Thanks Peter, you succeeded in successfully showing me how to balance the WeeBill S when every video I watched before this failed. You went through all the steps unlike others that skip assuming we know stuff we don’t. Being able to relate to absolute beginners is not easy but your teaching model broke the steps down sequentially simply and intuitively ,all attributes of a great teacher, thank you very much!
I've watched every video on TH-cam to try to figure this thing out. You are the ONLY TH-camr that has helped me figure this out. IDK if that's speaks to how good you are or how bad I am, but either way I'm subbing. Thanks bro.
I just watched video and you learned me how to balans my Ronin SC! I was using gimbal few months and fist time I got 3 times “excellent” balans results! Thanks and Like the video.
Watched 3 videos and with yours being the 3rd and it truly helped. I could not figure out how to slide it up on i believe the tilt axis, but your Video zoomed in and showed the exact camera angel that we needed. Thank you so much brother! God bless you
Thanks for the video. Just bought the weebil s and follow all the steps to balance, after i turn it on and do the auto tuning i get a terrible vibration.
Very nice video! Love it! So clear! I'll try to balance my webill s with this video, i was doing it wrong! Thank you so much. Sorry about my bad English i speak Spanish. Waiting for the new firmware update :)
Loved the video really caught me up. I do still have an issue. Even though I think I have balanced all 3 axis when I power on it vibrates. If I pick it up and lean it in different ways the vibration stops and starts again when the gimbal is upright. Any idea what I could be doing wrong?
Hi Peter, Thanks for your explanations, I just got the weevil s yesterday, and my first attempt to balance it failed miserably. Got the Axis locked message as I didn't balance it well. I'm following all the steps yet I m unable to do it right. I guess it will come with practice. Love your videos, maybe it's just me who s too slow, hopefully I ll get it
thank you.I do find with my fx3 and sigma 24-70 i cant stop it from swinging backwards even with all settings moved to every point. Possibly it is at the limit of the weight of the gimabl?
@@PeterMakholm yes it does but I’m guessing the heavier the lens it needs to be right to the bottom so I can’t adjust it further? I don’t want to waste on a new gimbal either
I have an issue with the single bolt not keeping my A7III from loosening and moving. i need a cage like yours so I can use 2 bolts. Can you tell me what cage that is? Thanks. Good video
If you had a choice and you already have a crane M2 gimbal....Would you purchase the Zv1 or would you purchase a larger gimbal Weebill S or Ronin SC to use with Canon and Nikon mirrorless cameras?
It depends on what your needs are. Anwser these questions for your self. what is the purpose of the gimbal? What are you using it for? Personal or professional use? Find out what camera you want to use first and then find a suitable gimbal for it afterward.
Thank you very much for this. The camera I plan to use on my Weebel S has a Manfrotto baseplate. I'd prefer to not have to remove it every time I want to put it on the Weebel S. Is there a way to do this? Thanks.
@@AlfaMedtech AHH YES..... I have only ordered the RS2, but i will see if i can get my hands on the RSC2 as well. This might be the biggest competetor to the weebill s.
Great review! Have a question about the risk of not getting perfect balance and still use the gimbal. Is it okay to use the setup even being a bit 'top heavy' ? The problem being using my a7s3 (with no accessories on it ) Using a quick release system underneath the camera and on the gimbal plate (to quickly add or remove the camera from the gimbal, it causes it the setup to become top-heavy.. The tilt-axis part that you can either lower or shift upwards can't be lowered far enough.. (Unlike the Zhiyun 3s where the tilt-axis arm has more than enough room to spare to lower it..) The motors seem to compensate for it, especially after tweaking their settings it doesn't vibrate any more. Does that mean They can handle it? (Don't want to damage them)
Hi, It is not a problem that your setup is a bit top heavy. the motors has plenty of tourque to compensate for that. I would upgrade to the newest firmware 1.99. it works very well with heavier setup without the motors vibrating.
For some reason, even after the tilt axis lock screw is tight, the camera still slides around. How do I fix this? Thanks for the helpful tutorial by the way
@@PeterMakholm sorry, maybe I explained not properly. Lock mode (stands for L on the LCD screen) locks both pan and tilt. Is there any way to lock only pan and leave only the tilt on?
I need to hook up with you sometime. We live so close to eachother (Koege). I am planning on byuing the Weebill S from Kamerahuset soon, and would love some insights into how to utilize it.
Hey Peter, I read in the comments about your 1.99 video coming up. By any chance, mind telling me if you've experienced increased vibrations in the motors? My perfectly balanced setup makes my Weebill s vibrate a lot with the v1.99 in certain moves. Thanks at least for all your helpful videos man
I've been wanting a gimbal for a few years but it's so much of a hassle balancing it especially when you have to re-balance it all over again and again everytime You change the lens. It's the hassle that's stopped me from getting a gimbal.

THANK YOU! Ive watched over 6 tutorials yet and this one is the only one who really explained it well for someone with zero experience with gimbal🙌
That was way better video than the one Zhiyun made for the Weebill-s 👍
Thanks, just trying to pass on my knowledge as good as i can.

best explaination on youtube..thanks
Your channel is awesome!!! Any reason why on the Weebill S; it will go into a LOCK mode and give off a sound?? what have I done wrong ?? Thank you...
It is probably because one of your axis are locked. the pan lock easily slides and locks the axis.
Looking for the video on how to balance a Zhiyun Crane 3S, as mentioned in this video.

The manfroto baseplate is similar to the one on the weebill S so you should be able to use the on on your camera.
@@PeterMakholm Thanks! I will give it a shot and see how it works.

I will compare the two. But the DJI RS2 is a closer match to the Crane 2s.

Is there tilt only mode (pan lock)? How to set gimbal Weebill-s not to pan?
You can only lock pan in Lock mode. Slide the button on the side down to enter lock mode.
@@PeterMakholm if you mean locking the red slider of the bottom axis - then in couple of seconds gimbal enters in axis lock mode and it stops working
@@dmixar4813 no on the side just over the power on button. PF/L
