He gets killed with bullets and 4 ragtag villains, one of which he beat numerous times. I also miss the bat-family and how they were all unceremoniously killed off-screen. I badly wish that this was a Red Hood game instead of Suicide Squad.

We’ve been wanting to see other Justice League members in the Arkham Verse for a while and when we finally got them it was to kill them off and in the most dumbest way possible….I’m all for a Suicide Squad game just they should’ve used a different villain….but i think they did this on purpose because i think they want people to move on from the Arkham Verse

Feels like they wanted to make every task force member have a dynamic with one of the justice leaguers. It obviously makes sense with flash and Captain boomerang, or harley quinn and batman since they're those heroes rogues respectively. I guess they didn't want deadshot to have a special grudge with batman cause it'd be repetitive but that's silly. What's worse is I don't think King Shark has any dynamic with of the justice league in this game. Not even superman despite starting out as. Superboy villain. Feel like they could've been a lot more creative with the villains they picked for this game but just cherry picked the most basic members they figured everyone knew about.
The fact none of the squad members die in a « suicid squad » game makes 0 sense. Imagine if there was no live service thing, you’d see all of them die one by one confronting the League until you’re left with Deadshot and Harley only, one of them making an ultimate sacrifice saving the world. I know the game is called Killing the JL , but I and most people are not upset by their death, but rather by the humiliating way in which they were killed without respect or scenes befitting their names. Batman dies without a fight honoring his name and he listens to Harley's insults like a brat, while he was weak, surrendered and the Batman we know would fight until his last breath and die with honor. flash. The fastest man alive was hit by bullets and beaten in a humiliating way, and Boomerang was going to urinate on him. Green Lantern had a short fight and then fell to sleep on the ground and listened to Deathshot's taunts. Superman gets showered with bullets and goes down like nothing، Even though Wonder Woman fought him with her great power and kryptonite and lost, these clowns defeated him and end the glory of the JL like that 😐😐😐

They could've made it like the batman that the squad killed was from a parallel universe and the original was still under braniac's control and braniac used his intelligence for his work while the other batman did his field work. During the final boss fight, instead of fighting the squad which killed the justice league, he sends Arkham batman who neutralizes the squad quickly. Then braniac orders batman to kill the squad, that's the moment Arkham batman snaps out of his control and we play as Arkham batman and defeat braniac. We have seen batman snap out of scarecrows fear toxin and copperhead's toxin multiple times. He's mentally and physically very strong so it would make sense for him to snap out of mind control when he's told to break his "no kill" rule.
Although I hate how they ended Batman. This is just not a good idea considering this is a suicide squad game. Best thing is just to say this is a different earth to the main Arkham games, while sharing similarities.
I really wish rock steady did the Batman boss fight better than just their standard "shoot at the giant version of the human sized enemy". They could've taken a page from Arkham origins boss fights

Honestly,the main issue of this game is plot armour that Suicide Squad has,and of course it gives plenty of disrespect to the Justice League. If it was made from some actually strong individuals,like Reverse Flash,Bizarro,Bane and Yellow Lantern,it would make a lot more sense for their victory,and maybe it won't even have to be a team play,just 1 v 1 and similar abilities. Like, Reverse Flash chasing Flash in speed force and creating tornadoes of his own,Yellow Lantern making some constructs as well,Bane having some tricks up his sleeve against Batman,etc. All this would actually be a justifiable victory and understandable for heroes to die in such encounters.

Then again, maybe the ring was tampered with to become the source of corruption, which I think was why King Shark's construct turned on the Squad (from what I understood)? Maybe then it doesn't work as "normally" anymore and anyone could just wear it (or at least Shark could, since I think he could qualify on being fearless), albeit under Brainiac's control then.

Why does the Green Lantern and Deadshot speak in slangs, like they were 2 black rappers??? I mean they're black, that's a fact. But black isn't just defined by a stereotypical way of speaking that you usually see in movies where there's a black dude from the hoods.
So the writers basically failed to do their home work at all. A Green Lantern ring chooses the bearer, not the other way around. The moment John died, it would have sought out another bearer. King Shark would never have been able to wear it. Idiot writers.

All the positivites: The SS Squad are actually funny. King Shark and Boomerang were amazing. Harley had a good story. Deadshot was more bland but still badass and cool. The gameplay was really good. Movement and combat and abilities also really good. They actually stuck to the whole point of this game and actually killed the justice league (other than aquagoat who's always forgotten sadly). All the side characters were amazing. And yeah overall 7.5 or 8/10 game.

It’s kind of INSANE as to how ALL of these rouges will finally get their just dues and final moments when offing the Justice League like that, ESPECIALLY Harley, who got MORE than her fair share of incredible twisted greatness in being the ONLY rogue to finally do The Dark Knight in after so many of the OTHER Rogues have failed in the ENTIRE Arkham game series! 58:17 Not going to lie, but this game is just insane here. RIP Kevin conroy, although I do think the idea of most of the battle using those damn Batman statues from Arkham knight’s joker nightmare sequence was an interesting choice and a cool call back to how spooky that part was not knowing when they would just strike.
So I see a lot of comments about how the superheroes die in pretty dumb ways, or how can this random group of 4 villains with just guns beat these guys. I think the concept is the fact that the heroes are being mind controlled and not utilized to their full potential. I mean we all know that any of these heroes clears these villains in a very easy fashion, but if they aren't technically themselves then that kind of explains it. I don't think its the best trope to explain how they're able to pull this off, but at least it doesn't make it completely unbelievable.
They pull it off cause plot. And idk why people think being mind controlled can make you less effective they are still themseleves but without limits. They would be better killers. They would never pull this off. But it’s a game whoever can do whatever the writer wants.

Batman handled them easily at his normal size. But the gameplay itself wouldn’t allow you to fight batman as he would fight. Everyone is a huge bullet sponge. Flash knowing they have a countermeasure still approaches them when he can throw lightning. Green latern can cuff them all like he did effortlessly even with the yellow ring stuff. It’s just plot armor and Atleast they had an explanation but still. That’s every media tho. Harley was right tho. Batman would outright want to die rather than become a monster that takes innocent lives. So did all of the JLA. They are at best, prisoners in their own bodies, actively resisting the control-at worst whoever they were is essentially dead and replaced already. And a large part of what made them strong is gone. The squad is fighting them at 10%, at best.
I don't think it's really fair to act like their full potential wasn't being shown when you see cutscenes trying to establish the kind of powerhouse they are. You literally have an entire cutscene of wonder woman fighting against Superman and how do you defeat Superman? Exactly. The Flash loses getting gunned down and they transition that in game battle into a cutscene making some of these bosses shaky in terms of execution. It honestly feels like a lot of these characters end up being established to be an overwhelming level of threat against these characters yet the execution leaves a lot to be desired from what is being established IN GAME. Last but not least, it wasn't just how they die that makes it dumb. If you look at how the Flash dies and Batman, you'd realize how poor some of these deaths were handled.
Fr, I thought we moved past the point of shooter bosses just being bullet sponges. superman is the only one to make aiming at the boss challenging and he goes down in 1 minute.
I would prefer this being a Justice League game fighting against Brainiac would had been a better idea. Maybe alternate versions of the Justice League fighting more powerful versions of themselves than having the Suicide Squad. Could have gotten a flying Superman or Green Lantern game and plus Batman Missions with his own gadgets. List goes on and on would have been way better and more to the game

Feels like they wanted to make every task force member have a dynamic with one of the justice leaguers. It obviously makes sense with flash and Captain boomerang, or harley quinn and batman since they're those heroes rogues respectively. I guess they didn't want deadshot to have a special grudge with batman cause it'd be repetitive but that's silly. What's worse is I don't think King Shark has any dynamic with of the justice league in this game. Not even superman despite starting out as. Superboy villain.
Feel like they could've been a lot more creative with the villains they picked for this game but just cherry picked the most basic members they figured everyone knew about.

They could've made it like the batman that the squad killed was from a parallel universe and the original was still under braniac's control and braniac used his intelligence for his work while the other batman did his field work. During the final boss fight, instead of fighting the squad which killed the justice league, he sends Arkham batman who neutralizes the squad quickly. Then braniac orders batman to kill the squad, that's the moment Arkham batman snaps out of his control and we play as Arkham batman and defeat braniac. We have seen batman snap out of scarecrows fear toxin and copperhead's toxin multiple times. He's mentally and physically very strong so it would make sense for him to snap out of mind control when he's told to break his "no kill" rule.

Honestly,the main issue of this game is plot armour that Suicide Squad has,and of course it gives plenty of disrespect to the Justice League. If it was made from some actually strong individuals,like Reverse Flash,Bizarro,Bane and Yellow Lantern,it would make a lot more sense for their victory,and maybe it won't even have to be a team play,just 1 v 1 and similar abilities. Like, Reverse Flash chasing Flash in speed force and creating tornadoes of his own,Yellow Lantern making some constructs as well,Bane having some tricks up his sleeve against Batman,etc. All this would actually be a justifiable victory and understandable for heroes to die in such encounters.

Welp that's all the positives, it looks like.
All the positivites: The SS Squad are actually funny. King Shark and Boomerang were amazing. Harley had a good story. Deadshot was more bland but still badass and cool. The gameplay was really good. Movement and combat and abilities also really good. They actually stuck to the whole point of this game and actually killed the justice league (other than aquagoat who's always forgotten sadly). All the side characters were amazing. And yeah overall 7.5 or 8/10 game.

RIP Kevin conroy, although I do think the idea of most of the battle using those damn Batman statues from Arkham knight’s joker nightmare sequence was an interesting choice and a cool call back to how spooky that part was not knowing when they would just strike.
So I see a lot of comments about how the superheroes die in pretty dumb ways, or how can this random group of 4 villains with just guns beat these guys. I think the concept is the fact that the heroes are being mind controlled and not utilized to their full potential. I mean we all know that any of these heroes clears these villains in a very easy fashion, but if they aren't technically themselves then that kind of explains it. I don't think its the best trope to explain how they're able to pull this off, but at least it doesn't make it completely unbelievable.

Flash knowing they have a countermeasure still approaches them when he can throw lightning. Green latern can cuff them all like he did effortlessly even with the yellow ring stuff. Harley was right tho. Batman would outright want to die rather than become a monster that takes innocent lives. So did all of the JLA. They are at best, prisoners in their own bodies, actively resisting the control-at worst whoever they were is essentially dead and replaced already. And a large part of what made them strong is gone.
The squad is fighting them at 10%, at best.

It honestly feels like a lot of these characters end up being established to be an overwhelming level of threat against these characters yet the execution leaves a lot to be desired from what is being established IN GAME.
Last but not least, it wasn't just how they die that makes it dumb. If you look at how the Flash dies and Batman, you'd realize how poor some of these deaths were handled.

Fr, I thought we moved past the point of shooter bosses just being bullet sponges. superman is the only one to make aiming at the boss challenging and he goes down in 1 minute.

I would prefer this being a Justice League game fighting against Brainiac would had been a better idea. Maybe alternate versions of the Justice League fighting more powerful versions of themselves than having the Suicide Squad. Could have gotten a flying Superman or Green Lantern game and plus Batman Missions with his own gadgets. List goes on and on would have been way better and more to the game

In all seriousness though, you have to wonder who thought it would be a good idea to have players kill their favorite characters uncerimoniously, then watch a group of smarmy jerks gloat over it and try to take grissly trophies.
Though maybe I'm just not "edgy" enough to see the appeal.

I feel like if they wanted to go back in time and make this game “better” they should’ve bring out villains that each one has a unique play style, Reverse Flash, Lex Luther, Sinestro, Giganta, Bane or Death stroke villains who have studied these hero’s through and through
