Those sour grapes will turn to wine, it's all just vinegar in time... ... that was always my friends favourite line by streetlight... I'll always remember the day he introduced me to them... Played me 10 seconds and I was hooked on what would become my favourite band... Rest in peace Bobby... I miss you every day brother but I'm still rocking out to streetlight almost every day all these years later and I'll always be grateful you made me listen...
This is of my all time favourite bands. This particular song is amazing and it probably wouldn't even get in my top 20 songs of Streetlight! Hope you check more from them.
Nothing like seeing someone listen to Streetlight for the first time. I still remember when my friend handed me his headphones and told me I HAD to listen to this shortly after their first album came out. Best band, period. Listen to all of it, like you are with Bad Religion.
It's so easy to get lost in the horns, but the bass player is pushing a walking base line at a fast tempo. Love Streetlight, I've seen them so many times before and after their split from victory
Tomas Kalnoky is the best compeser of our time !!!! If you are lucky enought to catch this band live DO IT!!!!! You will not regret it!! glad to see new people listening and sharing keep going it only gets better !!!!!
This is one of those rare bands that started out good and has progressively gotten better with each album. This was their second most recent album, and The Hands that Thieve was the most recent. Those two albums really show how far they’ve evolved as musicians and how much complexity they can work in. And every single song they write, they slave over and tweak and re-write and re-record until they feel like it’s reached their extremely high standard of quality. These guys are as passionate and talented as musicians get. Definitely recommend checking out more of them, even if it’s just in your personal lives. Reactions would be cool, but even if you don’t react to them, just let yourselves get enveloped in their music. This isn’t even close to their best song IMO but it’s still crazy good, because they don’t let themselves slack off and write half-hearted filler songs.
This is possibly my very favorite streetlight song, and thats so tough to say cause I really love every song they've ever done. Keep going down the rabbit hole!!
LOVE THEM! ❤❤❤ I still get chills all these years later. Please do yourselves a favor and have the lyrics handy for their songs bc they can get a little dense/fast. Id love for y'all to check out Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution- Acoustic ska punk accompanied by an orchestra 🎉
I saw these guys live like 2 or 3 weeks ago and it was one of the best experiences of my live. Streetlight manifesto is probably my second favorite band only beat by Days n' Daze
(both get half because the genuine excitement in hearing this for the first time mirrored mine). Best ska band around. Ska/punk is correct. Believe it or not, this isn't even one of their best songs IMO. Amazing talent on every instrument and masterful song writing. Lyrically brilliant as well. Catch 22 was their first band and has some stuff worth checking out also. Songs I'd recommend next: As the Footsteps Die Out Forever, We Will Fall Together, Down, Down, Down to Mephisto's Cafe, Somewhere in the Between, Keasbey Nights, Supernothing.
Streetlight Manifesto is one of those bands where you can literally watch people become smarter by listening to their music. The Bois gained a second braincell with this one

Yall gotta listen to "Point / Counterpoint" by them. Or do a comparison vid between Catch22's and Streetlight's "Keasbey Nights". "9mm and a Three Piece Suit" would also be a dope comparison.

Its my no. 1 lol. The sign of a good band is how differing the fans' opinions on what the best stuff is..
For me it’s “here’s to life” or “the littlest things”
Seriously. I don't think they have a bad song
Tow to toe for me, followed by the three of us
OH MAN. This is probably up there "What's the meaning of life?". One foot on the gas, one foot in the grave or Kristina She Don't Know I Exist.

Streetlight kicks ass :D
Definitely the most underrated band of all time.

I don’t know that I have ever heard anything by them that I don’t like. They definitely get the heart beats rising.

For me it's the exact opposite. SM #1 and Days #2
@@RodrigoRamone01 you've got good taste my friend
These guys I believe are classified as 3rd wave ska
