Utilizing the "Stop" command makes my head spin just thinking about it! I have a learning disability+on the spectrum so things stick best with audio feedback, which unfortunately you don't really get to customize too much in League. I'll find a way to make this work for me though because I play League for the strategy aspects and this sounds like it can add to that a ton!
I've gotten much better at kiting since swapping my A click to spacebar though, since the large key gives irl audio feedback to help me keep a rhythm (i.e: 7:30 "downbeat/upbeat") and stay comfortable during high stress moments. If there's anyone out there reading this that's like me, maybe it's something you can try too~

@@JavierPwns im 34 with 3 Kids , a house and a wife. I still manage to get to high plat every season i play more than my placement games. Im totally satisfied with my results man.
That's the point of working on this early in your career. So you struggle developing good habits, instead of struggling developing bad ones that will be painful to unlearn later.

Sometimes when I'm feeling depressed and feel like the whole world is against me. I pick luigi and wavedash back and forth across the stage on final destination.

Ironically, s feels great for me for stopping. Used to it but listening to daddy Neacey I got a secondary stop button on the side of the mouse, too.

Hi Neace! Love the content. In order for us to be able to more quickly find guides that are better suited to us (in actual coaching sessions) would it be possible to include a small rank gauge in your titles?
NEACE has already said he won't add a 'small rank gauge' or anything similar to that. The reason is because if he adds that, then he will lose viewers. He will lose viewers because people will only watch videos that is in their respective elo's. Now not everyone will only watch games in their respective elo's but it's safe to assume most people will start targeting their elo videos only. The only way NEACE will add a rank in his title is if the title is like: "I can't believe this Silver player is not Platinum". This won't happen often so it's okay to do it once in a while.

Neace I know its been a while since you made these, but could you make a "Escape your elo" vid for support role?
instead of A+leftclick you could also shift+rightclick...way easier since you already using rightclick to orbwalk anyways...so all you have to adjust ist pressing and holding down shift to attack move ;)
Ooh, that could be nice. I've been annoyed with A + left click since I don't want to move my fingers from QWE so I've been using just left click for attack move. It's been working well for me but the downside is that now for some dumb reason I have to press shift along with my ping commands to use them and some pings seem disabled altogether. Also I don't get the indicator, which probably hurts me more than I know. Using shift instead of A might be a nice solution
@@danielhughes3758 have to mention with shift you also dont have the a-click indicators. so you shouldve a mindmap regarding how far your aa range actually is.
Hey neace have you seen Nick Link, a Brazilian jax mono, going from bronze to master in a 60 hour stream? He made like a summarized version of it in his TH-cam channel, really interesting stuff and super relevant against people saying luck is all on league.
Good content as always. I've been doing a little bit of casual coaching of a friend who's too scared to join you on stream. (I'm mid master, Grandmaster peaker) as a jungle/support. Mostly working on concepts right now but this video will be a required watch if we are gonna continue :)

Never tried using stop like that. That one also seems among the hardest to properly utilize. I think I'll try it, j ust need to find a good button for it - I use my middle mouse and 2 extra mouse buttons for items and wards, which has served me quite well and noticeably improved my item use. Capslock might be a good button for stop.

I use my toggle attack champs only and a left click when I fight them.
I prefer player attack move click being on my thumb mouse button, as ive already learning to move command with my mouse so it is similiar. S meaning Stop just makes also.

Just curious why stop command on mouse click is better than on S?
They added an attack-move-click and I have it bound to A. I used to try to learn Attack move A and it was super difficult. Now I can kite by just A, right click, A right click. It's much easier than the old Attack move.
I will add that I played for 10 years and only peaked D5 before trying to utilize attack move. Now that they added this one change, kiting is as easy on everyone as it is on Zeri.

when playing league how do you place your hands on the keyboard? the way I do I cannot use SHITF QWER as cast with indicator. Does that mean I'm placing my hands wrong on the keyboard?
i need a better gaming mouse with more buttons because using the keyboard for stop movement and level ups and shift q it just doesnt feel natural holding shift or a to click while also trying to be ready to use my abilites i feel like its too many hand adjustments and causes too many flubs due to human error

Im stupid, i trying to use that shift+click command and wonderer why my character doesnt move from a specific spot. Realize i havent seeing the video and understand it the correct way. Say you need to click normally to get away so the correct kite on champ is:
shift+click release the shift then click where you need to run.

It's great for checking bushes! Your character will walk in and auto anything in there instead of you tryna find and click em once you get vision.
What's wrong with using "stop command" with s, instead of a mouse button? Or is the first tip simply about USING the stop command
It's a preference thing I think, Neace uses it on a mouse button so I would assume he feels more comfortable recommending it to his clients
Nothing necesarrily wrong, just more efficient if your thumb isn't already using that key for sth else, also you might have to click W (assuming you use your middle finger like I do) right at the moment you are spamming S so you're saving some ms in response time
I think It has to do with keeping all movement on your mouse hand while leaving your fingers on QWER
Don’t use S for stopping but use A for attack move. Why not attack move on left click, then?
@@BBountyHunter Because there are times you want to move, and not attack. Leaving Right Click alone allows that to be the default, and you are doing it with one hand.

Do you use four fingers on q w e r or three? bc shift is so hard to hit if your using 3 and is there an alternative?
It bothers me that TCA(target champs only) doesn't work with AMC(attack move click), why doesn't that work?
I mean because it targets the closets thing, what if you want to hit the minion? Or the jungle camp? It doesn't make sense why it would target the champion instead

For the extra toxic Leauge players, I suggest putting the Laught button on the macro part of the mouse. Instead of the stop button. AS the laugh macro does the same thing, but it will piss the enemy off that you are laughing right before you get a last hit.

You're missing a LOT of skill shots. Maybe mouse sensitivity is too high, but there's a real easy fix: hold your mouse over the target for half a second like you're playing a flight sim and trying to get a target lock. When your cursor is over enemy units they'll get a red outline around them. The skillshot will still miss if they dash or immediately dodge with enough movement speed, but at least this way you can be sure it would've hit where there were standing instead of going wild.
I don't know why this kind of optimization is always so hard for me to do in games, it's so much harder to kite, shooting as you move on an adc, doing it the direct click way. Just so much harder. Yet I have known about this for a while and never done it, because I would have to relearn the game. I was clicking my hotbar on world of warcraft until I got called out and shamed over it.

Huh? These settings are the way you play RTS games, which are the father of mobas.
I think at this level you really should just play Annie, or something that you can at least farm on. These dudes miss so much cs you're going to literally autowin 90% of games if you're the only one not missing 2/3rd of the minion gold. Maybe it wont benefit you as much in the long run as learning the hard way but most people fail way before then anyhow.
It doesn't really matter that much tho, it just takes some time to naturally learn this game's fundamentals
Plus you have to play a champ you like, is a game after all.

Don't go Luden's into Yasuo on Ahri - Everfrost goes through his windwall and you can just ult through the wall to charm him easily! Overall Everfrost is just so good at cucking people

But i dont have to press "a" to auto bc my auto is on l click, and move is on r click, and with auto on cursor setting why do I need to press "a"?
If you do a left click you don’t have to actually click on the target, you can click in the attack range circle on the floor and will automatically attack the nearest target. This will make misclicks more forgiving and just faster reaction in General as far as I’m aware

@@entropyfun I do that too and it's very nice. The downside I've noticed is that you don't get the indicator that A (or another key) gives and it makes certain pings awkward as the game forces you to press shift when you want to ping. Some pings don't even work for me, which is getting very annoying. If you know a fix for that I'm very interested
@@danielhughes3758 For indicator I use shift + ability, and yes u have to use shift for map clicking but not for pings since they are on alt. But im a noob, maybe im not aware of some pings?

Isn't "Player Attack Move Click" a better option than pressing A, and then left clicking? I bound Player Attack Move Click to my side mouse button and kite using that setup. Maybe I'm missing something but this way seems more efficient with less actions needed.

How is pressing A for attack move better then attack move on left click? Why not use that instead?
with A it basically autolocks the closest enemy so you only press A and click for kite and not specific click and second click
@@sdrthom3520 there is a setting that essentially changes your left click to A+click. The downside is all your typical left click actions need shift pressed to work.

A new player doesn't have the muscle memory of S. Objectively, stop command on the mouse with your otherwise unused thumb is much better than your keyboard hand which now doesn't have to possibly dance around to S and abilities / items in a fight.

Yeah that's many years of muscle memory of S to fight haha. Starting from 0, mouse is superior just because your thumb is free.
