Something that hit me at 11:33 was that the instinctive decision should be to just ult out immediately upon seeing Sett exit the bush here. When I realized that staying alive is so much better than trying to get kills all the time my game quality increased a lot. It lets you play the game more because you're spending less time in base and staring at a gray screen, so you get more time to learn how to lane against your opponent. Of course limit testing is good but only to a certain degree.
Going from 4-6 cs/min to aiming for 7-10 cs/min (illaoi) got me from silver to plat. I was so much stronger than everyone with ~130 cs at 15 mins being 0/0 it was crazy.
yeah i feel like low elo players (including me for a long time) underestimate how strong csing is, the amount of gold and xp it gives is on average just more valuable than going for kills all the time. its more a question of patience to actually stay in lane and farm and scale instead of constantly looking for plays.

Most people in silver and gold take roams where the enemy gets 2x waves (2x 160gold + lots of xp) and 2 plates (2x 160 gold) which amounts to more than just a kill. Then they have a level lead, a tempo lead, time to setup vision and to destroy your pink wards, an item lead and then most people wonder why they lost so hard. I totally agree with you, it's not just "cs better" its more like "value your cs more than chasing kills and taking bad roams". I swear if people in low elo would just stop feeling forced to take roams instead of evaluating if the roam is actually beneficial they would climb a lot faster. For people who are interested, a good roam in mid could mean: - you shoved the wave instantly before it even arrived (gives you a longer roaming timer and denies your enemy a turret plates bc there is no wave) - next wave is cannonwave (cannon dies slower under turret, saving you cs) - you slowpushed a fat wave under their turret (gives you a longer roaming timer) - enemy botlane is overextended - your jungler is also there with you to setup a dive - you have red trinket

I still remember the first Neace video I watched years ago. It was some review and he compared the fiddle on the enemy team to some yeti and it was hilarious. Crazy to see how far the channel has come since then.
13:18 she did a ping of "on my way" instead of "enemy missing". Since 12.8 I get wrong pings all the time on my mouse for some reason. It's like it bugs and mouse goes to different direction but only when I press alt for pings. Did that happen here? Does it happen to others too?
This is an awesome video. As a midlane mage player, the fizz matchup is horrendous. Unfortunately neither Syndra or Vel'Koz have an Ahri R or move speed buff 😂😂😂 But it's very good to see what you have to do pre 6 with the slow push and warding him off
Fizz will always be a horrendous matchup for squishy mages, so you just have to bully him pre-6 so he doesn't farm and later play side lanes and with your jungler to try and further develop the tiny gold lead you have. It's a disgusting champion but that's usually how mages into assassin matchups go.

I also want to hit plat one day. I'm silver 3. I watched a couple of NEACE games and my laning improved so much. I had 16+ kills and more cs than ever before. The only sad thing is that I lost both games XD. I'm improving though.

I only started playing League back in February, but I watched Neace essentially every day for two months prior to starting to play. I then played a game with a friend who said he used to play the game a lot back when it first released and said he had a ton of fun with it. I assumed that meant he knew more than I did, but it turns out the reverse was true. He didn't realize that you needed to get the last hit on minions to get gold, and thought that he was "protecting our minions" by attacking whichever minion happened to be attacking our lowest health minion at the time. This essentially ended up on him autoing every full health minion once and missing every single CS. He exclusively plays Ashe in bot. I recently started teaching the game to another friend, who hasn't watched really any League videos, and it's really hitting me just how much of a knowledge gap you have when you just play the game every now and then without watching these vids. I was at least familiar with a good number of champions in terms of their names, what they look like, and what their ability animations look like before I encountered them. With him, we'll be playing and he'll ask me "hey what is this frog looking thing that keeps shooting me for huge damage?" And then I have to rack my brain, "there's no frog looking champion on their team, and certainly not one that's ranged with huge damage. I'm not sure what you mean." Turns out he was talking about Teemo, and he was stepping on Mushrooms, mistaking the damage from those for the damage from Teemo's auto attacks. Since he doesn't watch the videos, the only way for him to learn about the champions is to run into them in game and then we have a conversation about them afterwards.

25:00 she lives here if she doesnt keep autoing like her auto doesnt do any dmg at all so its just better to run and wait for cooldowns and yes never throw ur charm blindly like that since theres literally no way u can kill anyone even if u hit that charm mostly sett since her teamates r like so far away and no one can rly follow up in that position she also needs to fix the way she moves she needs to stop turning around and just keep running away
I recently started playing yasuo a lot because I find him really fun, amd because I refuse to play him top anymore I now play mid. This really helped me realize what I should improve on
i mean if you have atleast 51% or above winrate on ahri, youre guranteed a smooth climb to atleast plat. Did this on my 'for fun acc" and tried the rework and ahri and now my 2nd acc has a higher rank than my main.
Just everfrost before charm, and she will land a lot more charms. Maybe it was because she was panicking but I didn't notice any consistency in her combos. IMO ahri kit is one of the most op, is so nimble that she should always gain the upper hand in most situations. Q for clearing waves and poking, W for spacing and kitting, Everfrost +E to enemies chasing and R to either kite them out or chase them. Most important aspect I would work mechanically would be spacing with W while throwing autos and holding E for much longer. It seemed to this player that E button was literally burning and she had to press it to cool it off. Like always, very good coach teacher!
She definetely seems anxious/stressed in certain fights which ends up making her panic and mess up her combos. She also depends on a charm a little too much. Eventually with practice she will abuse the ult in-everfrost-charm it's much more useful than charm first. With the current ahri rework on her dashes coming back after each takedown its more beneficial to dash around, be slippery, zone or do picks in teamfights than all in and depend on your charm+combo dmg. She has places to improve sure but she will definetely fix those issues with practice and the more practice she gets into certain matchups, I'm sure not only she will understand her strengths but also stop panicking as much ^^
FYI, shes missing charms because shes not aiming for their feat. Every charm she missed was high. People forget the 'hitbox' is actually the feet of the characters not their body.

the base at 11:40 is a mistake tbh. One thing ive learned from Faker & Chovy vods is they never take bad bases. She has 2 pots & Ahri heal passive. W movespeed should give some outplay potential. Force the Fizz to skillcheck a dive or see if he can zone her to T2(which gives your jg/sup gank potential) rather than just recalling on a 2-3 wave crash with cannon. Lastly if the Fizz was better, he would have also gotten 1 plate before reseting.
You literally watched her whiff a point blank charm, even if fizz was bad worst case scenario he trades 1 for 1 and then you lose even more xp. W movespeed doesn't matter when he has 3 dashes and maybe ult, also, if you look at her passive stacks she's at 2, there's no way that's going to work in her favor even a fizz like that would try to all in not to mention what if sett was waiting to dive with the fizz. The one thing you've learned from Faker and Chovy vods is they never take bad bases. Yeah, I've seen them take maybe like 1 or 2 bad bases in like their entire career. The problem with you saying this is that's because they're way better players and aren't as monumentally garbage as this player is. They don't miss the charms, they pay attention to the map, they know how to trade correctly, they know when to back off, this player knows literally 0 of those skills.
I really don’t think the dragon team fight at 22 mins was on her completely really.. yeah she could’ve maybe ulted into pit? Or if she would’ve gotten the plant without you saying so she would’ve had time to get INTO the pit but since you told her there’s no way she should be that low and to take the plant she mispositioned herself because of your instruction. Then in the post game analysis you made it seem like it was all on her. Idk, feels kinda weird but it is what it is. Rest of the video was awesome though!
i think in the moment fizz was not on screen and he was calling the plant as a "u should've taken plant there b4 drag" rather than "go to plant now". It is always the issue that sometimes verbal callouts will be a bit slow, the sentence has to complete and the person needs to register and act on it. At the time he began the sentence it was the right play to make, by the time ahri started moving fizz showed up and it became too late for the plant. For the replay analysis remember that although we see the play and the vod review right after a key play, they do that at the end of the game so it is very likely that he didn't remember what he had said during that fight and just went off of what he was seeing in the replay.

I watched 10 mins of this and dominated a game as ahri. He's right the laning is super smooth safe and consistent and pick potential is high. I never solo lane I hate it it's jungle/supp for me with the occasional fill adc
Great advice and format between pointing out a fight and actually going over the VOD - HORRENDOUS dubstep music my attention was split between listening to Neace and the high pitched wubbly dubs going on.
At 6:27 Ahri could have killed the Fizz after the Fizz used E. Charm + Q + W + Electrocute + Ignite and as many AA's as possible + that huge wave, while Fizz had no E (so no chance to literally dodge DMG). Especially against Fizz, recognize these mistakes. A lot of Fizz players make mistakes like this all the time and don't get punished for it. The game would be over for the Fizz right there and then.
lol no. Ahri never kills Fizz here. She doesn't have enough damage and it's more likely that you die to Fizz's Q + Ignite after taking turret shots if you try to follow him with autos in this spot.
@@yGKeKe If she hits that charm she instantly hits all her W and Q DMG + Electrocute and ignite whilst if quick, also getting atleast 2 autos in too before she's even under threat of being hit by that tower. Fizz had 628hp after that E in the wave. Even is he doesn't kill Fizz there, she's ending Fizz's laningphase right there, atleast in higher elo's.

Nothing wrong with that imo, you can't choke much on those champs, like Annie, if a situation requires a stun to clutch, she wont miss if she just Q's, or even ults for the range- the circle can be missed or outplayed but generally wont be missed.
He’s literally a wimp. Assert your dominance early and he doesn’t become a problem. He’s super squishy beat him up don’t let him CS. Just farm and harass zone him off from getting XP and don’t allow him to farm. Go play fizz and you’ll realize he sucks. The problem is people show him the same respect as other laners early in the game and he becomes useful when he’s a useless champ.
Wouldn’t Aery with scorch make more sense in this matchup? Your auto W does a lot of poke with that. I’ve seen LegitKorea do that a lot in this matchup
It could work, although it sacrifices quite a bit of midgame and lategame burst. Post-6 your rune page basically becomes worthless if you run Aery as you'll have absolutely no way to apply it to the enemy without putting yourself in immediate risk of just pure death. Of course LegitKorea is a very good Ahri player, and he's very good mechanically too. In lower elos it's riskier to go for builds that play off of aggression as players usually aren't super skilled and getting hit by a skillshot like Fizz R will just immediately kill you, whilst in higher elos Fizz R is a rather weak skillshot as players are usually ready to dodge it and have good enough mechanics to actually do that.
I wish I could afford this. The lane phase fundamentals were helpful. "Keeping busy" was a big helpful comment as well. If I could get a session using my Xerath mid maybe I can climb out of Bronze?

ok, in 4 minutes this man just explained to me why I lost my last game. I stood on my junglers blue buff without a reliable eascape path so I died. I'ts solo q so amumu goes full ape lvl 1 bc I don't want to go to a blue with the entire enemy team there. He deems bot lane a lost cause bc he's dumb. We lose bc I was pushed under tower all lane phase bc I couldnt kill the vayne that got ahead lvl 1 but I never died to her. In amumu eyes it's bot dif, but enemy jg has everything so we all know the real dif.
It might just be me, but this new thumbnail style where we see Neace in a plain white shirt feels like a downgrade. For me, it ruins the God Coach vibes that I’m used to getting from the actual videos. Still love the videos but I figure I leave the feedback in case I’m not the only one. Keep on slaying it, Neace!
As an Ahri main, this was painful to watch. I could write an entire essay on this game. She could've solo carried this 100% if she played it better. Its gonna take her another 250-500 games to become competent enough to carry a game like this. Good luck grasshopper.

You get more xp the longer you stay in lane. Also, your lane opponent will be more manageable for your team if you don't die to them.

the base at 11:40 is a mistake tbh. One thing ive learned from Faker & Chovy vods is they never take bad bases. She has 2 pots & Ahri heal passive. W movespeed should give some outplay potential. Force the Fizz to skillcheck a dive or see if he can zone her to T2(which gives your jg/sup gank potential) rather than just recalling on a 2-3 wave crash with cannon. Lastly if the Fizz was better, he would have also gotten 1 plate before reseting.
You literally watched her whiff a point blank charm, even if fizz was bad worst case scenario he trades 1 for 1 and then you lose even more xp. W movespeed doesn't matter when he has 3 dashes and maybe ult, also, if you look at her passive stacks she's at 2, there's no way that's going to work in her favor even a fizz like that would try to all in not to mention what if sett was waiting to dive with the fizz. The one thing you've learned from Faker and Chovy vods is they never take bad bases. Yeah, I've seen them take maybe like 1 or 2 bad bases in like their entire career. The problem with you saying this is that's because they're way better players and aren't as monumentally garbage as this player is. They don't miss the charms, they pay attention to the map, they know how to trade correctly, they know when to back off, this player knows literally 0 of those skills.

i think in the moment fizz was not on screen and he was calling the plant as a "u should've taken plant there b4 drag" rather than "go to plant now". It is always the issue that sometimes verbal callouts will be a bit slow, the sentence has to complete and the person needs to register and act on it. At the time he began the sentence it was the right play to make, by the time ahri started moving fizz showed up and it became too late for the plant. For the replay analysis remember that although we see the play and the vod review right after a key play, they do that at the end of the game so it is very likely that he didn't remember what he had said during that fight and just went off of what he was seeing in the replay.

I watched 10 mins of this and dominated a game as ahri. He's right the laning is super smooth safe and consistent and pick potential is high. I never solo lane I hate it it's jungle/supp for me with the occasional fill adc

At 6:27 Ahri could have killed the Fizz after the Fizz used E.
Charm + Q + W + Electrocute + Ignite and as many AA's as possible + that huge wave, while Fizz had no E (so no chance to literally dodge DMG).
Especially against Fizz, recognize these mistakes. A lot of Fizz players make mistakes like this all the time and don't get punished for it. The game would be over for the Fizz right there and then.
lol no. Ahri never kills Fizz here. She doesn't have enough damage and it's more likely that you die to Fizz's Q + Ignite after taking turret shots if you try to follow him with autos in this spot.
@@yGKeKe If she hits that charm she instantly hits all her W and Q DMG + Electrocute and ignite whilst if quick, also getting atleast 2 autos in too before she's even under threat of being hit by that tower. Fizz had 628hp after that E in the wave. Even is he doesn't kill Fizz there, she's ending Fizz's laningphase right there, atleast in higher elo's.
You also have to hit charm before q because it buffs the damage from q and w. Would've won the fight too

Nothing wrong with that imo, you can't choke much on those champs, like Annie, if a situation requires a stun to clutch, she wont miss if she just Q's, or even ults for the range- the circle can be missed or outplayed but generally wont be missed.
This first game is literally the reason why Fizz is the only champ I perma ban mid when playing a mage mid.
He’s literally a wimp. Assert your dominance early and he doesn’t become a problem. He’s super squishy beat him up don’t let him CS. Just farm and harass zone him off from getting XP and don’t allow him to farm. Go play fizz and you’ll realize he sucks. The problem is people show him the same respect as other laners early in the game and he becomes useful when he’s a useless champ.

Wouldn’t Aery with scorch make more sense in this matchup? Your auto W does a lot of poke with that. I’ve seen LegitKorea do that a lot in this matchup
It could work, although it sacrifices quite a bit of midgame and lategame burst. Post-6 your rune page basically becomes worthless if you run Aery as you'll have absolutely no way to apply it to the enemy without putting yourself in immediate risk of just pure death. Of course LegitKorea is a very good Ahri player, and he's very good mechanically too. In lower elos it's riskier to go for builds that play off of aggression as players usually aren't super skilled and getting hit by a skillshot like Fizz R will just immediately kill you, whilst in higher elos Fizz R is a rather weak skillshot as players are usually ready to dodge it and have good enough mechanics to actually do that.

ok, in 4 minutes this man just explained to me why I lost my last game. I stood on my junglers blue buff without a reliable eascape path so I died. I'ts solo q so amumu goes full ape lvl 1 bc I don't want to go to a blue with the entire enemy team there. He deems bot lane a lost cause bc he's dumb. We lose bc I was pushed under tower all lane phase bc I couldnt kill the vayne that got ahead lvl 1 but I never died to her. In amumu eyes it's bot dif, but enemy jg has everything so we all know the real dif.
