Looks like the octopus was supposed to be a reference to Ultros from final fantasy 6. You fight him on a similar looking airship at one point and even the beginning of the cuphead airship theme sounds like the beginning of FF6's airship theme. It's cool that they at least kept an FF6 reference in the game with one of Sally's forms. If Jelly had remained in the game, I wonder if he would have been joined by a monster similar to Chupon later in the fight.

The airship can be heard on the 2019 dlc trailer if you skip to 4:23 in the track and then listen to the dlc trailer and it makes sense what music was used in the trailer

Even though I’ve played enough Mario maker 2 to know that’s a terrible idea, it’s a great idea.
A 2 player mode (or possibly even 3 player mode if you add mugman) where one player is the boss and the other as the cup-bros would be pretty cool
I would really like that, but it would be very hard to make.
Actually, the Flying Gentleman and the Light did see the light of day in the DLC…sorta. The Spider in the Moonshine Mob is a tweaked design of the spider, and his wife uses the Light’s mechanic. Jelly’s Parry-only mechanic also brings to mind the chess bosses in the King’s Leap

there was another left ot boss called raddish , his death animation was finished and his hair was like a pinwheel hat . his attack was him spinning himself to cuphead his introducing animation was him twerling his hair and him have sharp teeth

If you don’t attack the onion in the root pack, the radish will appear and you fight him while you fight the carrot
If while Weepy the Onion is looking left and right worriedly, if you don’t attack, then he goes back in the hole, and you fight the radish as you fight Psycarrot

I have theories of why they never appeared.
Demon Bat got fired by the Devil and that's why he no longer appeared.
Jelly The Octopus's soul was taken by the Devil and he was tortured for eternity in Hell.
The Flying Gentleman escaped the Devil's debt and changed his identity and appearance, so the Devil never found him. He changed his name to Charlie Left Legs, married Light Bug and he joined Moonshine Mob.
The Light was punished by the Devil and he took him to the darkest pit of Hell for eternity.
Betty Beet was eaten by some human and that's why she never appeared.
Pachi Pachi was probably also tortured in the darkest pit of Hell for eternity by the Devil.
But remember, those are just theories. Gaming theories.
My theory on The Flying Gentleman: He would have been fought in the skies. His intro would have had him popping up from the clouds, his tounge would have stuck out wiggling at cuphead and mugman with wide eyes. He then would have had a walk animation with him walking backwards and his body bouncing up and down with his tounge also bouncing. With that sentence, the gentleman's tounge would have stretched forward making cuphead and mugman have to go up or downto avoid the tounge

You can actually access the beet boss by not hitting the onion in the root pack battle, they’ll show up during the carrot battle and spin along the floor

There was another boss from the root pack, I think it was a radish and had a 50/50 chance of appearing instead of weepy

if you don't kill the onion in the root pack, a beet will appear. i think it was suposed resemble betty beet. but if you get killed by it,it says you were killed by the carrot instead. check it out on your cuphead.

At 3:15 the music pages shown are actually the sheet music to king dices song for the Alto sax, it’s a nice detail that just shows this dude didn’t just throw up a picture of “stock sheet music”

Hello, SuperHorrorBro I’m new sun. Also you forgot the card boss well I don’t know the name of it. But it certainly a card well the king card. The place you fight the boss is white with a roof with spikes at the top that goes down slowly to kill cuphead/cuphead and mugman after cuphead gets hit by it, it goes back up slowly. Also the last 2 things I know about it it’s that it can’t be damage and other thing the king card is badly drew. Also it couldn’t attack all that cuphead/cuphead and mugman could do is wait until they die and the image of him when the players die is blank with no words on it.

pachi pachi is also a hidden boss if you say yes to the devil you might be albe to encouter him.

The root pack's mini boss can be obtained by not damaging the onion boss instead of weeping it will go away nicely and leave the mini boss behind with the carrot boss
Going back now and some of these assets are now in the dlc. That’s kinda cool.
I heard that Pachi Pachi was cut from the game because it was too easy for players to dodge his fire laser attacks, and was a much too easy boss. But that's all I heard so far...

For a horror channel this is surprisingly light-hearted for this channel
They put all this time and effort four the ones that got animated and they just cut them out of the game after all the hard work they added

In the one of the trailer there is a image of wener werman handing over his soul contract all beat up maybe when you defeat the boss it'll show a cutscene of the boss character all beat up handing over the contract while cuphead and mugman give them a oneliner
In the vegetable boss if you don’t shoot the crying onion for long enough he will go away and you will skip him but then in the carrot boss there is a small beat root spinning around

There is a character named radish who was so well made, some people hacked him in. Eventually, as well as the release of Cuphead on the switch, he was added into the game but only appears if you don't attack weepy. He spins toward you while you are battling the carrot guy, and you can kill him first, or kill the carrot guy, which kills him.
I did that while playing cuphead on my xbox and the radish just made the game harder
The radish lady drawings we saw at the beginning is actually somewhat in the game, if you dont attack the onion then you will skip him but instead get a radish that spins around while you attack the carrot

Green guy was probably a test for some of the earliest maneuvers making sure they worked the was no pary because it was added later

Movement:
He will move backwards, avoiding cuphead and his second phase is him chasing cuphead and mugman.
Attacks:
Flying Kick: He will stretch out his leg in the backround and his foot will come behind cuphead and this time the tip of his foot is parryable.
Poison Spit: He will make a blob that is parriable come out and roll on his tounge and launch it overhead of cuphead or mugman.
Stick Around!: When he is about to get to his second phase, (like when you shoot him enough) he will activate his last move in the 1st phase, Making cuphead and mugman stuck to the wall but they can only move up and down, dodging tiny spiders crawl across the webby bridge, making many lines from his, well, butt. The spiders will only move forward, not up and down, unless they are parryable. You soon get unstuck when he is finally on his second phase.
2nd phase looks: ok guys i might revisit this spot so if i recieve a comment i will add more info ok? bye!

I am pretty sure Betty Beet was replaced with that beetroot when you get the secret boss in the root pack (not shooting weepy) which is when you skip to psycarrot and the beetroot is there
Actually, I once saw a photo of the demon hat in a magazine that I think dates from 2014 or 15 where they were showcasing information about upcoming games
Well at least Pachi Pachi finally made it into the game as a free update from what I saw on the Nintendo Switch version on TH-cam so far but I doubt it's still in other versions of the games as a update so thank Studio MDHR for that
