Harriet Walker (violoncello)
Ben Maloney (harpsichord & positive organ)
Keyboards tuning: Valotti temperament, solo double bass with gut strings.
Recorded 95% with a single pair of Schoeps BLM3 microphones, with 5% of spot microphones in the mix (for harpsichord and positive organ).

I adore Baroque music! No other kind of music makes me as happy as baroque does. My all-time favourite is Albinoni's Concerti a cinque Op.5. I can listen to it on loop for hours and still crave more! Concerto No. 12 from this opus is also wonderful for a Viennese waltz. 😊

Cuando estaba en el colegio era parte de la sección de flautas en la orquesta de cámara del colegio, y años más tarde entré a pedagogía en música con flauta traversa como instrumento principal aunque estuve solo dos semestres y me cambié a pedagogía en biología y ciencias naturales (estoy en tercer año de carrera) jajaja.
El contrabajo suena como una viola de gamba .

Is this concerto original for the double bass or an adaptation?
Thanks 🤗 no, it is originally for cello and obligate bassoon in b.c. (I wrote it in the caption, added today). First double bass concerto was composed about 100 years later by Joseph Haydn (and lost)
@Ruben Marrero 🤗 thanks, yes, you were right, RV409 is for cello & basson in b.c. and this is exactly that, but with solo double bass & cello in b.c.
