I think you have the right car already...crushingly fast and just as happy to creep around MC. If you were a track-day enthusiast the GT3 might make sense....but for your use, Turbo every day. (IMO)
I’ve had both (turbo and gt3), although older gen. They are NOTHING alike, IMO. The turbo is heavy, soft, AWD, and brutally fast. The gt3 is quick, but more importantly, it’s alive. You DRIVE the gt3. The turbo just takes you places; with epic effectiveness, yes, but I don’t think people drive their turbos much just for the experience. I didn’t. TBH, for the role a turbo plays, I’d rather have something gorgeous, like an Aston.
I have driven a 911 Carrera 4S before but never the GT3 or Turbo. Given that the GT3 is far more track oriented than the Turbo, what is the GT3's ride like on the road? is it harsh and beats the tar out of you? Or, is it a livable ride over bumpy pavement? Thank you in advance
I've not driven the 992 GT3 so can't comment other than take what others have said who own or have test driven them, they are a brilliant car to drive, a sharp knife compared to a Turbo S, however as an owner of a 992 Turbo S and previous owner of a 991.2 Turbo S the latest 992 version is a brilliant package, not the sharpness of a GT3 but you won't be disappointed and just so useable anywhere, no ground clearance worries, very little constant noise, just a comfortable pleasant place to be with devastating performance, the turn in is also a million miles on from the previous gen car.
By the way, the best porsche you can buy at this time is the new 992 4 GTS full options it cost 195000 Gross - around 6 % if you order one in germany at any porsche zentrum and you can take it as a Convertible the price I wrote is for a Cabrio with all xtras without PCCB
I want a Targa GT3 n/a with Turbo S interior. Luxury grand touring with no roof and insane sound track. Now I just need a million dollars to have someone build it.
GT3, you are clearly having more fun in the drivers car ( although maybe a GT3RS would be even more of a Scud replacement) . Turbo S is a weapon, but with an advanced AWD system does so much of the work for you and becomes a blunt tool once you get used to the performance..
The rear-wheel-drive witht he GT3 is just unparalleld. If you are lucky and drice it with a manual gearbox, it is even more fun!!! And I know how good the PDK is... 😉
This all old junk ! Buy New or nothing, there worlds between believe me test ist befor you buy. The Turbo s is allways the better car if you not go for track days and you have AWD thats important if you go in the Sea alps in the winter

Definitely more of a GT3 person, Seb is really good at simplistic reviews.
For daily use I would prefer turbo s, sound could be upgraded if needed

Gt3 is my dream car but the turbo/turbo s is the best out of the two for daily use

Now am about the same right now, love the look of the 2022 GT3 RS and the natural aspirated engine but am also thinking of the turbo s.
For what you do with your car you made the right choice.
The GT3 has ruined me for every car I have driven. It’s balance of power, handling, and braking is excellent.

You're half way to having both, it's good to have goals. Turbo S for daily and a GT3 for track would complete your garage.

Never drove any of these models but for the GT3 ticks all the boxes and could be the most desirable.
Turbo S for daily and GT3 for weekend fun!! Really hard to only have one of them!! If you have a Turbo you would miss the GT3 and vice versa!!
