Watching Enzo le Fee against Boro was a delight, then for Regis le Bris to admit he's only 70% match fit at the moment is really exciting for the coming weeks.

Yeah Enzo Le Fee is an amazing signing for us, he is very much too good for Championship. Only thing we missed on was the need for another striker, we missed out on Connor and Diaz both going to Sheffield United and then seemed to lack direction as to who to go for and ran out of time. We do you a really good prospect in Isidor but he isn't the finished article yet, probably two years before we see his best. The lack of cover concerns me, especially the amount of injuries we picked up mid season - fully fit our first squad ranks in the top two for the league, we just never had them all fit once we got past the first 12 games. We also let two strikers go in the window with the expectation of bringing in at least one improvement. Reminds me of when Reidy had us challenging Man Utd for the Premiership only for Martin Keown to give Niall Quinn one of his reducers to the back and that was Quinn out for most of the games and our title hopes with him.

Isidor was 3.5 m

Delighted to have secured Le Fee and made Isidor permanent - £3.35m was the figure reported locally. Also think the Jayden Danns signing on loan from LFC could turn out to be a really key addition too. SAFC have put together a superbly talented young squad now and in the process built a great reputation across England as thee club for young talent. Long may it continue. Haway The Lads!

Personally thought Cannon was a redundant signing for Sheff U (and overhyped), The Blades now have at least 6 strikers all of whom would hope to start when fit so we've decided to start playing them as midfielders. Hopefully it won't upset the status quo too much. having said that both of Brereton and Choudhury should've made this list.

Amazed that Sunderland manged to get Enzo Le Fée and really looking forward to the rest of the season. Sunderland showing real intent with the permanent signing of Wilson Isidor in addition to the Enzo Le Fée loan, may not be enougth to get them up but we are in for some exiting weeks as long as they both stay fit.

Armstrong was also on loan at Coventry under Tony Mowbray.Scored 21 goals that season.

Matt Grimes is a good signing for Coventry City. They also have Sheaf, Wright & EMC almost ready to return from injury.

Sunderland made the right decision turning down offers for Watson because 1. We wouldn’t have been able to replace him and promotion is the biggest goal 2. We sell him in the summer if we don’t get promoted or we sell him when we get promoted for double the amount offered 3. We somehow convince him to stay in the next few months

We all know why. It's because ot TV revenue. Premier League cats alot of cash flow from Sky Sports and Amazon. Meanwhile barely any games are telivised for championship teams and other leagues below. Most team a relying on streaming their own games with their own commentary teams but most people don't want to pay £20 or something stupid when they can get illegal streams online. That's why there's less revenue and a bigger gap between premier league and championship. Also premier league relegation teams get a hefty parachute bonus that means they're finally better off that all of the other teams in the championship which likely means and has been the case for most years that the relegated teams go straight back up the next year
