    Dude...after watching the video last week, I ordered the parts kit from Amazon (less than $12-removal tool included) and was able to do the EXACT things you did (down to even using the same impact driver 😊) and had a nice tight front fender in less than 30 minutes. Much appreciated.

    Just the video, that I needed! I went through the Car Wash and apparently, one of my rear fender clips broke off, from my 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon. I ordered my fender clip kit from Amazon, so I feel confident enough, to do the repair myself (female)😘🤙🏽🛻 Aloha 🌺🍍and Mahalo for this detailed and up close video 🐶🙌🏼💯

      Hey Jadef6784, thanks for checking out my video and I am glad that you found it helpful! I have not checked to see if the clips are the same across the JK wrangler, JL wrangler, and JT gladiator but I am aware the attachment methods are similar. I hope the repair goes smooth for you! 🤙🏼

    Push as I might, I cannot get the rear flares back on. Just nothing to push against and no way to get a finger or tool into the gap to aid with pin alignment. Occasionally I manage to get a couple or three clips to snap in, but no way to get them all back in place.

    • @VictorVectorJKU
      @VictorVectorJKU  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey there Tom, thanks for checking out my video! So each of the clips can slide a bit inside the flare so ensuring alignment of each as you go to the body panel is key. If I recall correctly there are a few spots tougher than others because the form of the flare but they should pop in with the rigidity of the flare

      Hey there srsurfin77, unfortunately I do not have a diagram or way to upload a photo and I no longer have the factory inner fender liner to show this. I found a detailed picture process that another Jeeper created. Check out the following link: wanderingtrail.com/Mechanical/FlareRemove/FlareRemove.html

      @VictorVectorJKU  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey there srsurfin77, unfortunately I do not know of the tool used to replace the plastic rivets between the inner liner and the outer flare. I think I used a set of plyers and a nail or something to install them.

    • @tedballard4832
      @tedballard4832 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If you have the pry bar put the rivet in and use the pry bar to hold it against the fender. At the same time use some wire cutters to pull the tip out. Keep pulling until it breaks or tight then cut off excess

      So that is the factory rubicon rock slider. I found the passenger side listed on quadratec at the link below. I suggest looking on Facebook market place, eBay or other sources for used sliders since they are listed at $340 per side! You should be able to get a used pair below $200 if you can find it!

    • @VictorVectorJKU
      @VictorVectorJKU  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey there Alan, thanks for checking out my video! I am not positive if the design is any different for the clips, but they are very similar as I helped a friend put tube flares on her gladiator and they appeared very similar. The process and concept is very similar for replacing the clips on the gladiator tho. There are a few additional fasteners that must be removed on the gladiator.

    • @MrGodSinx
      @MrGodSinx หลายเดือนก่อน

      After. the rear one by the door still looked like it was a little wobbly thinking maybe you might have to push it harder in for the clip to hold

    • @VictorVectorJKU
      @VictorVectorJKU  หลายเดือนก่อน

      It could have been that the location of where the clip is held on the plastic flare was slightly damaged. I do recall them getting a bit damaged after being ripped off a couple times. Fortunately I do not run the factory flares any longer so it’s not an issue for me any longer!
