Michelle's ending shows her throwing an important pendant into a river. The pendant was desired by Kazyua in T2 and then Heihachi in T3 as the pendant was able to control Ogre and his power. In T2's manual it's explained that Kazuya kidnapped Michelle's mother in order to lure Michelle and the pendant to him. In her ending she's throwing it away to keep people from using Ogre's power. :D
I think Kunimitsu stole that amulet and Michelle returned it after she defeated Kunimitsu

Yes, all those years of getting tortured with japanese at university paid off. It says 三島仁八(Mishima Jinpachi) on his grave. To think they planned so far ahead really warms my heart.
@@JoelDesuKa Back in 2017, The last interview Harada gave before T7 launched, He revealed that Jinpachi and Kazumi's story was already decided back when T1 was written.

I thought it was weird that Law’s ending was shown last besides Devil’s and Angel’s ending. My speculation for the reason is that Law’s ending is probably the most iconic ending in Tekken 2 or something.

@@dartheory4423 It was the ending my friends and I watched the most. We must've watched it 20 or more times still laughing at Paul Phoenix. Problem is, Konami are still trying to do comedy in their endings and they are failing miserably by over-egging the pudding.

That's Baek's father. I think he killed him in an accident during one of their training sessions.
In ttt2 his ending shows him mourning his father and getting his spirits lifted by hworang. I think thats why he is so severe with him, to kinda attone for his father passing.
Roger's and Alex's were supposed to show they managed to escape captivity and live free.
I like how Jinpachi and Kazumi always existed in Tekken lore since T1 & T2.

Kazumi's name is written on the floor in Heihachi's Dojo stage.
Jinpachi's name is written on the grave in Wang's ending.
@@Anomaly188 Not exactly retcons but "cover-ups". Like, We initially believed Hei throw Kaz off a cliff to toughen him up. When, in reality it turn out to be an attempt to remove the devil gene.
@@aligamerable that's not a retcon my guy, that's simply us the audience being given the sane knowledge that the characters have, that they were NEVER HIDING, just didn't tell us. That's a mystery being solved, not a retcon.

When, in Honmaru, Heihachi speaks with Devil and asks, "Who are you?" even though he has faced Devil Kazumi in the past. Does that make Heihachi's and Devil's battle in T2 non-canon? Did Heihachi just fight Kazuya? or his Devil form too?
Wang's ending: Japanese text on the gravestone reads "Mishima Jinpachi".
Jun's ending: the animals aren't just about her being good; she works as a Wildlife Protection Agent.
Kunimitsu's ending: having obtained Yoshimitsu's sword (also called Yoshimitsu), Kunimitsu uses it to cut a gravestone in the forest, as the sword is said to be "able to cleave a person's soul in two".
There still should've been more to kuni's ending, though... Like at the very least getting out of the form of the sword strike, putting the sword away and leaving.

I think Jun's ending sort of alludes to her pregnancy. The ending represents Jun's pureness but if you think in terms of the story, it could also represent new life (Jin).

He has more control of the ending if he watches it on TH-cam. There’s a few times where he rewinds to a certain part of a ending. I don’t think you have that same control in the gallery.

Well Nina's has always been a classic in my mind and imo is the best interaction between her and Anna throughout possibly the entire series.

That isn't hwoarang and Baek doesn't have a son. In the picture you can see Baek's father before he killed him accidentally while practicing and entering the tournament just wanting to eliminate everyone in his path. Eventually Baek finds himself being the father figure for another kid without a name that earns money fighting thugs in the street. That's Hwoarang.

King 1's ending hits much worse when we learn of his fate after T2. Imagine how hard that must've hurt the staff and kids at that orphanage when they got the news that their hero was killed? Those poor kids losing their big hero.
And one of those kids was possibly King II, who would've been around 9 years old during the events of Tekken 2.
I miss the overall darker tone of Tekken 2. Lee's ending is one of my favorites because of this reason. It's basically him saying to Kazuya and Heihachi, who he had locked up, "Who's the black sheep of the family now? I'm the king now, and I want you two bastards to be executed." and smiles evilly.
Don't get me wrong, I love the master of excellence version Lee, but part of me misses evil Lee. I definitely miss T2 Kazuya, and my (and also Kazuya's, technically) waifu Jun.
Lee is necessary evil back then before his “Ekuserento” era.
Kazuya ending is the best for me. The evil smirk in the end

Kazuya's T2 ending was one of the few things that showed Heihachi's true intentions way ahead of the time, which was to get rid of the Devil Gene.

Jun's ending is so different than the others in terms of quality. Her facial animation, her body, etc are great. Feels like her ending was made years after the others from a technical standpoint. Am I the only one who thinks this?

Kazuya's ending is his fantasy where he is in the T1/T2 arcade intro metal world where he beats Devil, then Heihachi saves him and Devil is defeated again. It's probably what's playing in his mind as Heihachi beats him to death and throws him down the volcano

kazujun gives us some much good impressions because of this two characters one bright and kind, other is dark and horseless

Tekken 2 was the one that introduced me to the series and to this day it still is my favorite. The roster, the music, the stages, the gameplay, the character unlocking system and the atmosphere were awesome. They don't even do games like this anymore. Not even Tekken 7 is like this. Tekken 7 has an extremely good gameplay but as of everything else is kind of lame.

I don’t know why but when Rogers ending came up it made me realise that we play as roger jr nowadays but really we’re playing as his mum. But I don’t think we’ve ever gotten a name for her.
Michelle threw the pendant so Heihachi wouldn’t get it to awaken Ogre. But since this was non canon it didn’t really happen.
After all these years and seeing these endings again with new lore the Tekken 2 endings were dark given the context of what's to come especially to anyone who dies/goes missing against Ogre

T2 was my first tekken ever, and I have to say King's ending and story left a big impression on me. A wrestler who helps orphans? He was some sort of hero to me in my younger days.

After T2 Nina became like Uma Turman. In T3 Nina literally has her face and in T7 she has the dress of bride from "Kill Bill". I wonder who is Nina's prototype in T1/T2? I don't remember any whore-like fighting actress/character of that time. Cynthia Rothrock was a prototype of Sonya in MK1 and there must be someone for Nina.

@@Shyuthrosnaevin They would get there without some vehicle. I guess she was drifted elsewhere and was adapted by someone. Otherwise, it can't be explained how did she end up as a scientist.
The only time Yoshi is right-handed it is in his T2 ending. And I'm sure there is another version of Angel ending where all that skeletons with the wings were a characters who flew after the Devil like his servants. I remember Nina with the wings in her green outfit among other characters but in everything else Angel's ending the same.

Yoshimitsu looks somewhat still human here. From T3 onward, it's hard to tell if there is a human under the crazy costumes.

I started with T3, and I loved the game so much that I ended up getting T1 and T2 during that downtime before TTT, and since I had ended up settling as a Jin main, I tried Kazuya and I remember thinking that Kazuya was so much cooler than Jin, and what a shame it was that he died. I got TTT on the PS2 release day and that's when Kazuya became my proper main. But that was TTT which isn't canon, so I assumed that he wouldn't return. I imagine that maybe Kazuya was meant to die, but because of how popular he was in TTT, they decided to bring him back. And to justify it, they decided to reinvent Jin's style, so that they wouldn't be too similar.
I mean not really... I don't think kazuya ever had a laser scraper or a d/f+1,2 etc. and that kit still exists today in the form of devil jin.
@@Shyuthrosnaevin Jin and Kazuya were very similar. Jin basically had Kazuya's moveset + some moves from Jun, and a few extra moves. I didn't say they were clones, or even that they were too similar. But the devs thought that they were too similar to justify bringing Kazuya back, so they redesigned Jin. That's what I think anyway. At the very least what probably happened is that after redesigning Jin, they figured that some would miss the old Jin, so they decided to bring back Kazuya to fill that spot. This would also make the Kazuya mains happy. Devil Jin was added in T5, for similar reasons. T4 had a tiny roster, so there weren't really any room for clones.

My personal favorite ending is Armor King purely because of it’s story implications.
King the First was far too pure for the impure thoughts he evoked in childhood me.
