Unless I missed it too bad you don't have a walk in store. I'm in Troy MO and could use a nice day trip.

Looks smooth to me. I like the torque for crawling and the speed for muddying

Hey John, Great video as always. Do you think that you could do a video on the link positions that you mentioned and the logic behind it?
I've always been curious and you explain things so well. Appreciate it and you have a good day also. 🤠🇺🇸☝️

Trailmaster 27t 540 is the best motor I've had. Tons of torque, and more than enough wheel speed on 3s. Doesn't get hot either!

Thanks for another great video. I like the scale aspect, I don't do comps, just me and friends, but I do like having the most capeable rig on the trail. Maybe I just like showing off.

John, you have hit the nail RIGHT on the head, when it comes to the AXE System... There's some people swear that it's the second coming itself! 😳
I'm an Old Fart too, been in the Hobby since 1984... But didn't discover Crawling until 2015!!! I had no idea how much I MISSED.
But yeah, I enjoy the purity of it. I'm Old School.
NOT that I would prefer a 40 year old Ford with Leaf Springs and Twin I-Beams!! 😳😐 My old butt definitely couldn't take it anymore, especially with the laundry list of injuries I've got.
When it comes to 1/10th Scale, the only technology I'm looking for is a good Drag Brake, and great low speed control. Love Tuning and Tinkering with my Rigs - even if nothing's wrong with it!
I wish I could try a Wraith 1.9... but it's just not in my budget. WHAT is it really?
A Wraith Cage and SCX10 II axles, Skidplate and Transmission??
I know of some differences; the front mounted Battery is nice - even though most of us have already done that to our "2.2 Wraiths"...
LOVE the hinged Hood!! I'd like to integrate that into my old Wraith.
But are there any other significant differences - besides the even more inferior Electronics??
    Carmine ✈🚂🚙

Great video! I don't have a super capable rig at all but I love the motors and brxl! I thought mine blew up but it was the motor because I forgot to clean it after mudding.

Very nice build. Bummer we got one of those Spectrum STX2 radios with our Arrma Typhon that goes 70mph. I had to replace radio so we could safely drive our car. I was so glitchy I was afraid to drive it. I can't even sell that radio, I don't want to rip anyone off. .lol thanks for all the build tips there very helpful 🏁👻👍🏁

Great video sir just purchased one of your 21 turn trailmaster sport 550 to replace my gen 7 stock motor wow what a difference running a 3s hobbywing 1080 with 16 tooth pinion with a ECX slipper clutch and wraith ripsaw 2.2 tires runs sooo much cooler and a lot more punch with just the right amount of wheel speed and now I have a drag brake ! now I need to save up to get one of your esc's .

Hey John. I'm absolutly with you. A rig what's doing everything for you, is a kind of boring. Crawling should always be a challenge. Especially scale-crawling.
By the way. The big Lebowski! I love this movie!
    Kind regards from Germany,
    Michael

John are u making 1/8 scale motors or 1/5 scale cans?I have one of your 6s brushless on my crawler.love it!I have hobbywing axe, castle slates by handful, tekin brushless.your system a beast.wondering if any bigger motors for different applications in future.any talks of drag or speed run motors.be very interested in seeing what that product would do when u put your expertise and task at hand....I love crawling, but also love high speeds, boats, drag cars, bashers or monster trucks, like drifting.depends on my mood that particular day...

Im fairly new to crawling and yet I have an understanding of what you say about too capable rigs. My first creepy crawling toy was the trx-4 at launch. That one got me hooked right away. My second car was a kit wraith. I can't stand it really. Except for that horrible horrible torque twist it has it's not that fun to drive because it is way to easy. Although I've got some performance improvements done to my defender I really like the challenge that top heavy box of a car has to offer.

John, I think it would be beneficial for you to address the knock-off 3 Brothers RC servo issue. Apparently many people are misinformed, asserting that it is "NOT a copy of the SHV500 and/or BETTER than the SHV", and one person even stated that you were quoted as saying such, which I of course highly doubt. This just makes me mad as a loyal customer and I think you should do something about it.

First great video.. second thanks for taking care of the issue I had with the 1800 kv revolver one awesome motor ...I just finished building a UMG 10 and installed a Mamba X and of course a 1800 kv Revolver the pinion I am using is a 14 tooth seems the have good crawling speed and a bit of good wheel speed when needed. I had it out it was 97 degrees out side the motor after a hour walk and crawl session got up to 122 degrees do you think this is to hot? Thanks again love your products I do have several motor for you 2 1800 kv revolvers , 1 stubby 2700 kv , 3500 kv and a 1400 kv stubby revolver for a new project...

Hey John! Great video as usual. Will that anti-sway bar fit on a classic SCX10 chassis?

  • @RTmadnesstoo
    @RTmadnesstoo 5 ปีที่แล้ว

Did you put in those anti-squat links? Could you explain how they work. I would like a shot of your swaybar installation also unless you covered it in another video.
I was looking through your website and saw some motor diodes. I have an old (vintage!) Novak esc that requires Schottki(?) diodes. Is that what I'm looking for? Is there a wrong way to install them?
    Thanks for the video.

Hey John, are you not selling your brushless ESC anymore? wanting a revolver motor but was hoping to use your ESC that supposedly helps cancel the whining motor noise , any suggestions for this ?

Since your never going to make a 550-can TorqueMaster Magnum...which motor has more torque , a 540-can TorqueMaster Magnum vs 550-can TorqueMaster Pro 27T?
Do you think either motor have WAY more torque than the 38-turn 560 motor that's in my BC8 Mammoth?
