    What really helps with getting exp range down is turning on the visual popup for exp in the game settings. Made a big difference when I was learning.

    Forward and backward movement is something that you usually learn naturally and never know about. Get on a diff champ you int your ass off cause you aren't following it. IIf you look at a lot of high elo players, they do a mix of going forward and back vs. side to side. It's not nearly as hard a rule as Neace makes it out to be, but it's certainly one of many things that help newer players get a grasp on effective range and playing with it.

    • @Nuvizzle
      @Nuvizzle 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@sidenote1459 Higher elo players will know when they have to move side to side to dodge something. In low elo stuff just happens seemingly at random and everyone shrugs and moves on with their day. Trying to explain the nuance of movement patterns to low elo players is a waste of time at their level when the majority of time dancing back and forth just out of range is the best way to move so they might as well master it first.

    • @sidenote1459
      @sidenote1459 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Nuvizzle my point is that it's really just 50/50, but the thing is, strafing is a concept that's way more common and, imo, universal, which is why most players default to "side to side" movement. Back and forth movement is something you do to play with engagement range, which is a concept seen in fighters and MOBAS and that's about it. Two much smaller video game genres.
      However, that doesn't mean it's more important, it's just less intuitive to your average gamer. Side to side is just as important as back n forth, just side to side doesn't usually need to be explained as to why it's important.

    • @danielglidewell

      Sometimes I feel like I back and forth TOO much as an adc. I kinda just do it by habit because I instinctually move back between autos while CSing, but I’ve realized I’m missing certain opportunities to stay up and apply pressure even if the enemy autos me while I’m reloading my auto because I can stay in range and get the trade. I never thought about why I moved the way I did so it never occurred to me before.

    The stop command and the faking attacks are a big thing in dota since you can stop before any spell animation so I've always used it... I noticed that people in lol don't abuse it as they should. Then again in lol you can't always do it since some animations you can't cancel.

Anyway, since I've played dota for so long I use the stop command and those things but in lol there are more restrictions. I would love to be able to cancel Darius Q and E mid animation to bait some flashes, but of course flash takes 5 min to refresh so it would be a broken mechanic. I disabled Auto attack in my first season and only recently did I think about it's benefits. It helps to farm while watching the map, especially if you kill minions or monsters quickly with autoattacks. I learned about stop command when someone started spam-cancelling autos on Viktor. This is how I visualise it for myself.
    You go to the gamingstore, buy a videogame, you play it but you just don’t understand what your ABXY buttons do. So instead of looking on the internet, trying stuff out ingame, you go back to the store to buy a manual that explains you what your buttons do for $250,-,. The manual does contain a section where it has an indepth learningcurve about the game, but you aren’t ready for it yet and throw away your guide, having only read what your basic commands do.

      yes, that line can apply anywhere in the lane. It doesn't have to be smack dab in the middle of the lane. Just as someone primarily trying to snag farm, the middle is the safest line. The key point is to not hang out in dangerous areas when you either don't have any cd's left because they are being used for farming/poking, or don't have potential to engage anyways (like when playing defense on wave).

    I'd be curious to see a bronze player, and a diamond player in a game with Neace, and ask them to coach a VoD of a gold player who also wants training then rotate through their gameplay, so each of them may pick something else up as well as debate on certain things so Neaces sanity is intact as well as make 3x the money.. Bones is that he would have 3 technical psychologists to deal with the stress of yelling alone. Lol

      It would be pointless, often times a higher rank player only better in mechanical skills, its an exact difference, they could not debate on this. Macro skills is a whole different story, u could have better macro than a better player have, just for example u play too many champions, dont otp something so u dont have that champion mechanical routine, but in macro level u know the game as well as a better player. Its my personal case, i know what to do, how to finish the game, how to put pressure on opponent team so we can end before 70th min, know what meaningless in terms of win or lose, dont everextend, dont chase a single enemy into their jungle for about 30 sec, always priorize obejctives, ward them before fights, etc etc. so i do so many things in macro level, i think so much better then my teammates in most cases, but in mechanical level i need to improve, i just cant click fast enought sometimes, i forget active items like zhonya, cant hit with skillshots etc. so mechanical deficiency. So these are just interesting point of views.

      It just adds to their zone. The zone of someone like a Velkoz is somewhat simple, it just changes based on flash and cds. The zone of someone like rammus becomes trickier. It's, can we win if he engages on us right here. If we can't, then can we get to a turret or enough reinforcements before he gets to us. So a ghost chemtank rammus, nunu, hecarim, may have an absurd zone, which then shrinks dramatically if you're hoping for a fight.

      @@vortraz2054 yea theres a time when i was playing League and then my laner sarcastically said "i dont care!" and i was like bro chill and then my jungler was telling strategies in the chat then we went to herald and we got it. I also found out in one game that sometimes people will be helpful one time I played Jayce against Garen then my bot said to my support that they should ward the bush then my game got disconnected very sad. I played one custom game with my friend last week and we talk a lot of stuff and played 1v1's and play more games i think he was playing lee sin and zed and Im playing favorite champ in the game yuumi. Sometimes when im browsing the client sometimes i hear stuff randomly so i turn the volume down. In laning, people should learn to be on offense and be pro active on the map and gain tempo constantly, often times this would be the midlane teammate

    If u are playing league daily for multiple years u should be Master-challenger level player, if u are lower level there is something wrong,,, since even if u are playing just for fun u should improve after thousands of hours played and multiple years playing league,,, even if u just play for fun u should learn and improve,,, and reach high elo Master+ without any problem, diamond =good basics of the game, Master - Challenger = good basics +macro knowledge experience and decision making,,, its easy if u are not dumb to be challenger level player but it takes a LOT of time,,, even most "pro players" are just players who played a LOT of league, most of them are not even that special,, there are just not many players who are playing league 10+years and 10k +hours with using brain and actually learning how league works and improving game after game,, u ll be suprised how many mistakes normal challenger players are making,,, its like this - diamond = 30mistakes per game, Master - 20,,, GM 15,,, Challenger 10,,,, Top challenger 5,,, Pro 3 mistakes per game,,, and dont forget that higher elo u play more punishable your mistakes are,,, normal challenger players are making still many bad mistakes,, they are good at game for sure but even if u just reached challenger u still can be 2x better player than u are now,, just like he said he could be top 10 league player,,, its not hard if u understand league to be on top of league,,, but ofc being smart helps a lot to grasp all u need to know but even normal average person can reach challenger easy,,, after LOT of time but EASY,,, its easy just takes a LOT of time thats all,,, coach can help u reach that goal way faster,, 1 year from begginer to challenger,, with coach even faster ofc

    This is cool except for the fact that people in low elo think you're trolling for picking sera in adc spot and troll your games because of it so that winrate only counts when you're paired with teammates that don't have their head in their ass and know a thing or two about the game (which is a lot to ask in low elo)
