It's an astonishing work in ANY form but this arrangement makes some of it so clear and easy to take in. Maximillian Hornung must have LOVED this work so much.

I have played the cello. I even attempted parts of the solo. I have listened to the traditional version many times. This performance with 4 cellos supporting the soloist is heavenly !!!
By the time the ‘soloist’ starts, when the camera spans out showing the chicken-wired windows, it looks like they’re playing in a prison chapel 😂😂. This needs to be put in an epic TV series 😂. This is fabulous!! The arrangement and each player is amazing! ❤❤❤❤❤
