I think a particularly helpful detail in the settings for non-islanders is that if you switch the subtitles from UK English to default English, it automatically translates the spoken slang 😂

The voice acting is top tier! I was hoping there would be an Irish character with a traditional name, like Michael Finn Seamus McDonnell O'Flahahaherty. 👀

@@anerdscorner what I particularly enjoyed about this game is the fact that the conversations feel very natural. Characters actually say things you'd expect regular people to say. They don't sound scripted, they sound like real people.
@@MrSporkster oh yeah without a doubt. They defo have Scottish people on the writing staff or the voice actors were actually Scottish themselves. There was slang and stuff we would use over here that was so nice to hear and drew me in more unlike any other game I have played! 🩷
@@anerdscorner there is an option that allows you to play the game in full Gaelic, but I haven't seen anyone try it yet.
@@MrSporkster ohhhh now that is interest! Irish and Scottish Gaelic would be two different language (but I would imagine there would be alot of similarities though between them 🤔) then again I barely understand Irish Gaelige as it is 🤣
