Halo 3 didn’t have skill based matchmaking from what I recall, so unless they added it with the master chief collection, it wouldn’t do a thing to make new accounts.
There are plenty of old pros that used to make montages and get clips like these, naded has a ton of good clips across all the older halos to name one. Although by nowadays clip standards most of the older h3 stuff pales in comparison.
You are right about overkills on other pros hitting different, but it's all preference that's why montages used to be separated by "social" or "MLG" most of the time. This was a debate even on the some of the oldest social montages. Kamp used to have a h3 montage where he went into ranked mlg for as soon as it came out and almost every clip was against well known pros at the time, still my favorite h3 montages to this day but I doubt you'd ever be able to find it nowadays.

I used to be one of the best halo 2 players in the world, and the best in Texas for h3, back when. Pros and GB placers for MLG didn’t like playing against me and the many players we ran with because it affected their qualifying rounds for tournaments. I wonder how good i could have gotten had I continued playing till this day.
What sensitivity do you use? Your aim is smooth, yes, but it’s also very fast. Do you have your turn acceleration pretty high? Btw, this is some of the best gameplay I’ve ever seen, and I’ve been a lifelong Halo fan.
I always feel a little bad when the overkill isn't an extermination, because 99% of the time that means one of those poor MF just got killed twice in the span of like 5 seconds
