- So after I went to Axial Fest and drove the wraith 1.9 a lot I was very impressed and then I realized it seems to be sorta forgotten about. Lets take a look and see how it stacks up.

I love this rig! This is the rig in my collection I’ve spent the least amount of money to make it more capable, and sometimes with terrain that requires your rig to articulate, it performs a little better than my $600 plus rigs. It’s so fun to drive definitely underrated

Probably came across this vid cause I just posted a couple new wraith vids but you absolutely right this rig never has got the credit deserves. Out of our 15 or so crawlers this is one of my favorites. Nice crawling and video for sure !!!

I absolutely love my wraith 1.9! It’s still got all the plastic links and takes tons of abuse. All I did to it was change motor, servo and esc.

Yeah it is a very good performer.
Love my wraith . I did the fastback conversion as I never liked the stock rears look. It’s taken some abuse . Still plods on . Great landscape and video 😂

I just purchased an axial Wraith poison spider edition in mint condition I don’t even think I want to drive it. Looks like it’s going to be a shelf queen

I'm considering this rig now after watching this. Maybe get a Hobbywing Fusion 1800kv combo for it. Smooth crawling!!! I had the 2.2 Wraith and loved it.

Great overview video on the rig I've had my eyes on this one for a while. Just haven't pulled the trigger on it. Maybe I should do it soon😁 Just can't tell the old lady🤣

I love mine, it’s a great platform! Ive got the only one with a DMG short back stiffy kit to my knowledge!
I have a little 3d printed piece that sits in the battery tray so i can run my shorty packs, running a HW1080 ESC and Holmes torque master 540 sport and 100mm desert lizards with a decent amount of droop and it sits low but still goes anywhere, also did a full SSD front axle with overdrive, i can give more info if you want on what ive got and how it does

I still have it. Stole parts off it and never got new ones. It is in pieces on shelf.

Seriously, bring it back throw AR45 straight axles on it and updated body/cage it would be an awesome rig
It is a good rig. I been wanting to take it out more. It's really the misses truck but we married so what's her's is also mine.

It has the axial lexan interior. I could maybe for a passenger. then add a spare head on the body I guess.

Put some brass on the front a d I bet it will tackle that Super tough spot without flipping.. I put SSD knuckles on mine and it changed it tremendously

Want to talk about a forgotten rig look at the 2.2 axial wraith Poison Spyder.. I still use mine today. But I'm not sure why nobody likes. Other than it's a giant lol

The reason it didn't takeoff is because being a tube chassis automatically makes it a class 3 rig so it was pretty pointless for comps

@@RCPropaganda so pretty much it just ended up being a novelty itemthey should have came out with another short wheelbase like the dingo from back in the day
