      What is more disgusting is her attitude towards the prosecutors, arrogant and incompetent, and so brazen in her handling of the case. She’s blatantly throwing her presence around as if she’s more qualified, than everyone . And like it or not she will not give up the case ,she stands to lose more now, she can be removed by Congress and then she won’t even get a pension.

      And Judge Cannon is also a problem. She makes every concession to trump. I think she is hoping he will win in November and get rid of the case after he takes office so she is relieved of her duty. It's either that scenario or he is paying her off to slow walk the case. It's despicable.

      Please, neither of you ever feel alone, or unique in the pushback/poorly constructed rhetoric! Unfortunately, I reside on the last few upper N streets, 12 miles from downtown Denver, yet IN CO D-4. Prior, I resided in CO D-3 (both for a decade+), & I find myself always & forever searching for ways to improve my District’s political positions/policies/voter turnout.

      I’m in N. Alabama and the day I heard the RNC was putting Donald Trump on the ticket I immediately cancelled my voters registration and registered later to vote Democratic. I don’t intend to ever vote republican again because it’s only gotten worse. I’m not thrilled with Biden but he’s been there fifty years and never tried to become a dictator. I’m not pleased that he’s a Zionist but so is the ‘other’ candidate. I don’t think the fact we’ve got two guys the age of these two candidates is an accident either when there are younger ppl who would be far more viable as the nations leader. Jill Stein is awesome and Gov. Andrew Cuomo would be much better leader than either Biden or Trump. If Trump had been arrested on Jan 6 for the traitor he is, like the others he incited were arrested. We likely wouldn’t have had to see or hear from him again. And certainly wouldn’t have to sweat over him being in office again as a traitor/felon/dictator who committed a COUP d’ Ata. Which Jan 6 was because weapons and death occurred it wasn’t just an insurrection. I’m not happy with the justice system right now dragging their feet and these corrupt judges both Aileen Canon and the SCOTUS. Something smells fishy and I know who it is. Y’all do know if he gets back in office, American Democracy is over for good! And that is very sad for the young ppl.

      b/c, after being asked to provide input, I pointed out that the official DEM platform read exactly as a 2015 GOP platform, plus refused to address Women & Families Reproductive Access to Healthcare (my educational & career focus). I noted the topic is “prickly,” yet when 1:3 women suffer miscarriages, ectopic pregnancies, not fully expelled miscarriages, + 1:4 college-aged students experience at least one “acquaintance SA” episode, etc etc… We ALL know family/friends/colleagues who hv suffered, myself included, & that ignoring the national issues felt unwise-I was TOLD that CO protects these rights, so WHY bother to bring up… 🙆🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♀️ Some days I just ‘can’t,’ but a day or two later; back in the fight!

    It is SO lovely and encouraging (thrilling, really) to hear from a calm, articulate Alabaman with basic sanity and a strong moral compass. And this ongoing drumbeat of voter suppression and deception is simply unbearable without some kind of help, including professional help! 🤦‍♂️🙏 (Btw, I'd take the gentle lady's recommendations on a good therapist any day!)

    When Mark asked what the individual can do and he said we feel helpless, I started to cry. I’m still crying because that’s exactly how I feel. I’m involved in local groups but it seems so aggressive out there and you just can’t have a conversation without it turning ugly. 🥺

    • @LynnMiddleton-ns4dg
      @LynnMiddleton-ns4dg 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I know how you feel. Up in the mountains of North Carolina where IQ isn’t exactly high and Meth addiction is rampant as is domestic abuse, Trump is popular, Fauci’s name can be heard in connection with “the jab”, the border invaders with Mexicans getting free apartments, food etc. Having been living in Mexico as expats for five years we know better and also know it’s ridiculous to think any illegals are getting free anything except maybe water. What we do notice however is we’ve only seen one political sign and it was for Kennedy. Gone are the Trump flags and yard signs but the rhetoric remains. However fear is also pervasive on both sides which did surprise me. So not all Trumpers are out for blood thankfully and honestly what they fear I’m not exactly clear on and I don’t think they are either. Conversations are cautious and in low tones in public. People are hesitant to outright show their choice like before it was more in your face. Everyone seems afraid of violence on both sides which maybe the thing that saves us from all out bloodshed and violence. I’m hoping that healthy fear of death keeps everyone a little saner after the election.

    • @18_rabbit
      @18_rabbit 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      yeah it's called normal thought. So many ppl have been 'affected' by the gaslighting and bullying/pressure the new-right has attempted to put on the nation. We MUST RESIST IT or we lose not just elections, but the entire social fabric and thus socioeconomic system that is our local communities, employment relationships, everything potentially. THIS is real anthropology sociology etc and we need to wake the fk up. These new paramilitaries that grew over the past decade are REAL. I"m a middle aged white guy who has been able to mingle a bit in every part of society. These fascists have had to be very very quiet of course forever so they could be free to operate until such a time as they deemed perfect to pounce. Document everything u see. If u see something this election season, try to document it, but at least report it and not just to local popo! Also to your attorney general's office, and your state rep's offices or even your governor. Many state rep's/congressional reps are super busy now and possibly won't even see your emails until after election! So we must be proactive now. These ppl are trying to literally steal our elections since 2016 or at least 2020.
