Love the snow (as long as it doesn't come to Florida) We ignored the warning signs of diabetes, as I'm sure a lot of people do. Fortunately we were pulled away from the edge of the cliff just in the nick of time thanks to this Beat Diabetes channel. If the sign says, NO SWIMMING IN LAKE, DANGEROUS AGGRESSIVE ALLIGATORS !!! What would you do? Of course, you'd find another place to swim. We were fortunate to find the diabetic signs, and we found a different way to eat with different (lowest possible carb) food choices. God bless you Ben and Den.
I'm in Florida, and it's in the 40s, but it's better than a hurricane. I went through too many of them, and the worst of them was no electricity. I had no AC, no water because I got a well, and no coffee because I have an electric stove.
Jan the 9th was my birthday Dennis! Tell me if you received in your notification my discovery about the PIRI PIRI sauce for chicken! God bless you and Benedicta!
Good tips. My only minor point of contention would be to prioritize the glucose meter over A1c. A1c is a great metric but can be misleading. Case in point, my A1c is 5.7% but my average blood glucose is
I am worried I cannot reverse my diabetes because I lost 3 stone and cannot gain weight. When they told me I had developed sudden onset diabetes, I strated the carnivore deit. My bloods went to normal. After three months I got bored of just meat, fish and eggs. Now I am back on it but not gained a pound back. My c-peptide test was normal, but I did eat before. 😢
Greetings Brother Dennis, Looks like you are really in TORONTO , Ontario Canada LOL 5 or 6 cm is a startr for TORONTO We get 45=50 at times LOLOL Oly 5 cm lol Good luck Brother Anthony from Toronto. This weeked we are getting thirty centimeters LOL
I changed my diet… I count carbs… I have two BC Meters and one is under 100 the other 104… I don’t know which one is right… I will go to the doctor and see what their meter says…
I have heard that they can be different. I think it's okay so long as each individual meter is consistently the same/similar. You would need to decide which meter to use and stick with only using the one. If you are measuring at different times using the different meter (so not checking the two at the same time) and they are different that is okay because the blood glucose is always changing. And 100 compared to 104 is not a big difference.
🪦 to all of them but I’m not sure about Ken Boyer. Especially the ‘67 World Series. And the blues enter the NHL that year when the cardinals won it all
What's your opinion of the "Mastering Diabetes" people? They advocate eating carbs and low fat to combat diabetes. It sounds like a bad idea, but they claim a lot of studies to support their protocol.
Oh come on. I enjoyed them showing the snow in Texas. I thought it was a fun idea to incorporate that unusual happening to how diabetic look for symptoms they have.

Good morning Dennis from beautiful Arizona 🇺🇸
Hello to you and your lovely wife from the Phoenix area. I'm done with snow after living in Colorado for 10 years.
I'm in Florida, and it's in the 40s, but it's better than a hurricane. I went through too many of them, and the worst of them was no electricity. I had no AC, no water because I got a well, and no coffee because I have an electric stove.
Love ❤️ your show.. thank you…
Thanks for watching!
Greetings from Amarillo, Tx. ( 6 inches of snow)
I think we are at about six inches now. But thank the Lord, we haven't lost electricity!

Great, informative vid! Thank you!
Ky here, 20F and 5 more inches snow coming today. Just had 8 inches with the top couple inches frozen rain. Almost a record snowfall here.
Love to you both!
God bless you!
Lucky you. It gets cold in Texas but we got rain all night but NO SNOW. I'm in Deep East Texas.
I live in Ohio, but this year it has snowing like crazy!! But praise be to God, still in charge and control!🙏🙏
Amen!
I just got a glucose meter. I named it Mike. No spikes but it's hovering just above and below a hundred.
it's not necessary to give it a name 🤣
Bless ya ❤❤✌️🫶🙏☃️❄️
most people think "if it's not sweet, there's no sugar" so they eat bread, pasta, rice and potatoes thinking it's fine
Thank you
Michigan here and 19 degrees F right now.
We are supposed to get that low tonight. But things warm up in the day.
We received 8 inches here in South Central Oklahoma! It’s been a long time since we’ve had such nice snow instead of a wintry mix.
Benedicta is ready to go back inside 😂
I think you're right. That was actually our second time to do that. The first time I forgot to turn on our audio recorder.
Jan the 9th was my birthday Dennis! Tell me if you received in your notification my discovery about the PIRI PIRI sauce for chicken! God bless you and Benedicta!

Good point, I'm like you. What about you fasting glucose. Mine average 107. But my postpandrial are almost never close to 135.
@ my fasting glucose level is generally between 80 and 90 mg/dL.
Wa wa
Looks like Chicago today.

Wow! You are the pros at dealing with snow. We Texans are kinda wimpy in that area - but pretty good at horse riding!

Kids are outside❤
I see my post has been removed. Censorship of people who think.
yeah Go Cardinals!!!!
Yep! I was a huge Cardinal fan back in the sixties. Bob Gibson, Ken Boyer, Orlando Cepada. Those were the days!
🪦 to all of them but I’m not sure about Ken Boyer. Especially the ‘67 World Series. And the blues enter the NHL that year when the cardinals won it all
You been in Texas this long at first I thought you born in Texas 😂
What's your opinion of the "Mastering Diabetes" people?

Please please get to the point ~~ I don’t subscribe to hear a weather report in Texas~~ sorry

You can always fast forward, which is what I'm going to do.
Cry me a river🙄
