I was so excited when I saw the big red blob at the base of the skull in the thumbnail. I’ve been trying various trapezius and occipital moves to alleviate the pain for ages and these exercises are exactly what I needed. The first one in particular I haven’t seen before. I admit it: I am weak but you bet I will be lifting and shrugging if it can reduce the tightness. Thanks.
An additional challenge that I have is bulging discs C1 - C6. I've been performing these (or similar) stretching exercises that seem to intensify the pain instead of relieving it. Could you do a video addressing this type of situation, or should these exercises help with this, too? Thank you.
This same problem was with me today just after woke up. Had some exercises but still feel lill bit pinched or locked. Will try your prescribed tips tomorrow morning. Good night 😴 and thank you for bringing healthy impacts in our healths.
I get the most horrendous burning pain halfway along my right upper trap every time I do shrugs. I'll be sure to try some of these exercises in between sets.
I frequently have severe pain under my left shoulder blade that literally takes my breath. This happens so often & I require immediate "cracking" even if I have to ask a stranger! It's crippling. I am trying ur methods now & hope I can find sum relief. Ty
I'm having the worst migraines because of those muscles. It feels like someone is hitting my brain with a hammer in the back of my head. My face goes pale and dark circles appear around my eyes and I walk like a zombie. Lying down is the worst. For me the first exercise works the best. I got myself a back support for when I watch a movie to make sure I sit up straight and got a new drafting tabe I can elevate and tilt when I work so I don't have to bend my neck down. You are tips are great 😊 Do you have any for getting better at sitting cross-legged? I am working on it and doing some modification with sitting with my knees open and feet bottoms together. I understand that all the sitting in chairs like we normally do can cut off blood circulation to the lower body, so now I try to sit with my knees open when in a chair or on a couch. I feel this and the cross legged posture are very helpful, but it's taking me a while to get to cross legged easily.

Curious… can the pain be felt predominantly on one side only? Occasionally causing tingling in the arm?
With age I started having aches just below my scapulae carrying my backpack while hiking. Is there any exercise to strenghthen those muscles?
