I got TTT on the PS2 release day and that's when Kazuya became my proper main. But that was TTT which isn't canon, so I assumed that he wouldn't return. I imagine that maybe Kazuya was meant to die, but because of how popular he was in TTT, they decided to bring him back. And to justify it, they decided to reinvent Jin's style, so that they wouldn't be too similar.
@@Shyuthrosnaevin Jin and Kazuya were very similar. Jin basically had Kazuya's moveset + some moves from Jun, and a few extra moves. I didn't say they were clones, or even that they were too similar. But the devs thought that they were too similar to justify bringing Kazuya back, so they redesigned Jin. That's what I think anyway. At the very least what probably happened is that after redesigning Jin, they figured that some would miss the old Jin, so they decided to bring back Kazuya to fill that spot. This would also make the Kazuya mains happy. Devil Jin was added in T5, for similar reasons. T4 had a tiny roster, so there weren't really any room for clones.

4:19 And this was the end of Kazuya... or so we thought until T4.
I started with T3, and I loved the game so much that I ended up getting T1 and T2 during that downtime before TTT, and since I had ended up settling as a Jin main, I tried Kazuya and I remember thinking that Kazuya was so much cooler than Jin, and what a shame it was that he died.
I mean not really... I don't think kazuya ever had a laser scraper or a d/f+1,2 etc. and that kit still exists today in the form of devil jin.
The only time Yoshi is right-handed it is in his T2 ending. And I'm sure there is another version of Angel ending where all that skeletons with the wings were a characters who flew after the Devil like his servants. I remember Nina with the wings in her green outfit among other characters but in everything else Angel's ending the same.
i think the photo in baek ending is him and his master/father. Thus him thinking of passing his skills. leading to hwoarang.
i never thought i would find someone that feels the same way I do with king and jack-2 endings
T2 was my first tekken ever, and I have to say King's ending and story left a big impression on me. A wrestler who helps orphans? He was some sort of hero to me in my younger days.
Surprised that this game came out along side games like
Super Mario 64
Resident Evil
Diablo
Tomb Raider
Elder Scrolls 2
It seems like games were starting to bring step up the quality around this time.
If only more games like this can be made instead of games like Anthem or Battlefront 2
Making me nostalgic and I'm only 24. Lol good times :)
Yoshimitsu looks somewhat still human here. From T3 onward, it's hard to tell if there is a human under the crazy costumes.
12:26, almost caught ya slipping huh? Love ya TMM
Beak was mourning for his pops tho
As a kid, Jack 2, King, and Armor King's endings really cut me up. Goddamn onions.
sad to know that armor king only dies to marduk because of the heart problem. F
Jun's was my favourite, it blew me away as a kid
What is the sound in the background ? kinda like PS1 intro sound ?
Sounds like a sci fi ship asmr background atmosphere on youtube
You're right mainman jack 2 ending is super depressing
whats that weird ambient sound behind video?
Might be wrong, but I think it's the background sound from the Geometric Plane stage from Tekken 7
After T2 Nina became like Uma Turman. In T3 Nina literally has her face and in T7 she has the dress of bride from "Kill Bill". I wonder who is Nina's prototype in T1/T2? I don't remember any whore-like fighting actress/character of that time. Cynthia Rothrock was a prototype of Sonya in MK1 and there must be someone for Nina.
jun is all like snow white in her ending
the tekken 2 ending implies that if kazuya could be dissociated from the devil heihachi would actually fight for him.
That girl on Jack 2's ending might be Jane, the creator of Jack 5 and 6 and prob 7
It *was* Jane who witnessed Jack-2's death.
How the hell did she get off the island w/o Jack
@@Shyuthrosnaevin They would get there without some vehicle. I guess she was drifted elsewhere and was adapted by someone. Otherwise, it can't be explained how did she end up as a scientist.
Can't wait to see him rewatching tekken 5 endings
Current video name: TMM Watches The T2 Endings, Good And Weird
Real video name: 12 endings \ T2 endings.
Even back in the day I thought some of these endings were really silly. Paul kind of looks like Van Damme when he makes that face 14:05.
The Roger ending looks like a scene from Fury Road.
I am lost on how Baek didn't receive any charges for multiple counts of aggravated assault? Irl he woulda been arrested mid-fighting in the tournament lol.
Jun her ending is like that Arnold schwarzenegger meme in the forest
Now that you started with this you have to watch all the game's endings
Cool video, but what's with the ominous sound in the background?
Hey main man, have you played Tekken2 in the first person view? I forgot how it's done but I remember it being possible in the console version of tekken 2
Most of these endings are just WTF? I like armor king's thou
Whats with the bckground static noise
What is this sound in the background during the video?
He skipped over some of the reactions like Kuma lol
Paul looks like a Chad in tekken 2
My personal favorite ending is Armor King purely because of it’s story implications.
Michelle Chang reclaiming some treasure I was stolen from her family home in avenging her family relative? Roger enss up becoming free among other kangaroos and Kunimitsu finally defeats yoshimitsu claiming his sword just to explain those three endings.
Michelle got rid of her pendant because of how much trouble it caused. In Tekken 2, Kazuya kidnapped Michelle's mother to lure her to him in order to get her pendant. In Tekken 3, Heihachi kidnapped Michelle for her pendant which was revealed to be the key to controlling Ogre.
E24K Lawson Ooohhh I see. ',:| I guess I was close? So if that pendant gets teased in a season 3 trailer then that'll confirm his return for those who know the lore.
Joyce Hayes Not likely. Jin vanquished Ogre for good at the end of Tekken 3, remember?
Lol, King looks like he actually has a jaguar head. KING IS AN ANIMORPH, LOL.
I don't even get P-Jack's ending. What's with the 3 bolts falling at the end?
P.Jack’s ending was literally him self destructing as he was about to take off because he’s, well, a prototype.
He literally had loose screws, causing him to be deconstructed.
The armor king ending is the best by far.
