I think Jacob Stockdale is returning to his best form with a much improved defensive awareness - a pity that he and Izuchukwu (especially) had to leave injured. I hope that Andy Farrell includes these 2, Cooney, and Doak on the SA Tour. Ross Byrne had a better performance today but his kicking from hand in defense was average at best (a couple of slices and a failure to find touch). Henshaw, Lowe, JGP, JVDF, McCarthy stood out for me - interesting observation by Tim (Eggchasers) in his preview of this game. He asked whether Caelan Doris' form had dipped recently.
Can anyone explain why Ulster go for 3 points when Leinster are 17 ahead? Ross Byrne is not an international level fly half. Strange that a team which has some of the best players in the world haven’t got a pivotal position sorted. It’s weird how British and Irish teams always lack one key area. It’s killing us against SA and New Zealand (I rate Crowley btw but he’s raw and the only one)
