Very nice bike, I have the 2020 version on a 70 plate, now has digital dashboard, piggyback shocks and fuel injection, great bike for such little money, and with interest free finance a service pack and 5 year warranty I really can’t fault it!!!

I brought this bike last Aug 16 plate, it was the black colour, I love the bike, its got that off road look about it, the amount of people that have commented on this bike saying it a nice looking bike, looks the part. The down side is it does rust, i have tried to keep it as clean as possible over these winter months, but rust is noticeable, but with some TLC this should be sorted, the speed is good, i can leave the traffic standing at the lights with no problem, but also i have had the time when an adrenaline has left me standing lol, the gears are a little clonky, the thing is if you want a bike that turns heads, reliable and gets you from a 2 b all week long on a tenner, (i also find the tyres sound, with no props, even in the snow,) then this is your bike oh and not forgetting the 24 months warranty. I highly recommend this bike.
Just look after it and it will look after you, btw look at this after market exhust that you can have fitted th-cam.com/video/WjhcghFZr-Y/w-d-xo.html

Thanks for the comment. I'm 90% set on getting one of these in a few weeks, the only issue I have is the rust though, since I'll be on it year round. Think it's worth investing in some spray on stuff that would stop it or nah?
My local dealer has a 5 year warranty too, so I'm not too worried about any technical issues.

    Hi.
    Regarding the Kilometre marked speedo.
I cut little triangle shapes out of different coloured insulating tapes and stick them around my kilometer marked speedo at 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 and 70 MPH equivalents.
This makes them easy to see.

That's a pretty nifty bike for 1k, holy shit. It'd be cool if they sold that in the US, but the market isn't there.

  • @MikeBarnacIe

My mate has one of these, he loves it and has done some light green lanes on it.....it seems sturdy but it's not really built for any off road like the looks. He loves the MPG and I agree it's bonkers good!
We fitted heated grips but this was a challenge as the grip inners are not built to be reused!
Nice enough functional as a bike should be.

Yhea it sucks. The tires on my bike are good enough on dry tarmac, but in the rain you can't even go round a roundabout faster than 15 km/h.

Yes if you are finding you are having grip issues new rubber will always help. As for exhaust, it will make it louder, if you want it louder go for it.

Ever been on a Keeway? I've had the RKV for a little while now, seems a good bike so far, review one if you can. I always see people put down Chinese bikes (bet the comments here is full of it) but my Keeway seems really well made and is great to ride, my nephew has the Lexmoto Venom SE that also seems great.
They are well equipped too with digi dashes and kill switch, flashes and more, many other 125's don't have those. Are these people just jumping on a 'hate Chinese bikes' bandwagon?

  • @TriToGame
    @TriToGame 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Bought one of these after my Venom SE was stolen when I needed transport. Decent bike to be fair. Solid, does the job and I find it more fun than the Venom to be honest. Venom was a nicer bike to ride though.

i bought one of these and have so really shitty roads i go on not a single issue on that side. It is under powered and 8 kw which means you can easily tune it up a little with a few cheap mods and it comfortably sit at 60 with without over having the engine sitting revving its tits off and that's all legally as if you keep it within the 11kw range. Only couple issue with it and that down to the price... the chain adjuster are pretty trash don't get me wrong they work but fior a couple pennies more could have made them alot better.
ive put 2.5 k on it in a couple months not a single issue it is a well built bike. As Long as you keep on you maintenance and let the engine run in when you first get it for the first 1 k miles at least you're not going to have an issue .
so all in all its a solid bike if you treat it well and for the money you cant really fault it, Abd if youre willing to spend a few buck to mod it will take you fever.

This bike stopped by me at the red light this morning but I couldn't have proper look so I waited for the rider to move first. It's looks very new and shiny.I was behind at an appropriate distance watching but when we got at the roundabout the rider used hand signals instead of the indicator and used position 3 on the lane. This immidetially tells me that the signal lights has blowned off or they aren't working He was in position 3 because I thought he didn't trust the tires or the bike is not agile

      ( Sorry China ;) )
125cc from companies like Honda I love, had my first bike (Yes am sad) it was a PCX125 and from this thursday I will have a cbr125 I love 125s they might only go 60-65 (PCX did) but they are fun and great for the newbies

Chinese bikes are OK if you look after them. I have a 64 plate lexmoto came from an older guy who bought it new. Kept in his conservatory for a year barely used me and my brother have went over the whole bike got rid of cheap tyres for mitchelens and done a general tighten as it was a bit rattly. Does me OK lol if you are rough with a Chinese 125 or treat it like a peice of shit yes it will be ruined in months but if you look after it will be just fine.

spicy you might or might nor believe me but i have this and have had it for just over a month and i had to add some points onto your vid. the gearing is an issue on this bike, it screams way to much at even 55mph, if you go to take of at traffic lights really fast it will sometimes stall?? and i do agree its not very fast at all, my mate has a lexmoto dart 125 ped and it will beat this all the way to its top speed and then it starts catching up but by then your screaming its guts out. on positive note they is not one time when this bike has failed to start on me . the knobblies are just utterely stupid, they dont give you enough grip and just dont fit in with the bike. the back brake is absolutely shit aswell, understand you couldnt be totally honest for the dake of lexmoto but it sucks. another thing the gear box is shit aswell, sometimes it just doesnt want to enter second from first, and false neutrals and overall clunky as fuck.
l like that i can cruise to work and collage on it and trust it to get me there and back but this bike is nothing more than a work horse

    • @spicy110
      @spicy110  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

+Panashe Muchekwa nothing I say is influenced by the fact I get the bikes from Lexmoto. That's rule 1 when I work with people.
      It's a 125cc it will scream a little at 55 it's only 10mph off it's top end.
The gearbox is unsifisticated but I didn't have any big issues with it, no stalling. have you changed your oil since run in? how many miles have you done? more miles and clean oil may help.
Indeed as I said it's built basic but strong, utilitarian a bit Russian you might say.
For £1300 on the road with warranty, compare to the other options in that price range (not many to pick from) it's a good little bike, for as I say in the video a bike for A to B 😀

spicy110 the thing with these bikes is they are cheap. You can't expect much. I have had a lexmoto gladiator for 4 years and it's still running. It's never going to win medals for high quality parts or top speed but for getting me to work and back every day it's perfect. Also, the lack of sex appeal has its benefits in terms of no one wants to steal it.
I personally worked on mountain bikes for a job for years. You can easily tell cheap bikes from expensive ones but you will also notice any bike will do the job it was designed for. I know people who bought a £100 bike from halfords and it lasts for years being used to ride a mile or so per day and then my old £1000 bike needed new parts all the time because I used it to ride 25 miles per day.
The short of it is, you get what you pay for.

That's a good point. Most people will look to steal other bikes over something like this, which is appealing indeed.

spicy110 i bought it second hand but i am now its second owner and it had a service before i had it but it could do with an oil change soon, maybe i was a bit nit picky but its just all the little things iv noticed from owning it for the time iv had and it and yes you are 100 percent right gets me from a to b so cant fault it and for the odd ride out with my mates on their 125's its not too shabby either. i am really debating on buying a descent pair of slicks for it to aid the handling, when i first got it, i would slightly head shake sometimes when changing gear. its one of them bikes you gotta get used to i geuss. good work horse and it is cheap. cheap and cheerful!

Well had the bike two years with 10.000 km on the clock ,had no problems at all was expecting something to go wrong but been good oil change every 500km that's it ,bit underpowered for the motorways just got to be patient with the bike 8000rpm is the limit don't think the engine would take any more on a long journey

How do you deal with potholes - do you shout at them, shout profanities at the council, spray paint dicks around them, ignore them or report them ?!!! Genuinely want to know as I had a driver overtake me because I slowed right down for this massive pothole and being on a bike makes it ten times worse . He proceeded to go slow in front of me being a typical driving twat .

Chinese bikes are good for 3 maybe 5 years if you look after it. But you will never see one over 15 years old on the road with 100k miles. But it's cheap enough to ignore these facts.

Metal sucks You don't see any that old because they only really became available a decade ago and have only picked up in popularity in the last couple of years. Only time will tell.

+Bick Mitchum tbh if you think about this bike in a Chinese rural setting, poor roads ect it makes alot more sence. Tho in this country with tarmac the tyres are surprising.

spicy110 agreed ! I had an early Chinese enduro called a POR apache parts were like rocking horse shit to get hold of, and unlike the newer ones lexmoto , sinnis etc mine was constantly falling apart I had it from new and after 50 miles the exhaust came of on a dual caring way so they defiently come on a long way !!!
