If Honda want to sell more, they would need to. Just makes sense
I hope not 🤢
Sure with a CVT and hybrid drivetrain.
Who knew the Harambe timeline meant a $50k Corolla
I hope the next gen comes out soon, this gen has been around since before the pandemic, the interior looks quite dated now.
Wait, this costs more than a Golf R???
IT REALLY NEEDS DE DCT TRANSMISSION....I WILL STILL PREFER THE 6 SPEED STANDART TRANSMISSION OVER THE AUTOMATIC .....AND FOR LESS MONEY AS WELL....
I'm thinking about buying a 2009 Sentra for it has 86 thousand miles, easy miles for 6 grand anyone think it's a fair deal
A Sentra? $5k
@@itstygerr thanks 👍
I dont understand everyone's complaints about price. This car competes with the Type R and Golf R, why would it not have similar pricing. Just because its made by Toyota you think they should just give away 300hp rally hot hatches for free? What fantasy are you guys living in...😂
The golf R CTR offer nicer cabins more room and a lot more polish. Toyota isn’t the epitome of any of these things
@@naveenthemachineif Toyota redesigned the interior for one specific trim it would've driven up its price to MORE than it's competition and basically become DOA.
@@TwisteeTheDefiant1 but they’d have to redesign the entire interior for every corolla. Because as it stands the Elantra civic golf are a whole lot nicer
Less powerful, less space, much worse interior, worse tech, very cramped inside. That's why.
There’s no reason to buy this over a CTR or Golf R. If this car was $10,000 cheaper it would undercut both of them and would be more compelling
Easily one of the best looking cars money can buy and one of the best cars to grace American soil
The mpgs is horrendous.. there shouldn't be any corolla getting horrible numbers in mpg
Congratulations for the new phone 😂
No pops and crackles from the exhaust? Thank you Toyota.
Wait….Toyota will void the warranty on these if you drive 85 mph, oh snap.
I was hoping the automatic transmission would make it quicker than the 6MT. Not this one I guess. Perhaps a DCT would've been better.
He mentioned that he didn’t launch the car properly. He’ll do another review later.
@@nf1369 looking forward to it. As per MotorTrend, Toyota is saying the 0-60 time is identical to the 6MT.
@@TheBreakfastLover it should be something within that ballpark or a tad bit slower or quicker, we’ll see
This model is way overpriced. The Core MT in Canada is $51K CAD. The Auto Premium is $61K CAD. I bought my 2024 Golf R MT for $52K CAD (loaded except sunroof). It has features you can’t even get on the GR Corolla and proper forged engine internals. Have fun voiding your warranty at 85 MPH in a GR Corolla.
Nice car
50 grand? You can get a low mileage f80 for that money.
Top speed is only 230 kmh. 😟
I see the benefits of the automatic, especially for daily use, if ever driving in traffic or just from point a to point b, but the manual would be better if someone plans to have this car as a weekend toy.
