I'm such a huge fan of this amazing flautist (Mathilde Calderini). the musicality of her interpretation makes each piece she plays seem like it's brand new, ...instead of some rehashed version. what a enormous talent!

I notice that this video is not on her own channel, and that well may be on purpose. She's a bit younger here, and it's possible that this portion is what was asked of her, likely due to time limitations. I get the impression from what little description there is that this is some sort of talent showcase, which would explain the abbreviated version for time's sake (notice the full orchestra seated but not playing). I chanced upon her for the very first time about an hour ago, while looking for the Faure Fantasy, so I'm speculating here.
No words but: she is perfect, I can't imagine a better performance.
