    Thank you so much for this video. So if your making several batches, do you clean out the canister in-between batches? If not, does it start to taste burnt?

      Hi Roxanne yes, when making kettle corn, I need to clean the canister with each batch. For regular popcorn, that isn't necessary but with kettle corn it is.

    This is perfect! I just got my mom a Great Northern 6oz kettle popping machine, and I was trying to search for sweet kettle corn kits, but this is much better! Can't wait to try it(:

    So I tried this tonight for the first time in my 8oz superior popcorn machine. It was amazing g. I didn’t get burning but when I dumped the kettle the bottom pieces were very caramelized. I scooped those pieces out cause the kids would have thought it was burnt. I was able to make one batch then do a quick rinse wipeout then a second. I was worried with the second batch cause I was starting with a much hotter kettle but it turned out the same as the first. For my first time it was a hit I just need to lower my salt ratio at the end or find a better way to sprinkle the salt. Thanks for the help!

    Great video! I have been toying with the idea of buying a machine similar to yours since I have started making lots and lots of kettle corn at home in my Old fashioned Whirley Pop popper. I add my sugar and seeds right away in my machine but I am sure that yours is hotter. The Pappys is great but I think its just granulated sugarso I personally have started just using sugar and a touch of brown sugar.

      Glad you like the video. Kettle corn is so good, we love making it too. Good point about the home version, it probably is quite basic to make. Thanks for watching.

    Just curious if there is any aftertaste of the kettle popcorn after you clean the machine and make the theater popcorn?

    How’s the cleanup versus regular popcorn?

    • @HappyHauteHome
      @HappyHauteHome  ปีที่แล้ว

      Clean up is a bit more difficult as the kettle corn topping is sticky and can cause burning in the kettle.

    Artificial flavours in that Pappys? Meh. No thanks. Corn, coconut oil and white or brown sugar. Kosher Salt to taste. That's all you need.

    It would be better to wear a glove so that you won't get burn .

      @HappyHauteHome What I'll do first is open the light and put the white coconut oil first that way the pot is nice and cool you won't get burn. On my Olde Midway popcorn machine says. DO NOT HEAT KETTLE WITHOUT OIL! Mostly likely you'll get burn 🔥
