He's recovered and should help pay the bills by idk.. joining the tournament or some other way. Or just like you said ,have Law win the tournament. In Dead or Alive games, the winners of the tournament can be the minor characters. I think Jann Lee won DOA 5 but then again like Tekken the actual tournament is not that important in the story. It's always the beef of the main characters outside the tourney that gets settled in the end.

I love that people's first impressions just at a glance of King and Yoshimitsu are "whoa, they look fuckin scary as hell", and then they end up being two of the most genuinely kind people in the entire franchise.

In TK1, he was basically broke while working in some random Chinatown restaurant, dreaming of opening his own dojo. In TK4, his restaurant went out of business and his son caused a huge traffic accident that put Law deep in debt. After T4, he was so broke he had to stay in Japan to work as a dishwasher until being deported. So of course he's obsessed with money.

Jack and Jack-2 are two different characters. Also, the SYSTEM 11 you can read refers to Namco's arcade model which games like Soul Edge, Tekken 1 and 2 ran.

(Take kazuya for example; he has no fingerless gloves in the majority of his artworks and the console opening, he has fingerless gloves but is missing the yellow trim on his belt in the arcade opening, and he has BOTH fingerless gloves and the yellow trim on his belt in his own ending.)

Me and my friend appreciated these every time either of us would complete the arcade mode with a character. Any little thing that we'd learn about the characters through the ending also really added something to them. Imagination filled in the details - we didn't need a minute long, dialogue-based cutscene of Paul and Kuma arguing about who's gonna beat whose ass. The same music playing in every one did get annoying, though.
The endings in Tekken were one of the main reasons I loved this franchise as a kid. I remember me and my brother staying up all night trying to beat the arcade mode so we could see the different endings. good times.
I loved watching these over and over again as a kid, although Michelle's legs bugged me. Paul's ending really epitomizes what the whole game was about. He just gets straight back into his training, nothing too special, it's all about the martial arts.
I remember as a kid after I wasn't able to play tekken 5 on my ps2, I would search for tekken gameplay and endings on youtube, I thought all of the endings were hype as shit even the silly and narmy ones

Paul was Hwoarang before being Hwoarang was cool, in fact, he really is just a 3 dimensional version of Hwoarang, because he could be cool and goofy at the same time, if T2, 3 and 4 taught us anything.
Heavily disagree. Hwoarang is an infinite times more 3 dimensional than Paul even the T1-4 version of Paul. I love both characters but I'm just being objective. Hwoarang's been serious at moments, goofy at moments, he's sometimes cocky but sometimes takes the threat seriously, he has an interesting relationship with both his master & his rival and his motivation for everything makes sense and he feels like a real human unlike Paul who's a bit cartoonish even in the earlier Tekken days. Again I love Paul but he's not even 10% as interesting as Hwoarang as a character.
