As an Ipswich supporter, we will go to Coventry, helped by the fact that they played with ten men for some time at Blackburn, that they have played a lot of games in a short space of time, that they have mouthing to play for, and that it is NOT their last home game.
It was a shame we didn't get the win at Hull, but what a great advert for the quality of the football in the Championship, credit to both teams for a fine game of football, and special mention to the referee who was outstanding.
We have scored 189 goals in the last 90 league games, losing just 10 games, so whilst we have to work hard at Coventry, we are not going to lose that game.
Hopefully we can get two ahead, and not be going into the last ten minutes drawing, just in case!
The atmosphere at Portman Road on Saturday will be phenomenal and we will batter Huddersfield, who are effectively relegated, as they will not be able to beat us 10-0.
Ipswich win tuesday then ..Up..🤔 Great story if it happens 👍👍👍
The chaos behind the scenes at Leeds at the start of the season has cost them, not sure much can be levelled at the manager
I have posted many times this season on various content, that Ipswich would get promoted, and the Leeds supporters who respected Ipswich and that we were a threat, fear play, to the Leeds supporters who said that Ipswich were crap and we were a L1 team and would fall away.......mmmm
I’m sure with our defending, McKenna has probably wanted to smash plexiglass plenty of times but there aren’t many dugouts left with it!!!
Cifuentes is runner up for manager of the year for me, behind Mc Kenna, and Rohl not far behind.
Ipswich in driving seat. Can afford to draw against Coventry and then it's in their own hands.
Ipswich ❤
Are u both Derby fans?
QPR have been outstanding in surviving, as have Sheffield Wednesday, assuming they stay up, and the play offs are interesting, as Southampton, Leeds, WBA and Norwich are all hobbling, and Hull would be dangerous if they get into the play offs
I love it, absolutely no defence!!!!
Do they talk about the swans game vs Norwich
As an ipswich supporter i would of been more happy if Coventry had made it to the fa cup final ,as they would of rested players and aslo players not going in so hard as not to get injured,
Out of the 3 clubs we had to play , Coventry where the ones that worried me the most ,
our recruitment has been poor this season? hermansen, fatawu , mavididi & winks have all been good this season. only poor transfer was coady.
Coady might not have played much but he was so important in the dressing room. A great leader
@@saucerv2674 agreed, but he did cost 10m. expensive person just to have in the dressing room
Could be a reasonable season for QPR next season. Clarke-Salter and Cook along with the others and maybe another centre back and definitely a cross corner commanding goalie and thats a tight defence for next year. Already have a solid and creative midfield another defensive midfielder who scores the odd goal and 2 strikers who can get 20 goals between them and thats a top 10 side maybe more under Cifuentes. Thoughts
Agree, think we get top 10 next season. Since marti came in we've been hanging just outside the playoffs on form and I can't believe he has us this high already after what ainsworth did to the squad. Everyone had downed tools, it felt inevitable we go down and now the squad looks like they're best mates and genuinely believe in marti's vision. Our transfer ban finally runs out from 2013 promotion and potentially eze could get sold which we have a clause in. Our new CEO seems to be smart af so i'd trust any signings he brings in even when funds are tight. Genuinely think top 10 should happen. The deadwood in our club has been washed out, good decisions finally being made. Long may it continue
Top 6.. maybe top 2
Justin is talking crap, frankly, and losing the fewest games int he championship, and scoring the most goals, the most points ever from a promoted L1 team, the first EFL team to get 90 points back to back....still anti...we are not showing nerves, the opposite playing well against Boro and at Hull
If Bojan Radulovic is locked to Hudds also in the case of a relegation, he should score around 20 goals in league 1.
Leicester city going win league night with 6000 away fans on Monday
Justin is hilarious.
'I don't trust Ipswich, they let in too many goals' - looking likely to play in Prem next year, due to the fact they outscore opponents.
'Derby will be fine next year, best defence in League 1, they just don't score many' - sounds awfully like Sheff Weds...not quite in the same position as Ipswich.
Does sound awfully like 'Derby are bigger than Ipswich, so I am going to talk down Ipswich at every opportunity'.
Lol.
Ipswich got lucky yet again.
Morton connects with the ball he clears it and Hull would've won.
Wow 45 lucky games so far and counting..... keep chewing that lemon!
You two take the biscuit. Leeds haven't bottled it apparently, but of course Leicester would have if they'd failed. Leeds lost half a squad, but fail to mention that so did Leicester. (Plus Leeds and Ipswich were able to strengthen in January whilst Leicester weren't). Enzo a fraud?! The man has just got us promoted playing a completely different style of football with a much changed squad. Then it transpires you're Derby fans. Now i understand......
Leicester def would have coz at one point they were up by 17 points in the season
@@ArdenJ - That sort of form was never sustainable. It's a tough league and every team has had dips in form. And besides that, we didn't bottle it, did we?
Leeds fans all doom and gloom, we (Ipswich) with our defence could quite easily lose to Coventry who have a real decent forward line.
Then going into the final game it will be in their hands against a saints team who are in terrible form. Things in football can change very quickly.
If we had beaten Hull it would have been done. But what a game for the neutral and advert for the championship.
Recruitment poor what are you on about 😂 the agenda is real. You really do hate Leicester
I don't think these guys do. Not sure where this has come from?
You trolling? Apparently leeds havent bottled it despite the start of the season these guys saying Leeds had the best squad but apparently Leicester have? They also said we didnt have to deal with the squad turnover Leeds had....slightest bit of research would suggest thats not true@@s-b6218
@@s-b6218 You obviously aren't a regular viewer/listener. They've been spouting a distinctly anti Leicester narrative for some time. Pretty sad really.
@petertaylorson5783 I watch now and then, I'm a big fox fan. Any specifics that come to mind?
@@s-b6218 More often than not it's City apparently having a Premier League squad despite us losing a complete team full of players pre-season which they conveniently ignore Plus failing to give us any credit for adapting to a completely different style of football under a new manager who it seems they also have some sort of beef with. A wearisome reluctance in general to give credit where credits due. I really shouldn't bother giving them the time of day.
