      One of my values as an infp is that I'm strongly opposed to forcing people (or being forced). That being said though, I do try to persuade people to take the test so I can, as you say, 'dissect their personality'. :p
      Just beware of only seeing the label, instead of the person. :)
      It also helps btw gaining some proficiency in typing people yourself. That way you don't even have to make people take the test anymore. (Plus, the results of the test can be inaccurate.)

    I think INFPs clean to de-stress because it somehow keeps us focused while we are actually thinking about something else you know? I'm an INFP and I dont know if that makes sense but it's like if i were stressed about something someone said to me doing dishes would help so that i can think about whether i should be mad or not and i feel better after because i vented to myself in my head IDK maybe that's weird lol

    that what happen to me when i am tierd or emotional drained, i can talk so direct that my words can really hurt others from it direct way, that when i try as hard as i can to do one thing and that just not talk, sometimes most time i prevail, but when i am drained way too much, it hard ,becuase later on when you recover you realize and start to feel the pain of others that you caused, need to be carefull everyday life is training to master the control of emotions,atleast the good side is those who know you ,know that if you sayed something it never come from a vile or malicius intend,that most time you peaceful helpful and good but i guess everyone can fall on hard moments,nobody perfect not even us the infps.

    Got Fi-Si looping wrong, it isn't looking for your authentic self but getting stuck in routine. Instead, it's replaying one or more bad memories over and over (Si) and dwelling on those negative emotions (Fi). INFPs break the Si hold by engaging in different experiences.

    You explained the different cognitive functions better than anyone I've seen, and I've seen a LOT, lol! You didn't rattle off a bunch of letters, talk a million miles an hour, and really make it even more confusing, probably because most of them *are* INFP's, and have trouble expressing themselves verbally (me). You just make it clear, and straightforward and orderly. And yes, what everybody else said. The visuals helped tremendously! I really like that, especially since I'm fairly new in this. I totally could be your mother, *totally* lol! Everything! Crafts, changing styles every other month, even job wise. Maybe she's my long lost twin, separated at birth! 🤔 Thanks so much! Loved this! New sub. 👍🏻😁

  • @AML147
    @AML147 5 ปีที่แล้ว +9

    This video is way more helpful than any other video I’ve watched on functions mainly because you had a visual lol I don’t know why but just having that visual plus highlighting which one you’re talking about really helps me focus. Could be my adhd though..not really sure..(and I’m infp)

    • @AML147

      And using real life examples and comparisons helped!

    • @srvntlilly
      @srvntlilly 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You think maybe INFP's have a propensity towards ADD, because of their getting lost in their thoughts, and so can't stay focused? I have it, too.

    • @AML147
      @AML147 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@srvntlilly I definitely think adhd is moreso a personality thing than a mental illness. I think it also varies just as all INFPs vary, as an example. Society today wants us to fit a mold. Like waking up at a certain time. I vibe with your theory. I also have a degree in psych so I’ve thought about it a lot. Also medication is overused because of money. So many people could learn coping strategies which I’ve done for myself. I know some can struggle more than others but there are certainly people on medication when they don’t need to be. That’s my 3:30 am ramble 👍🏻

    Curt under stress, normally laid back - check. If extroverted thinking is the weakness, where does introverted thinking fall for the INFP, because I think a lot- my mind never shuts off - and it jumps seemingly unrelated topics and relates them- I’ll blurt something out because something triggers a memory that comes seemingly out of left field. I thought INFPs have a strong sense of self to where they know exactly who they are, but I see your point about wanting to be their most authentic self. I got INFJ first, then INFP from then on. I think it’s because I have to speak up when something isn’t right or someone is treated unfairly.

    Maybe the website is wrong but I see on peoples Myers Briggs videos saying that (s) stands for sensing which according to the website is wrong as there it instead says observation, also as an infp I think he might be getting us a lil mixed with infjs aka advocates, as he said we speak out and advocate for causes or people that get walked over but that’s more of an infj thing aka the advocates while instead we as infps are more centered around creativity and individuality keeping ourselves, our true selves to ourselves. Myers Briggs describes us as peace keepers aka mediators but advocators I we aren’t necessarily as that’s the infj also our last letter isn’t perceiving rather instead it’s called prospecting, aka searching I’ve come to find types with this letter more open to new unexplored stuff and ideas
