hard wire kit I just haven't hooked it up yet, thanks.
Thank you R! Ah yes the time zone is adjustable, you can see the "Time Zone" setting option in the settings menu when I go over that part of the review. Cheers!
Hi Omar! Mirror Dashcams do not feature auto dimming. This is due to the mirror being an LCD screen when turned on, so you don't get your eyes blinded by the headlights from rear vehicles since what your are seeing is not a real reflection, what you are seeing on the screen is what the rear camera is seeing (assuming the mirror is used with the LCD screen on and the mirror is not aimed at your eyes since the screen is still reflective). Cheers!

Thanks for the video. Want to get one for my 2024 Outback. Is the G840 H better than the G840S? Local installer has the S and was curious what one is better? Thanks
You're welcome John! and yes the G840H is a higher model than the G840S. Hopefully I can add a review for the G840S in the future for those curious about. Cheers!

Your review on this dash cam G840H with wifi is very helpful. But I have a question, Is the rear camera can be installed up side down, are there any choices where you can rotate the view if this one installed on the top of the car?
Hi thanks so much for your reviews!! Much appreciated! Rexing M3 vs wolfbox G480H, which is better to sensor capture and record while car is parked? Or is a regular dash cam better? Also, does dash cams drain battery?

Hi. This is a bit unrelated, but do you think a mirror dash cam could be temporarily installed on a rental car, say if one plans to rent a car for 2+ weeks? I imagine it would be easy except for the rear view camera. Maybe there's an entry point for the cable on most cars that would not require modification to the car. Maybe the truck lid could be shut over the cable. What do you think about this odd question!?
Hi Tayler! Ah yes it could, like this one could be installed in minutes th-cam.com/video/7IED69-078E/w-d-xo.html and capture 360 video and if wanting to install one with a dedicated rear camera, I would place the camera on the inside of the car. Here is my follow rear camera installation video showing both inside and outside installation th-cam.com/video/44WXN8MI66o/w-d-xo.html with the inside being the shortest (and easiest imo). Cheers!
My good sir, can you make a video of your top 5 dash cam mirrors? My concern is solely about wanting the best reverse camera while driving to help me change lanes easily at night without any glare. Would you recommend the G900? Redtiger T27? Any others? Are there any new anticipated high end models?
Hi Mox! Ah yes the infamous mirror dash cam glare, unfortunately all mirror dash cams are plagued by this (is just part of the nature of a screen also being used as a mirror when the LCD panel is off). just found your site, thank you for all the info... Question, i am stuck between the wolfbox G840H or the G900 which do you think is the better one or would recommend another one?
Hi MrPilot! It think is going to come down to what is important to your in a mirror dash cam and your budget (if any). The G900 is Wolfbox's flagship dashcam so it's video quality will exceed the G840H (and price will be higher). If you want Wifi then G840H will be the way to. And there are a couple of other key differences in their features, here is the full review for the G900 so you can compare them th-cam.com/video/eNK6ujrWWkA/w-d-xo.html Cheers!
Hi Patrick! Yes, outside by the license plate, however it can also be mounted inside the vehicle. And here is my rear camera installation video showing both inside and outside installation th-cam.com/video/44WXN8MI66o/w-d-xo.html with the inside being the shortest (and easiest in my opinion). Cheers!
Hi Kye! Normally mirror dash cams have the opposite effect of making things appear farther (due to the wide angle view they provide over normal mirrors) But yes there was an extremely rare version of the G850 that supported zoom in and zoom out, here is the video for it th-cam.com/video/-ij02UzQWO0/w-d-xo.html If you happen to be lucky enough to have scored a G850 V1 then you possibly have mirror zoom enabled bringing the image very close. However to this day only two people are confirmed to have a G850 V1 their possession (myself and another viewer). Cheers!
Hi Guiseppe! I think the video when mounted inside the is still very acceptable (actually my preferred location to mount the rear camera on) If you take a look at the driving video here you can get an idea of how it looks th-cam.com/video/Em73dAjyXSY/w-d-xo.html And here is my rear camera installation video showing both inside and outside installation th-cam.com/video/44WXN8MI66o/w-d-xo.html with the inside being the shortest (and easiest in my opinion). Cheers!
Hello. This video was super helpful, but for some reason i can't figure out how to connect my device to the app. I have the wifi on but can't figure it out. Any suggestions? Please & thank you
Hi L! Glad to hear that. Ah to connect to the WIFI, you would connect the same way you would connect to your internet router, in your phone settings you would select the dash cam's WIFI and connect to it (make sure the Dash Cam's Wifi is also On as some dash cams allow you to turn it off). If you are still having issues I would recommend contacting your installer, they can likely walk you thru how to connect to the dash cam's Wifi. I would also recommend taking a look at the manual or contacting Wolfbox for tech support, they may also be able to walk you thru the process of connecting to a Wifi network. Cheers!
Great update....Given the changes to the G840H with the wifi capability, increased memory card storage capability and adjustable parking assistance, why would I buy the G900? Up until watching this video, that was my plan for my new Leisure Travel Van Unity (MB chassis) motorhome. What am I missing in features between the "new" G840H and the current G900?
Thank you Greg! Ah good question. The G900 is still Wolfbox's flagship mirror dash cam, it has higher picture quality than the G840H and also supports 256Gb (the memory capacity on G900 was also been upgraded recently). I would say go for the G840H if you need Wifi App support or go for the G900 if you want the highest picture quality and advanced parking mode features. And here is the full review for the G900 so you can compare it against the G840H th-cam.com/video/eNK6ujrWWkA/w-d-xo.html Cheers!
good review thanks. At 5:00 you say "[this icon] flags the video so we can find it among the many hours of..". Don't you mean "Locks the video so it won't get over-written"? Two different meanings are they not?
Thank you Dean! Correct, it locks the video. I say flag because on my older reviews people who are not familiar with dash cams didn't understand the term Lock as far as what it means on dash cams (or what loop recording is) But yes the lock function prevents the video from being overwritten (on most dash cams) and it also places the video on a separate folder for easier retrieval. I'm also currently working on a video where I explain this and other dash cam terminology for new dash cam users. Cheers!
Hi Anthony! Nope, as shown on the video, this is only a dual channel dash cam. If you need a cabin camera then you would want to go for the G890 shown here th-cam.com/video/EeCSx35mkPY/w-d-xo.html Cheers!
Hi Patrick! Ah yes the infamous glare, unfortunately all mirror dash cams are plagued by this to an extent, due to the limitations of current video sensor technology (actually I posted about this subject on the channel, check under Community if you want to read it). What I usually do to minimize glare is I mount the rear camera as high as possible and I aim it slightly down. If mounted low and horizontal to the cars behind you, the camera faces the headlights of coming vehicles directly which can exacerbate the glare issue (same as someone shinning a light directly to your eyes). High mounting and tilt has helped me reduce the glare but won't eliminate it completely. And I have another video coming up where I cover this method in more detail, stay tuned. Cheers!
I just purchased this mirror cam. Question? Can I use a YaberAuto Car Battery Jump Starter 6000A Jump Box (All Gas/12.0L Diesel) Portable Battery Pack, 12V Car Battery Jumper with Extended Jumper Cables, 45W Fast Charging, 600 Lumens Light for remote power for the mirror cam instead of hardwiring it for when I have my car parked in a parking lot and want the cameras recording?
Hi Randy and congrats on your new mirror dash cam! I personally can't go back to a regular mirror now,. Ah regarding using a battery pack I have not done so but yes some people do run their dash cams off a battery pack. However I prefer a normal cigarette lighter adapter or standard hardwire kit since here in my State we experience really hot temperatures which I would not want to subject the battery to, that and the potential for a run away event (fire) during charging or discharging inside the car. Here is an example of a internal dash cam battery and what the sun did to it th-cam.com/video/HW8jqbl_ayU/w-d-xo.html and a video of battery related fire I personally experienced th-cam.com/video/XfWgJ8nu-RA/w-d-xo.html (destroyed the house) Cheers!

You should make a comparison video, comparing the G840S, G840H, G900 & G930. I know the G900 is the “flagship” model. But it seems that the G840H has more features and is cheaper. What’s the point of getting the G900 then. Ik it has a higher video quality but if it’s lacking wifi then why is it more expensive? Fyi - I have watched all your reviews on the wolfbox models and the installation videos.
Hi J! Ah that is a good suggestion, I have not tested the G840S or the G930 but I will see if we can add them to the list of to review (list is getting longer by the day! LOL) Cheers!
@@AlexAutoFun No problem. I think you would get a lot of views because there are no comparisons of the wolfbox models on youtube or in any articles. You would have the only one. Good luck with the list.
Is this camera can record on the front and the back at the same time while I am driving? Please, I need your response because I am looking to buy one and I prefer the one can Record the front and the back at the same time
Hi Sara! Yes, the dash cam records both front and rear camera at the same time. And remember I placed the discount code in the video description if you need it. Cheers!
Mine keeps filling up the locked videos folder and fills up memory card so it stops recording. I turned the bump sensitivity to the off setting but still fills up memory card with locked videos. Any suggestions. Thanks
Hi M! That is strange, if the G-Sensor has been turned off you should not have any locked videos (unless you manually lock them). I recommend contacting for Wolfbox for tech support, they may be able to walk you thru some troubleshooting steps. Cheers!

Hi Rodolf! I'm no sure at what time Wifi was added to the G840H but you can always check with Wolfbox to confirm if your dash cam supports WIFI or not. Cheers!

Hi Marshall! Parking Assist can be enabled by connecting the extra wire to the vehicle's reverse tail light, here what that process looks like th-cam.com/video/LHGxwulIPes/w-d-xo.html Ah yes the mirror is powered by the included adapter or can be connected with a hardwire kit, here is the video for that th-cam.com/video/0KwoF1ZVnsc/w-d-xo.html Cheers!
Hi Henry! Typically an OEM dash cam can only be replaced by the same OEM dash cam. Aftermarket dash cams use different connections and are typically not compatible with OEM connections or interfaces. Cheers!
Hi Avinash! The LCD mirror is installed on top of the original mirror, here is my video showing the full install th-cam.com/video/IYRavaIBmSY/w-d-xo.html Regarding warranty, you would want to check your State's law. In my State supposedly the law prevents a Dealer from denying warranty if someone added something to their car or worked on their own car as long as whatever was added or the work that was done was not the cause of the failure. So let's say you put window tint on your car and your transmission fails, it would be difficult for the dealer to deny it because they tint or the tint install did not affect the transmission. But as simple as that sounds, there are horror stories of dealers not honoring warranty if they see a modification claiming it is what led to the failure. Some owners had to take them to court or complained directly to manufacturer (since dealers are typically independently owned) to get their warranty honored. Cheers!

Hey Alex, im thinking of switching from my Volway mu12 to a Wolfbox G840s. The g840s is 50% off right now on amazon so i think its a good deal. HOWEVER, i know i'll have to switch my power cable (micro-usb to type-c) and the main reason for switching because the mini usb connection on the mu12 is failing... but my question to you is if you know if my current rear camera and GPS from the mu12 will work with the g840s or will i be forced to change everything?
Hi Carlito! Ah Swapping components such as a different camera is sometimes possible BUT I usually don't recommend it unless you don't mind potentially voiding warranty (due to mixing components/brands). We also don't know the long term aspects (both operational and safety) of mixing components/brands. There is also the issue of which components will actually appear to work at first but fail later due to mixing since sometimes small differences between the products while looking the same from the outside are important (I had a viewer fry his new rear camera because the old wiring connections looked same as his prior rear dash cam) Cheers!
You're welcome! Ah yes the infamous glare halo effect, unfortunately all mirror dash cams are plagued by this to an extent, due to the limitations of current video sensor technology (actually I posted about this subject on the channel, check under Community if you want to read it). What I usually do to minimize glare is I mount the rear camera as high as possible and I aim it slightly down. @@AlexAutoFun Thank you for replying. Because of the limitations of my motorhome with the Mercedes sprinter chassis factory mirror because it has a large mount on the windshield that may block the camera view in the front. So I'm going to have to use wolf box WOLFBOX Center Console Base Bracket dashboard mount. Have you had any experience with vibration and using that particular mount?
@@kip5588 You're welcome! Ah the dash mount will have about the same amount vibration as the top as both are directly connected the vehicle (mirror or dash) While my dash cam doesn't really vibrate, I seen what you are describing on some cars. It comes down to your car's harmonics and suspension. So I see vibrations vary quite a bit from vehicle to vehicle, some have really smooth idle and acceleration and some don't. Same with suspension (including tire setup) some cars are set for comfort and vibrations are minimal but some cars are tuned to be sportier and vibrations are more pronounced in the interior of the vehicle (specially in bumpy roads). Cheers!
@@AlexAutoFun Thank you for responding. Saw a lot of reviews on Amazon said vibrates a lot . Hi Monu! No need to delete old videos manually, the dash cam uses Loop Recording so the old videos are automatically overwritten with new fresh video once the memory gets full. Cheers!
Thanks for the useful video, Alex! Could you tell me the width of your rear view mirror that you show in the initial part of the video? My rear view mirror is 10.2" wide and I am afraid it will jut out from the right side.
You're welcome Ivy! Ah the OEM mirror you see on the video is about 9.5" wide and there is about 1/4" left on the LCD mirror dash cam so if you mirror is less than 9.75" (and trapezoid shaped) it should be fully hidden. However the other solution that is really popular now, is to convert it to a direct mount style so the dash cam replaces the OEM mirror completely. Here is my video for that th-cam.com/video/TtjZ7rC_ncY/w-d-xo.html Cheers!
@@IvysMelodies You're welcome Ivy! The 27 does have more space (if sliding the front camera out) I would say it will hide a mirror with a maximum width of roughly about 10" to 10.25" Cheers!
Thanks S! Ah I have tested a couple ones that do have Carplay. However so far my opinion on this is that I found it uncomfortable to look up to my mirror to see a map vs looking at my mounted phone or the screen on my vehicle if your car has a stereo that supports navigation. The other issue is that CarPlay on a mirror takes up half the mirror screen so now the portion used for the mirror function is now small which maybe ok for backing up imo but difficult to use for a full time rear view mirror. @@AlexAutoFun your reply is exactly what I was looking for. I didn't know it could be inconvenient to look at the mirror for the direction while driving. @@AlexAutoFun Yeah, the Wolfbox G890 is a nice unit but the built-in front facing camera is a no go for me unfortunately. I have installed dashcam by professional with hard wiring but once I turn my car off camera get off and doesn't record until I start the car again. Any suggestions please
Hi Naeem! When correctly hardwired (including the correct hardwire kit) the dash cam will enter park mode if enabled in the dash cam's setting when the car is off. I would have the installer check all the connections (ACC, BATT & GND) to confirm that they connected to the correct locations for ACC and BATT (I seen cases where the dash cam does not enter park mode, if turned off in the settings menu or if ACC and BATT are connected to the incorrect locations that does not provide power at the correct time for both ACC and BATT) Here is my follow up detailed hardwire install if you want to see that process th-cam.com/video/K2iKXj82354/w-d-xo.html Cheers!
Thanks very much,Alex, for your reply, I have installed G840H unit new model, and I have 2022 Ford Lightning electric truck, May be the installer never got a chance to work on this vehicle, and personally, I think yellow wire is on the wrong spot. I will go back to the technician to double-check the connection. I have turned on the parking mode for 24 hours. That means connection is wrong or unit itself. Just one more question: Is this unit supposed to record continuously after you shut off the car, or is it recorded by the G sensor. Thanks, i really appreciate your reply.
@@rohannaeem123 You're welcome! Yeah start with the installer and also contact Wolfbox if you need more tech support. EV's are challenging for some installers as they are not as common as ICE vehicles and some are very sensitive to having anything tap into the EV's electrical systems. But yes when correctly hardwired (including using the correct hardwire kit) the dash cam will enter time lapse park mode if enabled in the dash cam's setting when the vehicle is off. If you need G sensor triggered Parking monitor you will want to go for the G900, here is my full review for it th-cam.com/video/eNK6ujrWWkA/w-d-xo.html Cheers!
Hi sir! I recently bought the Wolfbox G840H and had my mechanic install it, but everytime I turn on the car, the mirror cam does not automatically turn on. My mechanic wired it on the fuse lower left of the steering wheel(not sure what its called), not on the cigar port. How can it turn on automatically when I start my car? I tried turning it off and on by pressing and holding the power button while the car is turned on, but still the same, it won't automatically turn on when I turn on my car.
Hi Young! Ah something is definitely connected incorrectly. When correctly hardwired (with the official hardwire kit) the dash cam will turn off when the car is off and turn on when the car is on. I would have the installer check all the connections (ACC, BATT & GND) to confirm that they connected to the correct locations for ACC and BATT and that the correct hardwire kit was used. Great video! I really like how you explain things Alex. Nicely done. I do find myself very confused though when ascertaining the Wolfbox product lineup. For me, their website and product guide really do not break down their model "specs" very well. It's confusing. In other words, why would I go with the G840H when there is the G850? (Not to mention all the "T" models.)
I think perhaps you may think about doing a video on the best "budget".
Have been using mine and wanted to ask about the following:
Cheers!
Thank you so much. Your videos are exactly what I needed. Will you cover the parking monitoring and GPS!!

Thanks for the detailed review sir. Is there any other similar product with all these G840H + Android auto connectivity option. Please advise me sir
Hi C! Correct, you can have the default view the rear (that is how I have mine setup. And yes using the GPS antenna is fully optional. Cheers!

does it have auto dimming for high beam?
and does it have a battery?
Hi Tayler! Ah yes it could, like this one could be installed in minutes th-cam.com/video/7IED69-078E/w-d-xo.html and capture 360 video and if wanting to install one with a dedicated rear camera, I would place the camera on the inside of the car. hi, the rear camera view is very zoom in, is there anywhere to zoom out the view while driving? thx
Cheers!

Cheers!
@@AlexAutoFun oh perfect thank you. I'd love to see your method.
@@AlexAutoFunnevermind I just saw you said check under community lol
Is there a way to quickly turn it off to use it as a regular mirror?
Hi Angel! Yes there is a button on the bottom of the mirror seen around the 0:55 mark of the video that can be used for that.
Do you have to be in the car to access the app or can you be far from it and still access it
Hi T! Ah Wifi enabled dash cams do not let you see a live view or access the videos while your away from the car. What you are looking for is a Cloud connected dash cam like this one th-cam.com/video/EBLvq2X2SwQ/w-d-xo.html or this one th-cam.com/video/BAEH4f2ulEs/w-d-xo.html (live video, tracking, notifications to your phone etc.) Cheers!
Cheers!
Does this cam have dual recording? If not what models have dual recording.
Hi Robert! Yes, this dash cam will record both the rear and front at the same time.
Cheers!

Hello Alex. Is the WiFi connection possible in G840H model that I purchased in 2021? Also I believe that the Wolfbox updates the software periodically. If so how do I update it for my dashcam. Please reply and thanks in advance.
Hi Rodolf! I'm no sure at what time Wifi was added to the G840H but you can always check with Wolfbox to confirm if your dash cam supports WIFI or not. Cheers!
I was just checking on Amazon and see this model camera but it shows it comes wiry lithium batteries. Did something change? I'm looking for a model that has the wifi feature with capacitor.
Hi Mr Freeze! The previous G840H came with a battery, here is the review for V1 th-cam.com/video/qSRS6dXi85M/w-d-xo.html The new G840H what I call V2 comes with a capacitor (Sellers sometimes take a bit to update their Amazon listings) However I did place the link in the video description to get it from Amazon or direct from Wolfbox. Hey, a quick question. How does it recognise my gear inputs when it’s in Drive and when it’s in reverse? We’re connecting the device to charger via usb c cable, but not to the OBD port right? Please explain how this works?
Hi Marshall! Parking Assist can be enabled by connecting the extra wire to the vehicle's reverse tail light, here what that process looks like th-cam.com/video/LHGxwulIPes/w-d-xo.html Ah yes the mirror is powered by the included adapter or can be connected with a hardwire kit, here is the video for that th-cam.com/video/0KwoF1ZVnsc/w-d-xo.html Cheers!
Hi, do you know of a dash cam wifi to replace the stock now on a LR4 16 and use the power you showed? thanks
Hi Henry! Typically an OEM dash cam can only be replaced by the same OEM dash cam. Aftermarket dash cams use different connections and are typically not compatible with OEM connections or interfaces. Cheers!
Does this voids car warranty?
Cheers!
Hey Alex any experience with the Wolfbox i07?

@@AlexAutoFun good shout. in that case i'll just replace everything
Thank you for the video. I noticed there is Halos around the headlights of vehicles on the rear camera do the other wolf box models do the same thing?

@@kip5588 Hi K! There are conversion kits to mount directly in full replacement of an existing mirror, here you go th-cam.com/video/TtjZ7rC_ncY/w-d-xo.html and if you want further customization of mounting here is a good alternative th-cam.com/video/cCpyHmiZqiY/w-d-xo.html Another option would be to use this one th-cam.com/video/OiqMW1RKCYU/w-d-xo.html since it allows placement of the camera away from obstructions. Hi,, any solution for auto delete old videos.. 🧐🧐
@@AlexAutoFun Thanks! Would the Redtiger T27 (with the extended front cam) be wide enough to accommodate my 10.2" mirror?

Very informative, can you please review some Mirror Dash Cam with CarPlay? my younger brother needs it badly.
Thanks very much,Alex, for your reply,
I have installed G840H unit new model, and I have 2022 Ford Lightning electric truck,
May be the installer never got a chance to work on this vehicle, and personally, I think yellow wire is on the wrong spot.
