"They got like a small orchestra"
They've played several shows with a full orchestra. Best show I've ever been to

It’s really worth reading the lyrics on pretty much every song they write. Maybe not during the song, because then you miss the crazy instrumental stuff, but afterwards, I’d suggest reading them. Very powerful, thought-provoking stuff.

100% agree. Especially if you follow politics and religious stuff.

I have fallen absolutely in love with this band. The horn section is so. So. TIGHT. I can't wait for next month to see them live! Love the reaction, as always, bois!
I have to recommend Point/Counterpoint, Keasbey Nights (live shows they like to start P/C and play KN in the middle, then finish out P/C; it's wild and fantastic), We Will Fall Together, Would You Be Impressed?, A Moment of Silence/A Moment of Violence, The Hands That Thieve, Somewhere in the Between, and their covers of Hell by Squirrel Nut Zippers and Punk Rock Girl by Dead Milkmen. This is such an amazing rabbit hole to tumble down!

It’s basically impossible to find a good live video of them, especially the P/C Keasby mashup. But I wholeheartedly agree that it is their best piece of music!

This outro is so damn powerful. Wonderful song that remains respectful while not promoting suicide in any way.
"And it makes me sick when I think of it
All my heroes could not live with this
And I hope you rest in peace
Because with us you never did
And K.D.C. (Kurt Donald Cobain), you were much too young
    And you changed my life
But I draw the line at suicide
    Here's to life!"
Here's to life indeed. To all of you, creative and sensitive people, take care and hang on. Great pick!

The whole song is about people who changed the world for the better but ultimately ended up committing suicide.

I dig this whole album but "Here's To Life" is perhaps my favorite track on it. I was blow away immediately by the message and how fuckin groovy it is.

Like most of their songs the melody is based off of music from Eastern Europe. In this case it's a Balkan folk melody. This reprise of the BOTAR song is their best song and I began listening to them in 2003 when they began.

Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution of this song is better and hits much harder imo. Its mostly the same band, just orchestral acoustic instruments instead (violin, viola, cello etc).
