I turned 13 during the summer of love. Even at the time I thought the music was extraordinarily good. I feel transported back in time when listening to this video, when I was young, life was simple, the fun I had, and the amazing music on the radio. Good times. Killer video.
@larrysmith5249 I was 13 in 1967, too. Turned 14 that December. On my 16th Birthday (Dec.19th 1969) I saw Janis Joplin in concert. I was thrilled to find and listen to that on TH-cam.
In Los Angeles we just didn't hear Pink Floyd on the radio in 67. However, 71 of the tunes you featured got serious air play! Thanks for the memories. 🌞
I was nine in 67. I thought the music was the best. Even when I was a teenager in the 70s, I thought 60s music was better. It wasn’t until the late 70s, that I re-engaged with the current music scene. I love punk and new wave.
1967: great songs and albums were released pretty much every week. A literal embarrassment of riches. 2024: instantly forgettable songs and albums released pretty much every week. A literal embarrassment.
