    This is the perfect type of place for a survival character. You have all the necessities for a little outpost. Love the walls up around the turrets, they look like she just put whatever she could around them to protect them while adding layers of defenses. Good stuff as always.

      Thanks. Trying to keep them "authentic," at least as much as I can. JP's a little more complicated. ;)

    This is honestly one of the best Croup Manor builds I have seen! All the others are extravagant, cluttered with mods, living trees and et cetera, however the simplicity and the scrappy feel of this build is really inspiring, you should be very proud of this build. I'd love to see an updated one with more junk and scrap filling some of the bottom rooms, they just look a bit too empty. But other than that, one of the best settlements I have ever seen. Good job!

    Since I have a starting Charisma of 1, every one of my settlements is gonna be built with whatever materials i can locust from nearby locations. It's great to see I'll be able to make it look nice in places like Croup!

    Not to say that your settlements don't look great, because they do, but I like how simple they look. You can tell there was some thinking behind each of them. I really dig settlements (and mods) that keep the lore of the game intact and not go overboard. I think in a survival situation, you wouldn't necessarily worry about making everything perfect as far as looks go. If you had security, warmth, food, and a place to improve your settlement you'd be solid. Maybe as you go add in a couple "leisure items" for QOL purposes, but it's the essentials first. Also, when playing survival mode in Fallout 4, it's nice to have a bunch of little spots set up across the map to get that save in and fiddle around. Nice video--definitely subscribing.

    3:02 Wow !! What a deadly corner you have made here. I like how the chair becomes a little wall for the turret. 5:57 Boy you will definitely now when your being attacked when all those Missiles launcher turrets start firing . Good Luck for them to even get a shot at you before they take the dirt nap. 7:51 It kinda looks like a Haunted house you would tell someone while your sitting around a campfire telling ghost stories. 10:47 I really like how you built it like this. It looks creepy at night but I like that. It keeps the neighbor at bay. Great job. Can't wait to see what comes next. Take care The Great SarDeliac.

    I laughed at the irony when you said you didn't know if the enemies would melee the turrets. I just had that happen in Sommerville earlier today. The raiders just ran right up to them and hit them with some pipe wrenches and baseball bats. I killed them before they could do any damage. They were low level guys though. Love this place, it sure is a cutie :)

      haha So they do melee turrets... good thing those walls are up then. And thanks! :)

    Brilliant ideas. By far my favorite settlement build of yours. Atmospheric yet simple, gonna borrow some ideas if I may. 👍💯

      Thanks, and grab whatcha like. Hoping people will take some of this stuff and use it themselves is a large part of the reason I do this. ;)

    Great build that does indeed inspire me to have another crack at this location as a build site.

    You're right it's more like one story on a tall foundation than it is 4 stories.
    I recently watched a vid by Manny Faces where he discussed the workbench and the concept of "lore friendly" builds. He kinda reminded me of some of your thoughts on things in the game. His basic argument is only people with a pipboy can operate a workbench. This means that most likely none of the current buildings in the commonwealth were built with workbench technology. Because of that we really have no reference of what workbench buildings can or should look like. Therefore anything we build is in actuality "lore friendly".

      Dammit I was hopin you'd let me slide. ;) I guess at some point I'm gonna have to buckle down and try and make one.
      I'm gonna have to disagree with that theory, though. Every time you help a settler they tell you, "Feel free to use our workbench," and they make no mention of Pip-Boys, which means they know what it's for and how to use it. They're not good at it, obviously, and they don't spend a lot of time on it, but they do know what it's for and how it works--hell, witness the outbuilding sidecar at Greentop for proof of that. Or the Finch house. Or the shack at County Crossing. (The Abernathy house is a definite exception; I'm still not convinced that Blake and his offspring built that by themselves.)
      This is definitely something I'll be thinking about in future, though.

      @Slentra 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      My Smi I've thought about it. I'm on xbox so I can't really record videos. Maybe in the future. 😘

    • @Mysmi
      @Mysmi 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well Sardeliac is on Xbox.. I'm on PS4 so it's pretty easy to share the walkthroughs but I'm sure it's pretty easy on Xbox. I see people post content from that platform all the time.
      Anyway, hope to see your favourite settlement with all of Sardeliac inspiration some time ;)

      My Smi Maybe it's just here that capture cards are expensive? :P The first video would be my SarDeliac inspired Red Rocket for sure! :)

      Fair enough ;) fallout 4 guy on TH-cam has a pretty amazing red rocket build that I am constantly blown away by. Not to blow up another channel on Sardeliacs but yeah, it's pretty sweet

    I was wondering if you ever made a video on a starting bunker for sanctuary hills because you skipped over the building process in episode 1

    • @SarDeliac
      @SarDeliac  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope, never did, and the original recording is gone; I can usually only keep 'em for a month or so because my hard drive fills up too fast. Sorry. :(

      Didn't really think about it, tbh; I post these things to share stuff with people and maybe give 'em ideas, not to, like, "be a youtuber," y'know?

    Is the abraxo power armor a mod or a paint scheme in the game somewhere that I don't know abt?

    • @SarDeliac
      @SarDeliac  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a paint scheme, and it came with one of the DLCs (not sure which). It can only be applied to T-51, though, at least without mods.
