Have you met people who were working remotely during the night? Because I work for Brazil, I would have to work from 7 PM to 4 AM and then sleep and enjoy from 12 PM to 7 PM. I'm not sure if that would work. I've been to Asia before, and I want to go back and stay in Thailand for 2 months.

Rabbit cards only work on the BTS since the MRT is operated by a different company and the card is only for convenient that you top up the card instead of buying a ticket every time you use the BTS.

Definitely do not go to the Nana area. Absolutely wild there. Chatuchak/Ari area is a lot more chilled out. Also the area north of the Khaosan Road, north of the river is quite nice and quiet, but not much going on there. People seem to like the areas along the BTS towards Bang Chak. There are probably more areas I'm missing, Bangkok is huge
Great info and great budgeting! I’m researching to see what kind of lifestyle my budget would be able to support. For the cost of rent, it could be even lower if you plan to live there (retire) because yearly contracts for condos or houses get much cheaper ($200-300/month).
As allways the rule is: Longer u stay in a Country cheaper it gets . For me living and working 15 years I. Bangkok and speak pretty good Thai it's no problem to live extremely good like Thai middle-class on small amounts.(Median salary is 2900$ a month btw(2023)) For a Newbie that been in the country 2-3 months..well .it's a learning curve and first YEAR gonna be alot more expensive as u learn where to shop eat etc .
We are eating local and shopping at Lotus's but not at the prices you are mentioning. We are spending about 500 Baht for 2 every day all up for food, groceries, and transport. Highly recommend the local yoghurt for 20 Baht it's equally as food as imported stuff.
Oh. And the buses are great once you get away from the crazy of Nana. We stayed in Ari and Punnawithi and took buses to nearby spots easily. The benefit of a Rabbit card is not queuing for tickets. The cards are valid for 7 years, so if you are a frequent traveller, I think it's worth avoiding queues and loading up your rabbit card with a months worth of money.
You know... we've never noticed those 20 baht yoghurts. But you've peaked my interest and next time we are there we're going to look out for them. We love our granola and yoghurt :-) (we also found granola to be quite expensive)
I suppose you have a good point, Nana is not a great area for traffic. Did you enjoy staying in Ari? We are looking to stay in that area next time we are in Bangkok. We didn't take the BTS as often as we thought we would. We took the river taxis a lot more often. I think the BTS was the least used method for us.

I found that Lior took the lion's share of the presentation but that Mirit constantly interrupted so it was distracting. Please view this as positive feedback to build on. I encourage you to keep on going.
You guys bragging about cheap living in Thailand so much and It won't be staying cheap for too long. Just let people know how much you paid and let your audiences be the judges. Thailand already charge foreigners more than they charge the locals so your excitement will fuel more cost for foreigners.
